Folking Good Singing.

Post categories:

Little Chris | 09:01 UK time, Wednesday, 20 June 2007

Hello Blog Readers.

This morning Dom & Dave gave a somewhat amazing performance as their alter-ego FOLK FACE.

Folk Face were helping us giveaway a pair of tickets to Glastonbury and they really, really got into the act. I thought it'd be damn well rude not to share this bit of video with you.

So there you go, Dom and Dave return to our ears as Folk Face, creating music to make you smile. I'm a big fan of Daves nose flute.. you just don't get them enough on music these days.

If you're lucky enough to have tickets for Glastonbury have a good time, don't forget your wellies. If you haven't then be sure to listen to Radio 1 all weekend to hear all the good stuff, without getting wet and muddy.

Best outfits I have ever seen in my life! Is it me or does the show just get better and better?! Lets hope the whole crew are back on Monday!!

Comedy songs are never that funny
Your comedy aim is so not on the money
Who wants to hear jokes retold more than once
You'd have to be some sort of big stupid dunce
See how contrived the comedy is
Especially from those who're not in the biz
Of being a comic, a pro at the game
Bill Hicks never sang cos he wasn't lame
The Benny of Hill, and Dolce of Joe
Were comedy songsters, no, no and thrice no
Calling yourself a comedy name
Will surely bring you all the wrong sorts of fame
Renowned as a plonker, like Blunt you are dire
Your tunes are a sham, the jokes uninspired
It's not really comedy, not really song
It's far, far, far worse than that one 'bout Ping Pong
So many great comics who never did sing
And lo, they're the ones who receive all the bling
The accolades bright, the laughter unbound
For they never went near a chorus unsound
So cease and desist, I plead with this letter
For Dom, we all know you could do so much better
