Love "Cheek to Cheek" - those old Astaire/Rogers numbers. Can't wait to see Sophie and Brendan's take on this.

The beats to the original songs might not be the right beat to dance to Sheila. I love listening to the strictly band x
18:30 16 Oct 2013
I can't wait to see Deborah and Robin dancing again. And a jive to Bucks Fizz's "Making Your Mind Up" - woo hoo!

I would prefer the tango to be danced to traditional tango music, good luck Susannah you are griping from strength to strength.

Looking forward to Brendan and Sophie, Brendan has been my fave since season 1, also enjoying Patrick and Anya and been surprised by Deborah x

What a beautiful song Ashley & Ola have! They really are beautiful dancers together - really looking forward to this Viennese Waltz. Go Team Olash! :-) x

I couldn't agree more, this must be one of the "clunkiest," sites I've ever come across..
A person has to go through all sorts of machinations in order to find stuff and then, so far as I can see, threads just disappear, such as the discussion thread regarding last weeks "Result's Show," thread.
I've found, that the best way round it, in the short term, is to save a "recent comments," dial on Chrome Speed Dial and then you can quickly go back to places where you've made a comment, in order to follow the discussion.
If you have I.E. I assume, you'd have to save each individual discussion as a "favourite," but, either option is not ideal..
Mind you, I wish they'd set it up so that when you return to a discussion thread, that it automatically goes to the "newest," posting first?

@23. stephalex absolutely agree! Also could we PLEASE have a button for Newest First on the blogs - it would make things so much easier. Thanks.

I think that the strictly band is brilliant..............in fact I thnk they sing some of the songs better then the actually artists that recorded them.

Some of the songs sound great, ie Angel and Cheek to Cheek, but why oh why can't we have some orchestral greats without the singing - just sometimes - even the dancers say some of the tunes are poor for tempo. We are dancers ourselves and would have difficulty in dancing to some of the tracks - especially the interpretations for paso's . Can't we have a traditional week! Please ! However, we LOVE the programme xxxxxxxxx

Isn't A World of Our Own a bit fast for a rumba?
17:23 16 Oct 2013
I agree with Jessly. I think Brendan is on course for a double crown. So are Ola and Artem!
19:18 19 Oct 2013

Personally, I love the Strictly band as they do a good job each and every Saturday, as do the singers. I am looking forward to watching all of the dancers but, my favourites are Sophie and Brendan, Natalie and Artem, Susanna and Kevin, Ashley and Ola, Deborah and Robin. Good luck to all of you.

Agree with other posters - only found this link through another post on a forum , it is very difficult to find . Love the song choices but had to check again I had the correct version on YouTube for Usher and Westlife , they seem completely mismatched for those dances . Does anyone know how the song choices are picked ?
