Kasabian

M83 have used their official site to advertise for a new member. The successful candidate must be a multi-instrumentalist, who ideally has used Ableton before – and lives in LA. Could it be you? More here.

To launch – aye – their new album, Kasabian played their new record in a Boeing 747 in front of 200 fans in the band’s hometown, Leicester. Head over to Vevo and watch them perform the tracks from Velociraptor!

The Manic Street Preachers have the video for the first track off their forthcoming album, National Treasures. It’s a cover of The The’s This is the Day – have a peak on YouTube.

Dance music is still getting to grips with the sad passing of DJ Mehdi, and amongst the hundreds of tributes being posted online is this mix uploaded by Ed Banger by Feadz in his honour.

The Knife have made a Spotify playlist called The Knife/Inspiration. Highlighting a number of the female artists who have helped them along their musical paths – have a listen here.

Adele has covered Bon Iver’s cover of Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me, when she wasn’t ill and performing in Manchester. Have a watch here.

And if you want to be part of Daft Punkwatch this.
