I note with interest that Alex Bell has been learning long-lost languages - presumably languages whose names begin with L? What about Livonian, which is related to Finnish and Estonian, used to be spoken in part of Latvia and seems to be enjoying a revival? Or Latgalian, which is related to Latvian?

The biggest single turn off to an otherwise good programme is the tirade of obscene language, please do not misunderstand me, I am not a prude (I spent 15 years in 2nd battalion Parachute Regiment) but it detracts from the show and many family members avoid this programme solely for that reason.

Dear Team, First & foremost thank-you so much for being there, (If yours was the only available programme on the whole of television worldwide, I would still gladly pay my licence) !!
I expect the episode with Ms Fisher has already been recorded, so please be kind enough to thank her for appearing, as like herself and Mr Fry, I am also 'Bi-polar'. (I still watch Mr Fry's 'Secret life of a manic depressive), that helps me through the down times.
Thank-you once again, your avid viewer, Tony. (Fraserburgh).

QI is easily the best programme on TV. The elves should be awarded for finding things that amuse the wonderful National treasure that is, Mr Stephen Fry. I sometimes think that QI is a Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis show for smart people. Alan Davies is superb and I think he would be an ideal candidate for adoption by Stephen Fry who is going to live forever and will need someone wonderful to look after him in his old age. Well done to everyone involved in this production.

Stephen is top of my dream dinner party guest list - can you please ask him when he's free...?

Surely the L Series should be No. 12? Did they skip a letter?

Surely not 'klaxons' unless indeed the 'you got caught out' sounds are indeed produced by klaxons, next you'll be telling me you use 'Hoovers' and 'Biros'.
