EastEnders has won Best Soap with a Black Cast or Lead in the Birmingham Black International Film Festival's Music, Video, and Screen Awards (MVSAs). This was chosen by the public. Thank you to everyone who voted!
Congratulations also go to Chucky Venn who won Best Actor.
He was in a hotly-contested category which included Ashley Walters for Inside Men, David Harewood for Homeland, and John Boyega for My Murder.
Take a look at what's coming up in next week's episodes.
The customer is always right. Except when they're not. Especially when Kimberley is cooking...

Emotions run high
If there was a line, Joey and Lauren have just jumped over it with both feet... The pair can't resist each other and this week are set to share a kiss (or two!). What will the rest of the Brannings think?
The Butcher's are back...
Take a look at what's coming up in the week commencing 29th October.
Joey keeps an eye on his drunk cousin when she decides (once again) to drown her sorrows in the R&R. After walking her home, Lauren moves in for a kiss and it looks like Joey doesn't mind one bit! We have a feeling there are a few people who will though!
Have you missed her as much as we have?
After taking a break to work on her memoirs and present the BBC One documentary 'Respect Your Elders', June Brown is set to return in January 2013.
Walford has sorely missed our gossiping laundrette legend... well she has been an Albert Square resident since 1985! Dot will come home shortly after the Branning family are blown apart following an explosive Christmas...(duff duff...etc).
Looking forward to her return, Executive Producer Lorraine Newman commented: "Dot is one of the EastEnders best-loved characters and Albert Square hasn’t been the same without her".
In 2011 the B&B burnt down and Kimberley, Denise and Patrick lost everything. Kimberley has until 5pm today to read, sign and post new insurance documents. After the last time, surely she can do it?
Check out episode two of 'The B&B - Kim's Palace' now...
Pop back on Friday 26th October for the third episode!
Down in the dumps
Why the long face?
As he's sticking around in Walford, AJ decides he'd better get himself a job. Being a mechanic, there's really only one place to go - The Arches. But when he sees the state of the place, will he think about changing professions?
From tonight's EastEnders... OH REALLY, DENISE!?

This week on EastEnders. Wedding bells ring.... but will both grooms make it to the altar?
Ed Sellek returns with his latest look at life in Walford. This time Max and Jack have a heart to heart about being watched.
Ed will return in November with Easties strip number six. Meanwhile, why not check out strips 1-4?
Take a look at these pics for the week commencing 22nd October...
Lucy lures Joey to the playground with her feminine charms and then swiftly handcuffs him to a metal flower! She leaves him there to think about his actions, but Lauren takes pity on him and sets him free. The pair share a 'moment', but Lauren quickly breaks the mood!
Pop back on Tuesday for more spoilers!
Here's the first episode in our new spoof reality-documentary series of 'The B&B - Kim's Palace'.
The latest guest to stay at Kim's Palace has requested not to be disturbed. This is something that Kimberley can't quite grasp...
Pop back on Friday 19th October for the second episode!
But things aren't ever that simple when you live in Albert Square... there's a Danny-shaped shadow which looms over the union of our Chryed.
Can the happy couple stay that way? We hope so... Now, we must give Zainab a call to find out where our invitations have got to... Syed's not answering our calls...
Know your place
The happy couple
Guilt-stricken Syed reveals his liaisons with Danny to a horror-struck Christian. The result? A blazing row. With the punch up, row and Zainab’s fussing (who would have guessed it?!), will Syed and Christian manage to go through with the wedding and get the happy ending that they deserve? Or will everything that’s happened recently just prove too much?
Here's another sneaky peek at things to come in the week commencing 15th October.
Syed confesses that he's been having doubts about the wedding (good timing Syed!). Christian tells him that he will wait for him at the Altar, but that Syed should only come if he truly loves him. Christian's face fills with hope as Syed arrives, but just as the music starts, Syed freezes... will he make it down the aisle?
Check back on Tuesday for some more spoilers.
EastEnders has been nominated in four categories at this year's Birmingham Black International Film Festival's Music, Video, and Screen Awards (MVSAs).
It's been quite a year for Jean Slater. Michael and fiance Janine put Jean on an emotional rollercoaster with their dastardly ways, but through it all she still managed to be a friend to those most in need, counselling Shirley, Jay and even Michael!
Now it seems that actress Gillian Wright's hard work has paid of, as she was rewarded Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards. We managed to grab her for an interview on the big night.
In the midst of wedding planning, heartthrob Danny makes moves for Syed, and he gives into temptation. What does this mean for Christian and Syed? And will anyone spot Danny and Syed’s very public display of affection?
What a mug
Derek lets the apple-of-his-eye Alice out of his sight and she gets mugged outside The Vic! Lucky for her, a knight in shining armour Ray is close by to come to her aid. Derek angrily blames Tanya for making Alice look like a ‘dogs dinner’, but will he be made to eat his words?
