Brian @ 181 - I agree with everything in your post. I was still very tearful a year after my mother passed away and if you add in the huge stress of dancing on live tv ... . I also love the mix of those who are great from the start and those who come on a journey. Lois I agree with your post @179 - I wouldn't change anything about Strictly either but not sure about 183 and your comments about Darren and Lillya. Are you saying they're no longer your favs because they've gained a little weight? I thought they came across really well and seemed very happy.
My favs (and the ones I watch over and over) are Debbie, Alex and Ashton (fav Paso ever!). I also love Mollie and AJ's partnership - they always make me smile. Next are Joe (Katya's choreography is amazing and I love her personality) and Davood. I also loved Anton and Ruth's retro samba - that song and hairstyle took me right back.
P.S: Sommersky @ 175 I agree - of course it was a joke!!
Looks like I'm back posting on here. Must be a light work week :-)

Hello everyone. All well in SCD fanworld? Seeing Flexy McGee with short dark hair last week made me think that perhaps it's time she got her hair cut and coloured a little so that she doesn't look so dated in her style. Also the judges ought to remember that the celebs only try to dance what the pro sorts out for them. It's no good downmarking the celeb for trying to dance what they've been given by the celeb concerned. Not celeb's fault if there are too many whatsits or thingummies in their routine. They don't know enough to question the moves that their pro cchoreographs.
Ta! Ta! for now

Also- to the person who said Alexandra lacks finesse and technical ability; that is simply not true. Her waltz and American Smooth were graceful and gorgeous.

To those complaining about Alexandra's participation...
That's not a very convincing argument seeing as Debbie was a professional ballet dancer, Aston was a judge on a dance show and has significant onstage experience and Mollie has dance experience too as a member of the Saturdays. Why single Alexandra out for complaint?
Many contestants over the years have had a similar level of expereince- Alesha Dixon, Jay McGuinness, Holly Valance, Frankie Bridge, Michelle Williams, Rachel Stevens, Jamelia, Emma Bunton, Anastacia, Louise Redknapp, Kimberley Walsh, Sophie Ellis Bextor etc- to name but a few. This isn't something new.
As for her 'tears' her mother passed away in August- a little kindness and compassion would go a long way. Or at least not being callous...

Why does everyone make such a big deal about every little thing. Judges make mistakes so do dancers but nothing spoils Strictly I love it and always have nothing ever spoils it xxx
