Welcome to the new UK version of the BBC College of Journalism website.
For the first time we have brought together our website and the wealth of material from our sister colleges in the BBC Academy - the Colleges of Production and Technology - to make it easier to find a wider range of useful, relevant and practical content.
The site, which with its new reactive design works on mobiles, tablets and PCs, also hosts news of the Academy’s wider activities including events and initiatives. A dedicated Work in Broadcast section offers more in-depth feature material for anyone wanting to further their career in the industry.
If you are subscribing from outside the UK you will continue to be able to access the site you are familiar with. It will continue to be updated with fresh material and new blog posts as it always has been.
We will be launching lots of new films in the autumn - for example, on investigative journalism, TV packaging, off-diary reporting and multimedia journalism. We have a series that looks behind the scenes at how the BBC reported the Royal Birth.
The new UK site is still a work in progress. It will evolve over the coming weeks before a more formal launch in September. I hope you enjoy it.
