Digital Digest: Sigur Ros, Factory Records, Feist and more
Well there’s weird, mysterious video which bands have been releasing of late and then there’s this from Sigur Ros. Called Inni it turns out its a trailer for a film which is going to be premiered at the Venice Film Festival as a "surprise film event." Filmed by Vincent Morisset, it is thought to be a product of their live shows.... But we won't find out until it's shown at the festival which kicks off at the end of the month. Factory Records are set to release a two-disc retrospective album called FAC. DANCE. It’ll actually come out on Strut Records and feature 24-tracks taken from their back-catalogue which kicked into gear in 1978. Full tracklist at Data Transmission.

Bibio’s remix of Gotye’s Somebody I Used to Know is getting some love from the likes of Song Operated and Inertia Music, and NME where you can download it for free. The video for the original has surpassed 1.75-million views on YouTube and even Lily Allen and Hollywood A-Lister, Ashton Kutcher, have tweeted about it.
Fame Magazine have a free download from Everything Everything which they have decided to give away in light of their Mercury nomination – and it’s the original demo of their track MY KZ UR BF which was initially titled Airstrike on Your Forehead.
