In one of the most hotly contested finals we have ever seen, Caroline Flack lifted the 2014 Glitterball Trophy with partner Pasha Kovalev.
"This is the best feeling in the whole world. This has been the best experience of my whole life, mostly because of Pasha, but also because of the other contestants. I'm so lucky to get to know this incredible bunch of people."
Her win came after the duo achieved perfect scoring from the Judges on every performance in the final, the first couple to do so ever in Strictly history. Their first performance to the Judges pick, the Cha Cha Cha to 'Can You Feel It', left Judge Craig Revel Horwood speechless and Bruno exclaiming, "my golden sex goddess!".
Next up their show-stopping emotional showdance to Beverley Knight's version of ‘Angels' had the audience on their feet and Darcey enthusing, "That was like watching a beautiful contemporary ballet for me, and you’d be in my company any day".
After our results show saw Mark Wright and Karen Hauer go out in fourth place and Caroline and Pasha compete against runners-up Frankie and Kevin and Simon and Kristina, they performed their favourite routine of the series, the Charleston, to ‘Istanbul Not Constantinople’. Following another standing ovation head Judge Len enthused, "there were four Beatles, Three Musketeers, Two Ronnies, but only one winner on Strictly."
