47: Dad, where's my car?

Post categories:

Isla Isla | 17:10 UK time, Tuesday, 20 July 2010

It's Marla's birthday but she doesn't quite get what she's expecting. At least she's not in Saturday detention, unlike Alex. The band need to sell more advance tickets for the gig, but how will Olive feel about channelling a bit of Ke$ha? And Elliott decides to make up for Marla's disappointment by showing her a good time with just the change in his pocket. What a guy.

Omg, Marla is a brat but I suppose her dad shouldn't have promised her a car if she wasn't going to get one but it's so sweet that all elliott cares about is making her happy but I just hope that Jay turns up because that would just be so good and then stephen has to kick off about toni and mack and that would just be the perfect party for marla the current and the x and an argument. :) Frankie needs to realise that Olives failure isn't her gain she needs to be a good friend to her rather than a bad one.

Right back to business, all of us as i said in the other video blog need to write a complaint email to the bbc trust their email can be found on their website. That way they realise (like they did with 6music) that it's loved and that it's the only website for teenagers within channels. In an article from the guardian dated the 5th july they said that they where definately closing bbc blast but they where leaving the decision of bbc switch open. So we still have time! Don't give up cutlets we can do it
    Lots of love

Marla really is a spolit brat, just be grateful for what you have! Elliott was really sweet taking her out in a car as well, so shouldn't turn her nose up like that it's so rude!
How creepy was Mack singing Happy Birthday at the start?! :S

  • Comment number 3.

Guys, I think we need to make a facebook page!

  • Comment number 4.

Lol at Marla but Mack shouldn't have promised her a car i wonder what Amy is going to do she looked like she is up to somthing. Aww at Elliot he is sooo sweet. I love Alex he is soooo cunning the way he stuck a postit note saying somthing on Rory lol.
Frankie shouldn't have done that if she was a friend she would have gone after her. Can't wait for tommorow ep

I think Marla has the best world ever - why is she being a brat! I mean, I think she is one. She has so much as she needs to appreciate it. & Olive as well, she's such a drama queen. It was just him asking her to dress up! If she wore what she did to George's party she would be perfect...

I hope we can save the Cut guys! I'll help with whatever!

  • Comment number 6.

OMG, what about Elliot asking Marla out in an old banger, that was sooo SWEET!! I loved it when the car would not start-hahaha! I signed the petion to save BBC Switch from closure, I would really miss The Cut. Thanks to everybody who put down their character names. Stephen is the most popular and Olive and Fin are both on the same level:) My favorite character is by far Olive, she looks sooo sweet! It was shock to see her with tied up hair it is usually down, lookin' good! Marla, you should be grateful for what you have and not want more. I can`t wait to see Marla in her Party Dress and those gorgeous high heels! Poor Stephen, I bet he feels awkward/_\ Oh come on Olive don`t be afraid what`s wrong with showing off a bit of flesh here and there! I sooo look forward to tomorrows episode. Whoo-Hoo!!

  • Comment number 10.

Guys, still keep on putting your favourite character down the bottom of your entry unless you already have, thx.

  • Comment number 11.

Teamtommyolive my fave character is Tommy beacause he is sooooo sweet and caring

  • Comment number 12.

Ooh, Elenilove, you broke the rules? Which rule was it (obviously without saying exactly the same thing, because that would just get taken off again)

  • Comment number 13.

I'm sorry for telling people so many times about the facebook page :p My bad, I couldn't see the comments. I really do love the cut. We need to take action. Make a discussion on the facebook page. I really really don't want the cut to go .

  • Comment number 14.

And why is Stephen the most popular? Is it just his looks?

  • Comment number 15.

Teamtommyolive - my favorite character would be olive cause she's really pretty and caring and sweet.

  • Comment number 16.

@teamtommyolive My favourtie character in the past has been Marla because of her focus and funny tantrums.. then I liked Finn because she was edgy and told Olive straight what was up with her. Now I'm not sure though! I really like Cameron out of the new characters and Frankie is hilarious as well!

  • Comment number 17.

teamtommyolive - stephen :P maybe (most definatly his looks)

  • Comment number 18.

teamtommyolive - My favourite character is Elliot,he is really sweet and nice to Marla even when she's in a tantrum and was friendly to cameron.

we should do more to save switch...maybe make a facebook group to not close down switch or The Cut?

  • Comment number 19.

I would definitely join a Facebook group if someone posts the link on this blog. I will not be creating one myself, because I already run a campaign to bring back police drama Holby Blue, and tbh I don't think I'm up to running this one... but I will be a loyal hanger-on. MusicGirl320 should run it, she seems the most determined - or of course any of the others, should they be up for it

  • Comment number 20.

@George Obviously he looks boost his popularity. Can you see him? I mean wow. But I just love him character. He's so evil and pathetic, yet you feel sympathetic towards him, and whenever he brings that moody pout out I just want to hug him. Even when he's in the wrong. Whoever plays him is a fantastic actor!

@tagiatelli I know right! We really need to sort it out

  • Comment number 21.

Do the cut people run the facebook page?

  • Comment number 22.

Hi People, Sadly I don't have facebook ... I might make one but it just seems a distraction in my world. But if I don't someone else can make one. I was thinking of making a blog so that I could post any petitions I find or articles and like what we should do but it's up to everyone else. Let me know :)

  • Comment number 24.

Ok, I have decided i am going to make a blog. :) Post the link later

I agree with what Elenilove said about the actor, but not about the character. As everyone knows, I strongly dislike Stephen, but Matt Kane is a really good actor, I wish they'd give him some better and more interesting storylines. (Plus he's from Bristol, where I'm from, which always helps.) Same goes for Billie North really.

MusicGirl320, Facebook would be a distraction in your life? You mean this blog isn't?

  • Comment number 27.

Yeah but facebook i'd have mates from school aswell you's are just a small distraction which i love of course. :) Might make one haha don't know yet.

Theres no actors from where i come from!?

  • Comment number 28.

Hi guys, just want to say thanks so much for all your amazing support and efforts to keep The Cut! Really means a lot to all of us here and we're really excited about it. Just a little reminder though, for your own safety please make sure you don't give out any personal details (emails, addresses, phone numbers, full names etc) on this site. Thanks Cutlets x

  • Comment number 29.

Ah, Vicki, it's our pleasure, you know that!

Thanks for the reminder, but I really don't think you'll need to worry on this site. The pre-moderation means that any personal details given out will be blocked because it's against the rules. I guess it's a good point if we're joining MusicGirl320's blog though...

Yes, it was :) I went on it and its great. I guess we can just relocate our discussion there?

  • Comment number 32.

Oh no, Music Girl it appears your comments keep getting deleted :/ I read what it said though. What about everyone else?

  • Comment number 33.

Right Guys, I checked my email (Major breakthrough hey?!) and I found an email from the cut (made my day thanku vicki) and it said that my message kept getting deleted because they had looked at my blog and found that it had my personal email :( Gutted! So I have deleted that and (yn) fingers crossed this will now stay so heres the blog that I have made :)

Post help! and fingers crossed we'll get somewhere!

  • Comment number 34.

@Kitty: Yeah I find Mack pretty creepy in general... And Amy..and Mr Fitzpatrick for that matter...

Did Marla's birthday scene remind anyone of Dudley in the first Harry Potter film? LOL
Poor Elliot I forsee him feeling like a used tissue soon...how much fun is Marla right now? He's working so hard for her absorbing her tantrums like a sponge, and when Jay comes back -- will it all be for nothing...

Olive didn't have to dig right back at Frankie acutally..

  • Comment number 35.

@black_vine That's exactly what I thought of! haha

  • Comment number 36.

Everyone just visit that site now, and then if it gets taken off, you'll still have the address in your browser. That's what I did.
