Wayne Coyne (Flaming Lips)

Wayne Coyne of Flaming Lips has recorded a video for Rolling Stone explaining their six-hour track. But don’t worry – he only waffles for 23-minutes.

Some Kind of Awesome have the charity cover of The White Stripes’ We’re Going to Be Friends by Bright Eyes and First Aid Kit.

The Rapture swung by Spin’s offices and played a few songs – which you can now watch on their site.

Have a look at the video for Jack White’s latest protégées – JEFF The Brotherhood. The White Stripes man has produced the track, called Whatever I Want, while the film is directed by his Dead Weather band mate’s (Jack Lawrence) wife, Jo McCaughey.

Bon Iver and iTunes seem to have become friends again, as Justin Vernon has put together this playlist on the Apple site – including Fleet Foxes, Bob Dylan, Don Williams and more.
