2012 Voting: Scoreboard and analysis

It's fair to say that Eurovision 2012 was filled with a host of memorable moments that, well, only 'Eurovision' can really deliver...

Four "douze points" for Albania's, hmmm, unique song. Sweden's Loreen nearly choking to death on that fake snowflake during the Jury Final, and let's not forget that crazy foot dance from Malta! Anyone managed to master that yet? I think we'll have it by Eurovision 2013.

Having just about recovered from it all, let's recap on the results from Eurovision Week...

GRAND FINAL: COMBINED JURY/TELEVOTE RESULTS

Semi-Final 2 - Bulgaria, Croatia, Portugal, Georgia, The Netherlands, Belarus, Slovenia, Slovakia.

VOTING INFORMATION

Since 2009, the voting system at the Eurovision Song Contest has been made up of 50% televoting (members of the public watching at home and ringing in to vote for their favourite country), and 50% votes from separate country juries based in each of the participating countries (made up of musical professionals).

The National Jury votes were cast after watching the performances of the 2nd dress rehearsal on the evening of Friday 25th May.

So that is how Sweden climbed to victory, being top of all voting tables. The dates for the Eurovision 2013 have not yet been confirmed although it is looking like the song contest will take place on May 14th, 16th and 18th. Of course, when we find out any information regarding this you will be the first to know.
