I'm still hurting from a love I lost

Simon Mayo

Well that was an interesting week and nice looking temperatures this weekend. That grass is going to grow till Christmas so is going to have to be tackled sometime.

Film show today with Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy talking about Breathe, a biopic telling the story of Robin Cavendish who, at the age of 28, contracts polio. He's given weeks to live but with the help of his wife Diana and an inventor friend becomes a pioneer, developing new ideas and inventions to help his fellow patients and the disabled. It's a powerful film (directed by Andy Serkis) and Andy and Claire are fine company.

Then we have one of those ARFs with 2005 on the cards as your opening year of requirement. Imagine that! It's like yesterday!

Ellen MacArthur breaks records sailing solo round the world, Dr Who is back with the wonderful Christopher Ecclestone and Bob Gelfof announced plans for Live 8. At the movies it's Batman Begins, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Brokeback Mountain. And in case you had a top song to suggest, please leave in the box below.

And have a top weekend.
