Sophia Wollschlager | 10:18 UK time, Thursday, 16 December 2010

Hello everyone

Sophia here from the See Hear production team….

You might have noticed that it has been rather quiet here on our See Hear blog recently.

Just to let you know we haven't disappeared altogether, but we are in the process of changing the way we will be engaging with our audience on the web in the future .

In the meantime we’ll continue to let you know here on the blog what’s been on, what’s coming up and also how to find out more about certain programme items that have been featured on the show.

You can also still leave comments and discuss issues that interest but if you’d like to contact the programme directly you can always e-mail us at

We’ll keep you updated ….watch the space!

So,  if you enjoyed the show yesterday and would like to find out more about any items featured, you might find the following links useful:

1) For more information on the Shining Signing Star book, please search the Action Deafness website

2) If you enjoyed the item about the captioned performance of the Lion King and want to find out about other captioned performances coming up in cultural venues throughout the UK, please follow this link

3) And for more information on the Signing choirs featured in today’s programme, you can have a look at their websites

or read this article,ey/hi/people_and_places/arts_and_culture/newsid_8728000/8728918.stm

And don’t forget, our first programme in the New Year will be aired on Wednesday, the 12th of January on BBC2 at 13.00.

Happy Christmas to you all and we’ll see you back in the New Year!
