Words and pictures....
We've talked about many topics this week on Talkback - from the flags row in Downpatrick to exporting shamrock from Co Armagh to Afghanistan, but what pictures have stayed in your mind? I don't know about you, but my memorable images come from much further afield.
They're pictures of love and loss, of terrible unimaginable destruction. Two elderly Japanese, wrapped up against the bitter cold, and trying in vain to find any trace of their family home; off camera the woman weeps uncontrollably, the old man , stoical until then breaks down completely, his life in ruins in front of him. Heartbreaking pictures of broken communities, broken people.
Pictures of the tsunami sweeping up everything in its path - cars, homes, offices, huge ships, entire neighbourhoods, whole towns. Rescue workers battling through freezing conditions to find yet more bodies, and the picture of the pet dog staying with his injured four-legged friend until help came along.
Puts things in perspective, doesn't it - and that's without even touching on Libya or Bahrain - or New Zealand...seems like an age ago, but it was only last month.`
So - what's the picture in YOUR head this lovely sunny Friday?
