It's Your Birthday!

Production Sandy | 22:26 UK time, Wednesday, 29 July 2009

It was Target's birthday today! so we had to show him some love and get him a cake before the show.

Shout out to everyone who sent in their birthday messages to the show. In the words of Target "it's been emotional people".

Until next time

Production Sandy | 22:29 UK time, Friday, 24 July 2009

It was my last day today. It has been a fun week.

The highlights for me were the So Solid Crew interview, Roller Skating and playing my new freestyle!

Radio presenting is kind of cool, it's good to see what goes on behind the scenes!

Until next time...

Oh and check out my 2 minute mixing lesson from Target.

Day four...

Producer Helena | 22:19 UK time, Thursday, 23 July 2009

Yes... Today was funny... roller skating was cold.. Target spent most of his time on the floor though lol.

See more pics here and check the vid!

Tomorrow is my last day... It's been going well so far. I gave the people an insight to what I'm listening to right now.

Last day tomorrow...Ironic will be passing through.

Day three...

Production Sandy | 23:42 UK time, Wednesday, 22 July 2009

Progression is essential.

Interviewing Harvey and Neutrino was very inspirational...

They had a lot of positive things to say, and gave me a better understanding of the things they went through whilst living the super stardom life style.

More over, Target is spinning the correct songs to keep me going...So the week is flying by!

Production Sandy | 22:06 UK time, Tuesday, 21 July 2009

It is not as easy as you think lol. But I am still enjoying it. I'm looking forward to the events coming up later on in the week.

Hear today's show

I think by Wednesday I'll be fully used to this hosting stuff!

Mr. Munk

Chipmunk's taking over!

Production Sandy | 23:31 UK time, Monday, 20 July 2009

It was my first day hosting on the radio and... I LOVED IT!

It's kind of different presenting rather than being asked questions or talking about a forth coming project. I'm looking forward to the rest of the week.

Target's pretty cool too! lol

Giggs ft Mike Skinner Slow Songs Video World Exclusive!

Production Sandy | 18:34 UK time, Thursday, 9 July 2009

Last night I went to the official wrap party for Giggs and Mike Skinner's new video "Slow Songs" (I had to represent for the Jam team). They hired out a 200 seat cinema in West London for all of us to watch the video.

Being apart of the Jam team I had to get the exclusive. So, I put on my Brummie charm, had a chat with Giggs, Mike Skinner and twisted Ted Mayhem's arm and got it! So, we're proud to bring you the World Exclusive video for "Slow Songs"!

Oh and check out Mike Skinner's vintage shades and jumper...I think I need to go shopping with him!.

We love Dizzee

Producer Helena | 20:07 UK time, Thursday, 2 July 2009

We've gone a bit Dizzee mad this week on the Mistajam show.

We played Dizzee's set from Glastonbury, and Jam had the world exclusive play of Dizzee's new track 'Holiday' - we reckon it's gonna be a massive summer tune - check out the clip below!

Drake - Best I Ever Had (Video)

Post categories:

Mistajam | 12:25 UK time, Thursday, 2 July 2009

We've been going on about Drake at 1Xtra for what seems like ages and finally it seems that big things are happening for the Canadian rapper slash actor slash singer. He's dating Rihanna, he's officially signed to a joint venture between Cash Money, Universal Records and Lil Wayne's new label Young Money and he's due to feature on Jay-Z's next single. Oh, and he's roped in Kanye West to make his directorial debut on the video to his smash single 'Best I Ever Had':

Is Drake set to be the next big thing or will be be another Papoose?
