Picture of three actors from Being Human at a script read through

That’s right, filming has begun in Barry Town for the fifth series of Being Human. To quote Toby Whithouse, “this joke about the vampire, werewolf and a ghost living together has got way out of hand.” It’s so marvellous to have everyone back together and it’s like we’ve never been away. Damien and Michael have already been singing mega-mixes and are as handsome as ever (I checked). Phil John and Daniel O'Hara are back directing and the little Being Human family is as close-knit as ever.

We’ve got some new peeps on board, too. There’s the beautiful Kate Bracken, of course, who’s now with us full time as a bona-fide member of the gang. She’s funny, she’s kick-ass and my goodness is she cheek-boned. We also have new Producer, Polly Buckle, at the helm of the ship being brilliant (and frankly so much like Phil Trethowan that nobody’s noticed the difference. Least of all Phil Trethowan.) Meanwhile, Phil has seamlessly stepped up to being one of our Executive Producers and – get this – he’s started wearing blazers. That’s right. Blazers.

Of course, I’m not allowed to give you spoilers, but rest assured that we have got So Much Good Stuff coming your way this series. We’ve got bits that will make you laugh! We’ve got bits that will make you cry! We’ve got bits that will make you jump! We’ve got bits that will make you drool! We’ve got puns! We’ve got thrilling guest stars! We’ve got exciting new talent! We’ve got a new place of work! We’ve got really scary threats! We’ve got flashbacks! We’ve got exclamation marks!!! We’ve got it all!

There are also lots of plans for your online content, too. We’re already on the case of devising some fun things For Your Eyes Only. Be excited.

Finally, what kind of editor would I be without a little shout out to our amazing writers? Toby, Toby, Toby. Wonderful Toby. Isn’t he brilliant? Well, he’s as brilliant as ever. Adding to our team this year we’ve got (relatively) new talents Daragh Carville and Sarah Dollard who are both funny, funny, funny… and a little bit twisted. And there’s Being Human stalwarts Jamie Mathieson and John Jackson. Based on previous form, you can expect the usual depravity and hilarity from them.

So there you go. Series Five scripts are brilliant (even if we do say so ourselves), the talent from cast and crew is HUGE. Expect big things.

I'm so pleased that Daragh Carville is writing an episode. His play 'Regenerations' for BBC Radio 3 about a Doctor Who convention in Northern Ireland is excellent https://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Who-BBC-Plays-Audio/dp/1846070449/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349110117&sr=8-1

Hello everyone....good to see a new blog post up. Stunning pic of our heroes and interesting blurb for us to mull over.

Huge congrats to Michael Socha and partner Faye....wee Elis Michael Socha looks cute as a button!

Think I saw the new online team ( one male, one female) outside HH in late Aug when they were being introduced to the cast...so, a belated hello to you both! ( also saw in you in 'that' lively place the following day...you know the one...lots of children and teens...but it was a miserable morning and you looked like you were getting soaked so again I lost the opportunity to say hi!) Would you care to tell us your names ?

    ShoePigeon and Kate........interesting thoughts.

  • Comment number 24.

Right let's see if this works...
Yes! It works! Very pleased as for the last week the other blog hasn't been letting me post D:

    Anyway... Hello!
New Post! Yahoooo! And it's a long one too. Which just makes it ever so more brilliant. And that picture! Best ever photo of the three in my opinion. :)

And congratulations to Michael for his new baby, Socha JR. Aww. :) I hope Michael's learnt something about looking after babies after acting with the little Eves last year!

And who else wants to hear one of their mega-mixes? :D

'There are also lots of plans for your online content, too. We’re already on the case of devising some fun things For Your Eyes Only. Be excited. '

Oh, I AM excited. So very much so. It looks like it's going to be one awesome autumn (or 'fall' for those across the pond!) and winter for us bloggers.

So, to echo what 6 other people have said: I can't wait!

I'll try to post another up soon but incase the blog is being annoying AGAIN you may be waiting a while. ;) Even as I'm typing this up I don't know whether it'll work. So here goes...

Wooo new blog post! Thank you mystery new blog editor!

I love the feeling of excitement that comes with a new post, even when it's not new info or content, just knowing that someone's there behind the scenes and thinking about blogging again makes me happy :D

  • Comment number 28.

    Ohhh new blog!!! :-)

First of all I'd like to congratulate Michael for the birth of his little boy. :-)

I'm glad that someone else noticed the 'new place to work' , if we're talking about Tom and hals workplace, where do we reckon they'll work? I'm guessing the hotel that they meet captain hatch.
I really want to say that I love the pic of our trio. :-)

I know that we have new bloggers since I've been busy (starting sixthform) so I'd like to say a huge hello. *leaves cupcakes* If you're on the darkside (twitter) then I may see you over there. My name is @lauren_1701.

I really can't wait for the new series now. And to meet our blog master/mistress soon.

  • Comment number 29.

    Hurrah!!! Shiny new blog.

Thank you mysterious BH Insider (maybe not so mysterious if you're on the darkside).

Lovely picture of our new trinity and lots of little nuggets to get (even more) excited about for series 5.

I found myself today saying "how did it get to October already?" now I'm saying "why can't it be February yet!".

  • Comment number 30.

    New Blog Entry!

    *Mini dance around the laptop*

phew, that exhausted me! Nothing else to say or add, sorry people. Just had to celebrate the new blog!

  • Comment number 31.

I can see a typo ... There are two "l's" in marvellous!!!

Also wanted to add my congratulations to Michael Socha and his partner Faye on the birth of their gorgeous baby boy Elis. As someone wrote in a birth card after my son's birth "now the fun begins" and oh boy no truer words were spoken

  • Comment number 32.

    Yay the Blogs back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOORAY!

Ooh sounds exciting, especially the bit about online content!

Only what, 4 months to go? :D

  • Comment number 33.

I'm beyond excited - I'm giddy! What a week this is turning out to be! Baftas yesterday - I know, but I had fun - Michael Socha and lovely Faye have a beautiful baby boy today - and now a new blog post. Not to mention what is coming this weekend at the Entertainment Media Show in London - and then Bloggers going down to Cardiff. I don't think we've ever had such a busy year!

Hello BH Insider and welcome to the Blog.

That was such a well-written piece - I feel as though you have known us all for years! You certainly hit the right buttons there... Because we lurve the Backstage vids and gossip - so thanks! (You sound like Laura Cotton, by the way...so if you are NOT Laura Cotton - that's how good you were!)

Chuffed that you said about our new writers, Daragh and Sarah and great to know that the other writers will be back too. I'm so excited to see what they have all written and all the new quotes that we will be quoting next!)

We know that the talent from the Cast and Crew is HUGE! But sometimes I wonder if we are the only ones. Let's SHOUT about it! Especially to the BBC and BBC Three and anyone else who will listen! I love it when SciFi Mags write up an article about a blog post - and not the other way round - we get a blog post that has already been in the media.

So this year - let's knock 'em dead! Literally!

And in other news... Ewan has sent smoke signals from the dark side to say that his internet is not all it should be.... either that or the full moon last night played havoc. x

  • Comment number 34.

So happy! The blog is back! Thank you, thank you, thank you kind blog person!

And massive congratulations to Michael Socha on the birth of his baby!

  • Comment number 35.

Oh - and forgot to add. New chapter to my fic is up! Otherwise known as, "Werewolves after a Transformation".

Thanks to all who've read and/or reviewed! Hope you enjoy! :)

  • Comment number 36.

    Oh my goodness me!

I just went over onto the dark side and asked lalscotton if she did write this Blog Post - AND THE LADY FROM DEL MONTE SAID 'YES'!!!!!!!!!

    Chuffed? Me? Oh yessssssssss!

Lalscotton said that she is covering until they find a new Blog Master/Mistress.

I never thought I would ever say this - but..... I hope they take a loooooong time! If EVAAAAH!

Thank you so much Laura! Your're the BEST!!!!!!

(The more exclamation marks - the better - top tip)

  • Comment number 37.

Hello hello hello! Nice to see everyone! Thanks Laura C, huge thanks, for unlocking the doors and letting in some light. Thrilled with all the cool stuff we have to look forward to.

Adding my congratulations to the pile already assembled for baby Socha and parents.

  • Comment number 38.

Hi blogsters. Does anyone know if filming will still be happening between 15 and 18 October? I have a few days spare and am considering going to Cardiff/Barry myself.

  • Comment number 39.

*Leaps onto blog sofa waving tulips and cupcake boxes*

YAYYYYY!!! New blog post!! Really, really, REALLY had started to think we'd been forgotten about! We don't have to give our secret knock on the dodgy panel in the back door of the old post 'Season 5 announced' anymore!
We can admit to the world - we're allowed in!

Welcome, little baby Socha - your pic on the darkside looks well cute - x x - two little kisses for you

And Laura Cotton! *blows kisses* you star!
    *bows to temporary blogmistress Laura*

Sorry, I'm so excited about the new blog I can't think of anything sensible to write at the moment! Only 4 months to go to the new series! (we think)
Does anyone else think that this year has flown by?

Wowee!!! *girly squeals* so many amazingly good things to come in the new series! I rather like the 'bits that will make you drool' sentence. *loses concentration - something about chairs and straps* ;))

Thanks Laura!! Great post! Soooooo excited!! Woo hoo!!

  • Comment number 40.

What about Daragh Carville's mysterious and extremely teasing three little words about his episode on the dark side "HE WILL RISE" .

We've had this before haven't we, but who, who who?

  • Comment number 41.

    @please-not-temporary blogmistress

    good afternoon!

    Betting season Grand opening:

'he will rise': the real baddie and
    - it is one of the original vampire Asian brothers. 3 cupcakes
    - it is a totally new sort of supernatural. 5 cupcakes
    - it is a relation of Van Helsing! and/or the big boss of the MiGs! .10 cupcakes

  • Comment number 42.

    Afternoon bloggers :)

This may sound a little predictable but hey I'm throwing it out there.....the last time we saw the 'he will rise' thing it was accompanied by a picture of Hal.....I still think that they are reffering to evil Hal rising again!!!

I for one hope so! I'm dying for some evil Hal action!!

  • Comment number 43.

    42. I'm with you on wanting to see more of the evil Hal, and our new temporary but hopefully permanent blog mistress did say there would be more flashbacks in this series.

Either that or a dead blast from the past is going to turn up. (What about Ivan - he wasn't staked was he.)

  • Comment number 44.

Initially I wondered whether the "he will rise " pertained to Cutler but sadly I don't think that's the case any longer. I don't think it pertains to Hal either. Maybe he'll be tempted maybe by ambitious vampires but I don't think that he will. At least I hope not. I think it's connected to Captaun Hatch and/or the Men in Grey. I'm probably completely wrong but at the moment those are my thoughts.

  • Comment number 45.

    Ok - He Will Rise.
I'm with Su - I think they mean Hal.
I don't want it be Hal - I want him to stay 'good Hal' and just see evil Hal in flashback. I still believe we've got to have one vamp who can prove it's possible to stay clean.
As soon as I saw it written on the parchment I thought - 'Hal'.

Obviously I wouldn't say no to a bit of Ivan if it turned out to be him!! Hehehehe - everyone likes a fit vampire, and let's face it, Mr Spitteri surpassed in the 'fit vampire' category.

Tempted by SAINT's cupcake bookie booth tho - I say, put me down for 3 cupcakes on one of the Asian brothers!!

  • Comment number 46.

Ivan won't be back, the concensus is that he was blown to bits in the funeral parlour towards the end of s2 which helped for want of a better description, the Box Tunnel Massacre.

  • Comment number 47.

Helped bring on that should read.... helped to bring about the BTM... That's what happens when you post on your phone

  • Comment number 48.

LOL at ruby :)) can't even get the blog on my phone yet.

Well, Ivan was blown up - but he didn't appear to be in too many pieces - LOL - poor Ivan, I shouldn't be chuckling - I mean, he was obviously dead, but not turned into smoke ie: 'Proper Dead'
so, theoretically, I suppose he could 'Rise'. Although I don't think it is him who will rise.
    Or Nick Cutler. Sadly :((

  • Comment number 49.

    about scrolls:

the problem with the scrolls is that they all started with what I would call 'prehistorical vampire writing'. just like you have hieroglyphs or you look at the evolution of writing on the rosetta stone, or English between old Saxon manuscripts and today's tweets. IT MAKES SENSE; scrolls being very old and vampires considering them like Holy scripts: because they are old and were written as a prophecy. When all of a sudden, you get modern 2012 writing on an antique scroll? Sorry no can do. Whoever did write on it wrote on it recently, vampires included. My cue is that somebody wrote on it just before Stoker was blown to smithereens and after Regus started the whole WarChild scroll business. Plus we have the 'history maker' theme. more next post

  • Comment number 50.

so all in all I agree with you.
The original 'he will rise' relates to somebody who is/has been proper dead and is considered by everybody (vamps included?) as proper dead.
The original comment defines the moment a promise is made and we know this promise is done random: resurrection will happen, has happened as we speak.
    The original made history indeed.

translation: somebody we know dead as proper dead will rise again?

Werewolves do cross their doors without difficulty when they are human, we know from McNair Sr that a werewolf killed as 'changed' does not become a ghost- see Kirby, stays dead - see S3E7 a dead WW is proper dead immediatly.
The WW girl seen by Jaggatt in season 2 was her guilt.

  • Comment number 51.

Ghosts... remain ghosts. Lia was stuck in the corridors, Good people stay in the corridors or move on. Kirby came back because he was allowed to by Eve. Otherwise, no turning back.

Zombies... same as WW, only the oneway road

Succubi... we do not know and we know Yvonne's father was a daemon/devil/who knows? and we do not know what happens to a succubus when he/she dies.

Whuch leaves with only three options

**Human- MiG or living son, descendant of a vampire.

**An other kind of supernatural, not yet seen

**An already dead as in proper dead vampire. We know OOs have a dark angel, rather may have a dark angel...

  • Comment number 52.

@ SAINT - Lloyd saw her too tho, when he was in the chamber. Was that his guilt too? Cos we don't see him again afterwards - I always thought she'd 'done for him', so to speak.

And is anyone else watching 'Wolf Blood' on CBBC? (my excuse is that I have children!) Can't remember his real name, but the bloke who played Lloyd Pinkie is the teacher in it!

  • Comment number 53.

If Ivan is an OO as per TW...

we have Ivan, Snow, (sorry, not Hettie even if she is an OO and survived the explosion she is still a she) and hee hee
    Griffin and, and ... Wyndham!

    For Cutler, sadly,being a newbie 1950... he can't have a dark angel.

All the above, just so they know at Touchpaper/TW mansion/BH towers:

the bloggers are not the owners of decrepit neurones...

  • Comment number 54.

He Will Rise might mean Milo, has anyone thought of that?

His time has come, after waiting in the shadows for so long.

As Adam would say "What do you think of that?" ;))

  • Comment number 55.

Lloydd was a nasty character, the Nina's shower scene was 'rough'. I concure with you Guilt was important. I am not ruling out that contrary to Nina, the WW girl knew Lloyd was a peeping tom. As for not re-appearing, well The MiG must be called in!

  • Comment number 56.

the original He will Rise is specifically related to a resurrection, Lazarus. Someone who is officiially proper dead, buried and who has stayed so many days in his grave. he will rise is related to someone we know, who is dead.

Milo, bless him, is alive, and well.

  • Comment number 57.

LOL 'bless him' - he's too big and scary to bless!!
*runs and hides behind blog sofa*
but I get your drift :)

couldn't it mean He Will Rise to power though?

if I don't answer til later it's cos I have the joys of the school run in a while ;)

  • Comment number 58.

54: I don't think it means Milo, he wasn't in the blast so we assume he's still alive anyway.

I think it means Mr Snow. Or i HOPE it means Mr Snow. He'll have load of vamps who can bring him back Herrick style

  • Comment number 59.

54 I think if it was Mr Snow there might have been something going round on the rumour mill by now. Don't think it is Milo but do hope he's in the next series cos he's got a lot of potential (and looks pretty good too!)

  • Comment number 60.

The problem with the He Will Rise , is that it can be read in many tangentialities...

rising to the occasion: Cutler, who was seeing himself as an history maker and writing a graffiti on the Hallowed Grounds which are the scrolls. He being Nick Cutler as I will show you who is CutlerNickCutler, you -numerous modern 2012 expletives-Old Mr Snow- This Cutler is now proper dead- yet made history because he showed Annie that one could self sacrifice in order of a greater good- which she did later. yes, paradoxal but then...

He will rise: somebody we know naught about yet

He will rise: an OO we know who is proper dead as far as we know or Herrick if his smile has nothing to do with it. What a terrible smile he had when he got staked.

  • Comment number 61.

I think in Series 5 - regarding "HE WILL RISE" - we will actually never know - I think we may see a few candidates for the job - and left in suspense as to who gets the job at the end - I'd love that best of all - as I've always said - we need to end a series (especially this series) with more unanswered questions than EVER!

But my candidates for 'HE WILL RISE' are:

    Mr Rook
    Captain Hatch
Tom - like this one especially...
A Human Being - like one of Alex's brothers

(Look - I'm sorry but Mr Snow, EW and Cutler are TOAST!) Jeez - sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind... But hey - you can dream... :)

  • Comment number 62.

Yay!!!!! *runs around the Blog hugging things and jumping for joy*
Its so nice to be back in here properly without having to sneak in :)
Congratulations to Baby Socha and his mummy and daddy!
Not only is that picture fangtastic but I'm so excited about series 5 now!!! :D

I'm off to have a read of the previous posts (and I'm sorry for all the exclamation marks but this is great news!)

  • Comment number 63.

I conced you Cutler is indeed toast; beside he is not an OO and only OOs can have dark angels or know about the dark angel recovery system.

To imagine Snow without a dark angel or a few OO vamps w/o such safeguarding is not logical. Do not forget a 'middle-managerial rank' vamp like Herrick was able to come back after having been partially eaten and turned into mince meat by George not to mention some body parts being buried and left to become the favourite meal for a few worms, insects and other maggots...

Now, we have Hal who says - is he reliable to even vamps do not survive explosions or is it fire? Regardless, we have and yoou are right on : we have two ways to die as in proper dead regarding vamps.

  • Comment number 64.

Explosion/fire as in Stoker/B.Edwards and I think this is an equivalent of staking: fire causing same ash-ending and thus proper-dead situation.

WW ending and ... and you may come back.

Question remains: can an OO be revived from staking? I mention that because nowhere we have been told Cara was Herrick's dark angel. Though she said he was her dark prince. Dark bride? angel?

Until ther Kirby episode, we all thought ghosts did not come back. yet Kirby who never was a ghost as such was able to leave his corridor and go-a-haunting HH. Yet Lia was not able to do so!

Is there something fishy in the explanation given by Kirby and Eve; who knows?

As a result: we have ghosts or assimilated ghosts by proxy who can cross their doors or somebody's door back just like we have vampires who do come back as Herrick. On a similar level? both supernatural species have seen the Men with Sticks and Ropes unlike the live WW who reportedly can't become a ghost and can't come back

  • Comment number 65.

Where does this lead us to?

Some - not all - supernatural species can come back.

If we rule out vampires from BH Past, then it comes as a possibility that the 'He will rise' can be read as
    - through Mitchell' hermetic comment: nobody had done that since 2000years. Was it about Herrick or the original human Lazarus?
    - through some bloggers hoping for Hal to turn bad? as in Big Bad Henry Yorke will rise again?
    - a totally new kind of supernatural will rise.

    What can rise?
A desert djinn can rise through a sand storm.
A mummie can rise from its sarcophagus.
Zombies can rise from their graves.

    Evening all!

I've just popped in to raise a little squeal of happiness at a new blog!

Haha, back to "He will rise" eh? I'm all out of theories unless Hal's been baking lots of bread as part of his rehab...

  • Comment number 67.

    Hello everyone!

Ooh, thinking too much about this "HE WILL RISE" thing makes my head hurt, I think I will just wait and see.

In case any one is interested, I have just posted a new one shot on fanfic, it's called "Blitz"

And before I get rotten tomatoes thrown at me, I will now be getting back to writing the next chapter of "I Do"

    Night night x

It's also been announced via the EMS forums that due to filming committments for 'The Mortal Instruments' movie, Aidan has had to cancel his appearances at EMS this weekend coming. Announcement is via the website. I'm really gutted for those attending hoping to meet him. :(

And everyone who likes reading fan fiction, take a look at Shoe's latest, it's very good! :)

    @blog-mistress. We love you
(yesterday, we were told on the dark side that she looked kindly upon mojitos and cupcakes. Bless her!)
(they must be attending some conference in South America, it has been eons since I was last modded)
(Tragedy! See Ruby's last post. Not-guilty, your honour Pleasure as in Fanfiction)

This is the blog bearkfast room and it is opened. Same arrangement for the food and drink, extensive sofa and plenty of space to hide behind it for the weak-hearted.

Saint...the last time the human Mods were seen, they had passports, sunglasses, some really bright shirts...and a load of luggage...something about a last minute deal to South America? Starts in Bolivia...according to the vamp Mods, it may well end there too...nudge, nudge...wink, wink...When asked why they were winking like a squirrel caught in headlights, they replied; "Well...I wouldn't go there...just in case...you never know who was left behind...buried in paperwork...or in the ground..." Then a very evil laugh as they walked away...

Now...the removal bill for moving to this shiny new Blog...How many cupcakes for moving round the corner?! I'm sure we can rustle up a few bloggers to move the sofa...

    Hello BH bloggers!

I've never done this before, so please forgive if I get anything wrong.

I'm a massive BH fan - have been since series one - and to feed my borderline obsession I have often dipped into this blog. Back in the summer there were comments made about the BBC not knowing how popular the show is unless we tell them. Having decided that I should do just that, the blog closed! Well, here I am now.

Being Human is the only TV series that I have ever bought on DVD, the only TV series that I think about all year round. All those weeks of anticipation for a mere 6 weeks of indulgence....it's not enough! (I've just seen on the web page for Merlin that the first ep is 1 of 13. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Merlin, but 13 eps when BH only gets 6?!!)

Why this obsession? Well...I can't really answer that. But the premise is original, the characters are fantastic, beautifully cast and brilliantly acted and the script writing is second to none with just the right balance of humour (some real laugh out loud moments) and darkness. Episode by episode the storylines are excellent, although I must admit that some of the story arcs have left me bemused. Loved the last series, the best since S1, and with a reinvention like that I can't see why BH cannot run and run.

I think the main key is the characters - they are so engaging. It's a shame that you keep killing them off! Daisy was one of my all time favourite female TV characters, and she was disposed of in a casual throwaway line. Even if she had never made another appearence I'd still have liked to imagine that she was out there somewhere! Same with Cutler - he was just too good a character to last only 1 series. Killing them off really does close the door (as it were) unless you contrive some dubious resurrection which makes us all groan. Like the toxic werewolf blood thing.....(bad, bad idea, but I know that has already been discussed at length). And why don't the vamps wear sunglasses during the day anymore? I thought that was a nice touch. Anyway, this was supposed to be in praise of my favourite TV prog. and to encourage the BBC to recommission, and recommission, and recommission.....Being Human is simply the best TV series around.

    I could go on......endlessly. But I won't.

Good afternoon...er....are there any Mods still here? *spies dropped passport on the floor.* Oh dear.
    Good afternoon bloggers! :)))

Welcome fifi! nice to meet you! *hands over cupcake and plate* welcome to our world!

@MancVamp - I'm with you there - I would totally love He Will Rise to mean Tom! Dear Tom :))

@66 - LOL @ LizzyT - Hal breadmaking - well, it's probably the sort of thing he would do - takes ages, needs to be done perfectly or it won't rise, and he can imagine he's pounding his ancient enemies heads while he's kneading it!!

'Hal's Tasty Scones and Cakes' - hmmm....has a certain ring to it ;)

shall we tell Laura on the darkside?

Nice to see the Mods back too - that boat back from South America must have not been quite up to scratch - they seem in *whispers* rather a Bad Mood ;)

Welcome Fifi. It's agony waiting for the next series, isn't it, and then it's all over so quickly. Good job we've got all these sensible bloggers to keep us going!

Hello fifi and welcome to the Blog. Hope you have fun here and we get the obsession part perfectly...welcome to the club!

I know you said this ages ago but I haven't been on for a bit however YES! I also watch Wolfblood! My excuse is... Well I don't have one I just like this kinda thing ^_^

Hi bloggers, temporary blog-mistress Laura (Very happy with that news!) and the mysterious mods...

First of all, Helloo fifi and welcome to our mad world! Beware, it's like hotel California in here - you can check out, but you can never leave!! :) Muahaha! Very much liked what you said about being human. I agree so very much with all of it!
You mentioned, fifi, about Merlin getting 13 episodes and BH only getting 8/6. Of course, Merlin is only 45mins long whilst BH is an hour. However after some calculations that still means that we get less BH time. :( In my opinion, while I still love Merlin, I think that BH does need more episodes. But, then, we can't change how many episodes are in each series. It's all down to the BBC...

I've enjoyed reading, over the last couple of weeks, about the many journey's that you've all been going on to see the filming. Very, very happy for you all. But also very, very jealous! And I'm glad to hear that all the crew were as nice as ever. We really are lucky to have such fantastic people involved.

Now, I found this AGES ago, even before I joined the blog, the first ever episode script of BH. It's almost undoubtedly been put on here before but for the sakes of those who haven't seen it - here it is: https://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/being-human-s1-ep1

It's a BBC page so hopefully the mods won't kill me!

Finally, for IT at school I'm creating a leaflet based on Being Human. I'll try to post it on here when I'm done :)

    Hi bloggers

There are several people going to Cardiff next week for another set visit and @Woomewithtulips has kindly agreed to collect congratulatory comments for Michael and his partner Faye on the birth of their baby boy, to put in a card to pass to him next week. After all, Michael needs to feel the love too, not just DaMo ;-)

Please put any comments on the blog by Sunday, and head the post "Message For Michael", so that it's easy to find them.

    Thanks to @Woome.

Congratulations to you both on the birth of your baby boy. Lauren's Twitpics show an adorable baby, with absolutely no fur or fangs, which is good considering he was born on the night of a full moon. Lots of love, Nikki xx
