    ooh, first! :D

  • Comment number 2.

ok, so vampires, Hourglass? or death symbol next to another symbol (life and death?) and lovers in that chalice symbol :/ what could it mean?

  • Comment number 3.

Argh, you people are moving too fast. ;) Reposting comment from old blog:

@228: Could be a possibility, but I didn't get the feeling it had anything to do with FW, but that's just my opinion. I guess we have to expect anything. :)

@229: Oh, I never thought Annie was testing him deliberately, that would seem too calculating for her.
But no matter how much self-control she thinks Hal has (and it's sweet that she has faith in him), I would have thought that after the whole Mitchell/BT20 debacle, she would have wisened up a bit and play it safe where vampires are concerned.
She knows what can happen, no matter how much she tries to ignore it, and the consequence should be not to expose Hal to unnecessary risks/temptation.

But I guess Annie is hopeless in that department. Being in denial about certain things seems to be her favourite pastime. ;) I still love her though.

  • Comment number 4.

I never seem to have quite enough imagination for those scrolls...bah...humbug, all of it XD

  • Comment number 5.

I swear if that bloomin Green Box was a person it would have a burnt arm!

Ok so I have no clue.

Death symbol or the symbol for Day/time? To men (human), Vampire, and the symbol which was round the Ying/Yang thing on the other scrolls. Possibly ghost or protector?

  • Comment number 6.

ShowPigeon : "ok, so vampires, Hourglass? or death symbol next to another symbol (life and death?) and lovers in that chalice symbol :/ what could it mean?"
    Hmmmmmmmmmm...*Ponders while stroking wizards beard*
    Gah, I don't know. I haven't spent 400 years with this stuff.
Maybe...hourglass, time running out? Or maybe it's a new era - when you flip the hourglass over again. Maybe?

  • Comment number 7.

Hello Hominid96! *waves from shadows* I know what you mean, it's hard to keep up with the theories on this blog, let alone come up with new ones yourself.

  • Comment number 8.

Maybe the death triangle opposite the other one means ghost? Like dead reflection type thing, the 2 people entwined= friendship and the chalice thing = love
So could be Annie and Mitchell - ghost and vamp friends who fall in love?

  • Comment number 9.

hn..two burlesque-dancers sitting in a martini-glass.....sorry, needs to be less sarcastic.
so if that chalice-shape is protector somebody is protecting friends/lovers...from vampires? protected by vampires?

  • Comment number 10.

6 - Welcome Hominid96! I too had been a lurker for some time before joining this excellent blog only a few days ago.
Aren't the people who create the Being Human World on and offline the greatest?
A big thank you to you all!

  • Comment number 11.

Is this the scroll the FW saw before she died? (i don't know what the symbols are) but a lot of you are saying ghost. The FW dies and becomes a ghost and maybe it was predicted she would go back in time (the little hourglass) and what she did would determine if the vampires or humans live or die? Just a thought, i have no idea haha

  • Comment number 12.

11@halftw naa, the piece of scroll that made FW commit suicide by comrade lookt different

  • Comment number 13.

Scroll 5: a vampire goes to watch two burlesque-dancers and loses track of the time. ;)

Wonder if the death symbol on top of the triangle could represent death to the trinity.
Or if the lines inside the bottom triangle make it mean life? So that the two triangles together mean life and death?

  • Comment number 14.

13-@nerdyalice hihi ^.^ and then he eats the dancers...
maybe the houre-glass-thingy has got nothing to do with death, it just looks similar? Maybe it just means passage of time or something...

  • Comment number 15.

Oh lordy, these scrolls do my nut in. And I'm sure I read somewhere that someone involved in the show says they're "open to misinterpretation" - I do hope they don't all turn out to be a massive red herring cos Regus messed up his scroll-reading - that would be a massive cheat!

  • Comment number 16.

I think these are different scrolls. Regus said the scrolls were like the the holy scriptures or something. Now to quote Cutler "Yeah but I'm sure the Magna Carta doesn't have a nipple on it"
Moving swiftly on, if that's the case, then there's more than one. But FW saw a different piece, as it fit with the other two. (:

  • Comment number 17.

ok not exactly to do with the scrolls but look at Annie's face here! what on earth could have happened? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01dbhd8

  • Comment number 18.

@INTERPRETING FOLLOWIG THE SPIRAL PATTERN discussed on previous scrolls blogs

    a vampire
who had a friend he loved as a brother
we know the shape means friendship, brotherhood

cup symbol could be a way to express friendship
    or sharing a cup?

then the death symbol over a trinity symbol
death or end of a supernatural trinity
    with a fire branch inside?

  • Comment number 19.

17: It ain't called Puppy Love for nuthin' if you get my drift! - I think Adam is in my subconscious.

  • Comment number 20.

17-@ShoePigeon caught Tom "picking his flower" with his new lady-friend ^^?

  • Comment number 21.

not sure bout all these scrolls, what about all the holes in the "parchment" could the vampire scribblers who wrote the scrolls have got a bit hungry and had a nibble.

  • Comment number 22.

If that's a fire-rune inside the houreglass as SAINTIXE56 sugested maybe it's death by fire...or did we have that before

  • Comment number 23.

    @opositiv and shoe

must say that is the very first idea which burst to mind
    look at body langage
tense fingers on door frame, not indicative ffels need to protect herself
yet looks outraged whilst hal attitude is more ok lets tiptoe outside petebding we have noticed nothing

  • Comment number 24.

19,20. thats what i was thinking, could be a slightly awkward moment on sunday :/

  • Comment number 25.

trying to figure out which room they r in, looks like the bathroom, i recognise the door from Daddy Ghoul

  • Comment number 26.

I think the awkward moment will be the unanimous wail/sigh/scream of thousands of fan girls across the nation when Hal gets his date.

  • Comment number 27.

we have a death symbol over a trinity and a symbol inside the trinity

and it starts with the vampire who was in peace , 2 hands symbol of joy, of peace??? happiness because he had a friend
but that friend died and it was the end of the trinity

cant understand the symbol inside the trinity, a larger triangle

  • Comment number 28.

    17. etc Ha! If it is some Puppy Love they've walked in on, maybe it will teach Annie to actually knock and wait for a reply before going into a room. She's always just swanning or rentaghosting in - no sense of personal space!

  • Comment number 29.

maybe it's not the trinity this time but africa and that inside is a giraffe (not that that makes any bloody sense but well...)

  • Comment number 30.

Hello, im also a lurker just deciding to register to come join the community- been following since season 1 but theres so much on the blog now I just can't sit and lurk anymore!

I just wanted to say something about the Hal being Cutler's maker theory in the last post- although this would be a great twist and very interesting, Cutler must be relatively new as a vamp as his whole approach is about being the 'modern vampire' that wants to use media and technology to take over the world- which would mean Hal would have had to have turned him, in his timeline, at least while he was with Leo and Pearl, and is it likely he had a breakdown and gave up on staying clean on blood? I think he would have mentioned it? Or Leo would have?

Also thought the last episode was the best in this series so far, at least for me! Had me grinning all the way through, and I love Cutler's plotting!

  • Comment number 31.

At Shoe its def the bathroom you can see the tiles in bottom right hand corner!!

  • Comment number 32.

    26. i cant wait to see Hal in a museum, he will probably be looking at paintings and skulls thinking, i knew him, i killed him etc. that awkward moment when his date looks at a painting from 400 years ago and says "you know what Hal, that looks a lot like you!"

  • Comment number 33.

Also, thoughts on the scroll- the top left looks like an egg timer to me? Something to do with time? Then the top right looks like a double sided axe. Maybe I'm being too literal but maybe something is a double edged sword or some sort? Cannot figure out the bottom drawing for the life of me!

  • Comment number 34.

(death of a giraffe in africa...that would be like a bag of rice droppig in china *gg*)

    on a different note:
do these scrolls we get on the blog belong together? They all have dotted outer edges and rough edges that look ripped/cut but I don't think they fit together with each other, do they?

  • Comment number 35.

I can't remember who said it but it was said in the other blog post, what if Tom and Alison (?) Have themselves a little were-baby? Another human child of the moon? Or if this one is actually a werewolf...the more interest in that one?
    Thinking out loud again...

  • Comment number 36.

    30. if he was recruited just before Hal left then that would make him around 80 which is fairly young for a vampire (Daisy was still considered a newbie when she was 90ish) and just because a vampire is old, doesn't necessarily mean that they cant get the hang of technology, Ivan was 237 and he had Twitter! however i see Cutler more as Wyndham's boy than Hal's, they're more similar

  • Comment number 37.

36- that's true! Although, Mitchell was hardly like Herrick, so you can't say Cutler was made by Wyndham just because their similar. Either way, we won't know for sure until they meet face to face- which I'm really looking forward to!

  • Comment number 38.

Hal was turned in 1514, full swing of the Renaissance, discovery of the Americas, Magellan circumnavigation, plenty of new things, Galileo, per se muove etc etc

Far from thinking Cutler is a newbie, I wonder if rather he has not kept the broader vision of a man from that ear, i,e, modern thinking yet ruthless in his means to obtain what he wants like Petruccio
Regus at least 400ys old, possibly you can become an OO either because you are asked and you are free to decline; Regus declined because the bloodlust would have impaired on his research
    or you accept
but to become an OO, you need the agreement of your sire; my bet is Jacob or Jakob Cutler was turned quickly after Hal was made but the two quickly fell out. Hal never agreed for Cutler to be made an OO, hence Cutler hopes that by impressing on the others he can get the final say so
Instead of Mitchell rejecting Herrick, we have here the sire rejecting his pupil, possibly for very good reasons
if Hal has a cyclic vampire life, good, peaceful, and bloodthirsty bad, possibly there is a good reason for that cycle, like a snap, a trigger and Cutler would know about it
making Hal go wild would be a way for cutler to hold control over Hal, mighty as he is, Hal rage is the equivalent of a berserker, imagine your power as a vampire if you are the brain which orders a powerful vampire warlord

  • Comment number 39.

Evening All! Evening Mods. Welcome to the blog new peeps blogging for the first time!

Scrolls. Yes the first one on the left is the death sign hanging over the trinity and the symbol of fire is inside the trinity sign - but surely there won't be a fire inside HH? The set cost too must to build to destroy it! Could this have something to do with Tom making bombs, I wonder...

  • Comment number 40.

A couple of people have said that this scroll involves "friend like a brother", "friendship", "protection" etc... my guess:
"To protect him, a vampire's friend - who was like a brother to him - killed him in the ultimate* gesture of friendship, giving the vampire peace at last and ending their Trinity."
We were told that we "know these stories", after all - and I think we all rewatched this one several times. Clue: it reworked the ending of the track "A Wonderful Thing".

  • Comment number 41.

Oh gosh, another scroll. I can see the double axe for vampire, there is a triangle-death symbol but then another triangle underneath it with another symbol in it that I don't know. And then two humans in a cup-like thing. Could the cup thingy be the symbol for womb? I think I need another lie-down and a cup of tea...

  • Comment number 42.

I want to go back and watch the first scenes with Cutler debating with the other vampires why his way of revolution is better than theirs- it seemed to me he wasn't that old (he could still be in his hundreds though) because they didn't listen to him very much? I do get your points though he could be very old, I don't know! Whether or not Hal is actually his maker, I think they're very likely to know each other from earlier in their lives though, so Cutler could know some secret about Hal that could turn him evil?

  • Comment number 43.

I haven't posted on here since before Mitchell died and while I see that many have fallen in love with the new vamp of the show, who I like as well, I still don't understand why it seems like Annie is yet again being blamed for said vamp circumstances or in Hal's case "staying on the straight and narrow" or being frowned upon for not being their "saviors" IMO the whole "please save me" bit is where the vamps create their OWN hell, you can't expect anyone to save you from yourself, even the great Josie (who many see as Mitchells "truelove" which I disagree with) couldn't save Mitchell. Leo and Pearl helped hinder Hal from his dark side true enough, but whose to say that he wouldn't have snapped sooner or later?

I don't mean to offend anyone it's just that I am so tired of Annie being seen as the "Yoko Factor" I think that Annie sees these guys as big bad supernaturals who have powers and who have lived many years so in her mind she must feel like why can't you fight your inner demons and deal with stuff without falling apart....after all she (who is in her mind and in many of the viewers portrayed as insignificant) is suppose to be just an ordinary human who was murdered by her psycho boyfriend and yet Annie had the strength to overcome what happened to her and STILL somehow put faith in men who have shown that they can turn rogue in a minute, I think she underestimates her strength and just feels like those who seem to be "superior" to her are capable of things that she finds easier to conquer.

  • Comment number 44.

Series 4 of Being Human is very poor. Did someone actually write the script or are we talking infinite monkeys/typewriters? It's just plain silly now.

  • Comment number 45.

@43 I'm not sure I'd call Annie's faith in unreliable men could be classed as 'strength'- I think it's just her natural belief in goodness and her faith in people being able to change, which she's shown as part of her character since series 1. She's prepared to forgive quite a lot of people's pasts if they just act like a family, after all.. although I can't say how much of that is loneliness, or denial, rather than good faith?

  • Comment number 46.

44- you know what they say about monkeys and typwriters? They write Shakespear ;)

  • Comment number 47.

    44. please don't come on here just to moan, there is enough of that on the Facebook page, i come to this blog to get away from that

  • Comment number 48.

    OK, my thoughts:
We've obviously got vampire and the other two are new - though we've seen bits of them before. The one on the top left looks to me like death on top of trinity with a third of fire inside. Possibly a reference to the ghost (dead one) being part of a new, divided trinity? The other one is two of the odd ones noone's quite sure about merged together. From the first scroll the one people think is a couple but I was inclined to think ghost as the other symbols were trinity, house, werewolf and vampire. Then thats surrounded by the sort of open sort of closed hands around symbol which is open on the one future woman finds and close on scroll 2 both around a yin/yang-esque symbol. I thought it might be love but thinking about it it might be friendship.
I'm not entirely sure what this one is about.

I've just had a thought though! Sorry for rambling but I had previously thought the scrolls were as follows:
    1) the trinity live in a house
    2) george kills mitchell out of love
    3) Ivan dies in the funeral parlour explosion
    4) BT20

But 2) doesn't fit in with the order of things so now I think 2) is george kills herrick (season 1) so the yin/yang-esque one surrounded in a hand thing can't be love or friendship! Any thoughts because I think my brain's going to explode from this realisation?

  • Comment number 49.

I think Series 4 is brilliant!

That symbol that looks like a womb - I thought that somehow that was the sybol for the Godhead - because if it's not - then that's the only symbol that hasn't been used so far...

  • Comment number 50.

47- @ShoePigeon: maybe we should rethink the hitting-trolls-with-shield thingy? ;)

  • Comment number 51.

    46. nice come back :)

  • Comment number 52.

    49. @MancVamp wasn't Godhead that sun-radiation-rune?

  • Comment number 53.

    50. ???

    AAAGGGHHH!!!! 3 min thing!!!

  • Comment number 54.

Adding to 48 - could this be Herrick's resurection, vampire, weird thing involving death and if that is the symbol for ghost, didn't he trick Annie into believing he was good?

  • Comment number 55.

53- I've suggested to hit the trolls over at fb over the head with a shield (a red one)
That 3-minute-limit is really wrecking havok with answering more then one person at a time, isn't it? ò.ó evil timelimit...

  • Comment number 56.

Can't be Herrick's resurrection, that wouldn't explain the "death+Trinity" rune.
They seem sort of obvious to me, using the key provided in an earlier blogpost... we "KNOW THESE STORIES", remember?
    1) "Once upon a time there was a Trinity - a werewolf, a vampire and a ghost - who shared a house." (Jobs, a house and a TV license.)
    2) "The werewolf killed a vampire to protect his friends." (Sub-basement Showdown.)
    3) "A fire in the house of death was the end of many vampires." (Fun with Semtex.)
    4) "Humans travelling on rails were killed by a vampire." (Box Tunnel 20.)
    5) "To protect him, a vampire's friend - who was like a brother to him - killed him in the ultimate* gesture of friendship, giving the vampire peace at last and ending their Trinity." (Some Shared Bloody Trauma.)

  • Comment number 57.

    Could it be:
    Vampire (known)
Protects/saves (the cup thing) the ghosts (two sticks type thing)
From purgatory (funny mixture of death/time/eternity)

i.e. when Mitchell rescues Annie from purgatory?

  • Comment number 58.

good idea, then the two people in the cup could mean "heir" and the houreglass "resurrection" :) I like that

    56. maybe it's not death and trinity? maybe death and life.

  • Comment number 59.

56- Like what you're saying but I think we're too early in the day for this to be about Mitchell's death.
57- I like! I'm inclined to think the top left one could be purgatory and I didn't notice that it is roughly 8 shaped for time/eternity!
Could be the ghost trapped aswell then.

I reckon we could probably predict the next one as they are telling the story of the past 3 series. Human baby conception coming up maybe?

  • Comment number 60.

    55. Aah, ok, good idea, i think we need a whole warehouse full of red shields on the facebook page :/

  • Comment number 61.

52 - Yes, but it was like a little circle of dots really, so if this is not it - then it hasn't been used yet.

48 - Hiya Lucia, whatever these scrolls are - they are about something that is going to happen in the future - a prophesy.

  • Comment number 62.

Just went to the FB page out of curiosity. Wow, some negative people still around, eh?

  • Comment number 63.

@61: NO THEY'RE NOT!!! We were told that we "KNOW THESE STORIES".

  • Comment number 64.

58- Thanks! But now I think of it purgatory was before Herrick's resurection wasn't it? maybe that'll be next?
61- I think they're setting the scene though. These are parts of the prophecy which have come true.

  • Comment number 65.

I am unbelievably bad at these! I don't have enough patience to work them out! I like that this blog is here to read the comments and other people's deductions, that make a lot more sense than any theories I've come up with! Are these actually parts of the scroll we've seen in the show or are they different ones?

  • Comment number 66.

@57 I like that theory! I have to go but have fun theorising everyone, will have a browse tomorrow and see what I've missed!

  • Comment number 67.

47 - And I agree with Lucia about the 2nd part. I originally thought it was about George killing Mitchell but it makes more sense time-wise that it's about George and Herrick.

Right, enough of this scrolls malarkey (as Hetty would say, I'm too old for all this) - bedtime! Night night!

  • Comment number 68.

60- well...if we line them all up and work our way through maybe not all that many shields, just some time ^^

64- Yeah, but maybe they're not necessarily in the right order?

  • Comment number 69.

Oops wrong post last time! Sorry if anyone's upset!!! meant to say:
@59: BLAST IT that's a ghost symbol within the "protect" rune, I didn't see clearly! Which probably makes you correct (top-left could be "forced crossing to Purgatory"). How are my other four?
@61: They're NOT future - we were told that we "know these stories".

  • Comment number 70.

Said I was going to bed but couldn't resist.

61 - MancVamp - I think the scrolls are prophecy, but from the perspective of the past when the first vamps were created. So the 2nd scroll which we're being shown bity by bit on the blog (so far) prophesied the recent past which follows events from series 1-3.

There are 5 scrolls. The 5th scroll is the war child prophecy which hasn't happened yet in the BH world. Does that make sense?

    DEFINITELY going to bed now!

  • Comment number 71.

65- These are different ones ( although I reckon the actual one on the show is easier to work out.
    67- Thanks!
68- I agree not neccessarily but I think they are because they seem to fit.
69- I agree with your other four!

  • Comment number 72.

@68- 'Yeah, but maybe they're not necessarily in the right order?'

OMG that makes it 10 times more complicated!! haha

  • Comment number 73.

would be nice if the mods at least told us if we get something right ^^ maybe we're way off with some of those new runes...

  • Comment number 74.

The actual one on the show is *much* harder. I can only do *these* with the aid of the glossary and other people on here working out each symbol before I put them together (the symbol for "ghost" appears to be two people facing opposite ways, which threw me for a bit at first - I suppose a ghost is between life and whatever's next, hence "looking at both"...)

  • Comment number 75.

74- I think the one on the show's not that bad, on the left it's easy and straightforward, on the right it's the bit about the nemesis (although I think Regus has misinterpreted the traveller symbol and it's about either Hal's journey to come to the house or the Old Ones coming) and the bit at the bottom is death of the baby saviour leads to... mystery symbol which looks a bit like some of the ones we can't be sure of on here.
I have to go to beddybyes now! See you guys some time soon.

  • Comment number 76.

@71 Lucia_WillowXD We don't have to work out the one on the show, Regus has told us what it means! Or has he got it wrong even after 400 years!? Now that would be funny :D I like your theory stated earlier about the recent timeline of the show, makes perfect sense!

  • Comment number 77.

It could, for all we know, mean that Annie is the Saviour and can't defeat the vampires until the death of the Human Child of the Moon (because she'll be preoccupied and too nice as long as Eve's alive). Maybe Tom and Allison will produce another Human Child of the Moon. Prophecy is twisted!

  • Comment number 78.

@43: I can't recall that anyone on here said that Annie was supposed to keep Hal clean or save him from himself!

Actually a few blogs before we were discussing that one of the differences between Mitchell and Hal is the fact, that Hal DOESN'T expect other people to save him, but that he's very much trying to save himself through routine, staying away from people etc. Yes, he welcomes the support of other people, but he knows that he himself needs to keep himself from killing.

All we're saying is that Annie shouldn't undermine his efforts to keep in control. Which she has done more than once by now. That is a big difference! We're not blaming her for not saving Hal, we're only saying that she should acknowledge that it IS an actual struggle to keep the bloodlust under control. Which she finally has done, now that she has discovered her own darker urges.

Also, you can't really compare her being able to cope with being murdered with suffering from bloodlust. It's not the same by far.

Having faith in someone is fine, expecting them to fight the bloodlust, yes, but it shouldn't get to the point where it is unreasonable. She knows what happened with Mitchell, being idealistic and in denial isn't helping anyone. She'll only get disappointed again.

So it's a fair point, I think, when I say that I don't expect anything of Annie other than to grasp the importance of Hal's routine/abstinence from people. Which I think is not too much to ask. :)

  • Comment number 79.

I think they are different scrolls than the ones in the Eps.

Night, everyone who is off to bed!

There again - the symbol of the two humans inside the womb-shaped thing, could be the twins idea again.

    From the last Blog

    - love the idea that Hal made Cutler.
-agree that it was a very odd thing for Annie to say about wanting to kill again - totally out of character -sooo... there must be a reason, we just can't see it yet.

  • Comment number 80.

Exhausted trying to keep up with the blogs...can't read everthing, so sorry if this has been discussed before...

I have a question about the burn on Hal's shoulder...when the doctor came and Hal was in a tank top, and I agree, probably Mitchell's....no burn....now there is a burn?

  • Comment number 81.

Hmmm.... Thinking about an earlier post- if they are all in order the could be
1 werewolf and vamp friends share a house + become a trinity with addition of Annie
2 werewolf kills vamp- herrik out of love and to protect his friends/family
3 vamps killed in house of death
4 vamps kill travelling humans on train
5 vamp and ghost friends fall in love
Then maybe next we'll have George killing Mitchell out of love- 6
I seem to remember being told we're gonna get 8 scrolls? Not sure though maybe I made it up! But was thinking a scroll per ep :) hmmm
So open chalice may mean love and 'closed' one protection? Sorry I'm probably just babbling now :)

  • Comment number 82.

It's to late in the day to keep on trying to force my brain to have some ideas about the scroll, so I'll grab my teddy-bear and retire to my coffin...train-ride home to my parents tomorrow...I hate train-rides....allways hoping the bloody things are on time X/

@45 I guess I see it as strength, IMO she could have become an evil, vengeful spirit aka Lia (which I can't blame her) after being murdered but she didn't. After the whole Mitchell ordeal she could have completely turned her back on any kind of vamp and decided that they ALL were evil and nothing else but she decided to give Hal a chance and has started to trust him around Eve of all people, Annie is too trusting in people but at least she is willing to give people a chance....if she stopped doing that then she would become the villian IMO.

I wish I could get into all the stuff concerning the scrolls and everything but I'm not into all the analyzing of mythology stuff like most on here are, I got into BH for the emotional pull that the characters bring to the series, all the "which species is going to overtake the world" is not my cup of tea, however I do find it interesting learning about what ghosts, vampires and werevolves are capable of in the series.

Night everyone! Thanks for the interesting reading.

83 - Or maybe a small piece of Kirby has somehow got inside Annie?

  • Comment number 86.

    I'm chicka chicka back!

    Sorry couldn't resist.

WHAT IF this is somehow about Mitchell breaking into CenSSA?
Vampire saves lovers+ghost, and then something. Nope I don't think that works either, just trying to come up with an story that would fit the timeline.

I posted my theory on Cutlers age yesterday but didn't explain very well. 103 previous blog.
*Warning this theory is based on office furnishings, Please feel free to ignore the crazy lady*
But the dates do work out quite interesting,

If Hal turned Cutler in say 1905 in the Edwardian period, that gives him 50 years to lose touch with Fergus. I don't think Fergus had a clue as to who Cutler was or who his maker was, and he definitly referred to Cutler as if he was younger than him.
It also gives Hal and Cutler 50 years together as sire and heir or whatever you want to call it, which would be plenty of time to share stories about monostries in Budapest and other tales from Lord Harry.

Also if Cutler was turned early 20th century it rules out Herrick and Mitchell, only really leaving Wyndam as the other possible maker.
It would put Cutlers age at around 130.

Could be wrong, could be right, thats why I don't do spoilers. I love all this thinking too much!

    shaking hands ans waving halo
can't believe that last year with Inch we have a go eith me having wings and all the trimmings

FUTURE woman acting on them while the boys sleep, well known technic for brainwashing and through statics acting on annie by interfering with her poltergeist powers

@why it was a dream for Hal albeit a long one
in the first part of his dream, he wakes up shirtless despite the burn, even better his arm is burn free then the dracula bride tempts him and he succumbs and wakes up again shirtless; this time the dream is not in sort of black and white but in colour and just as unrealistic, with annie sort of caarying a basket like loading memories and impressing on hal:how comes she can see me? hence yvonne is a supernatural, find what sort in your memory, then sort of being pursued by men, men succumbing to her charms
THE DREAM CARRIES ON, hal sees tom and adam as children, and the adut is supremely indifferent to the kids and the threats they may be
why would tom give a name to stakes he whittles, he cam whittle as many as can be, the werewolf blood does bot burn him, and tom bled a lot more than should be; then it goes weird as in the first dream all it was about was the blood and sex and here we have first and foremost kill the baby and then payment sex anf blood
    something has penetrated his dreams

86 - Yes, reading Spoilers is not fun at all - thinking more fun!

    87 - Saint! *waving back*

  • Comment number 90.

Evenin Manc, Saint et al, enoyed last nights ep, much better than Kirbys.
Adam Still B' irritating .... & .... (annies expletives about him fit well), apart from when he was talking to Yvonne thru the door.

Lots of comments / ramblings but probaly tomorrow apart from:

    - Did anyone think Yvonnes Red eye were far scarier than a vamps? she was creepy!!

    - Did anyone spot TWs cameo?

  • Comment number 91.

90 - Nooooooooooooo! Lord Toby? In it? Where?

I should tell you that last week someone said they thought that Lord Toby was driving the car that killed Kirby - so I asked and the crew said that no - it wasn't.

  • Comment number 92.

    Hi Manc!

  • Comment number 93.

91, Greetings my dear Northerly fiend of the blood.... The Girl Adam was stalking to the bar looked odd and I was almost convinced Adam was going to find out she was a "HE" - reckon it was TW in a Wig hahahaha....

What about Cutler Gardening skills? don't think forensics would be convinced.. still sort of like him. but he'd better not hurt my mate Tommy.

  • Comment number 94.

92 - Hi Susan! Hope you are OK over there and you haven't been blown away by all those horrible storms!

OK - about that burn on Hal's arm - what happened was (are you sure you want to know - Spoiler warning - you've only seen Eps 1 and 2 so far) Tom and Hal had a bit of a fight and Hal punched Tom on the mouth, causing a split lip. Hal was easily winning the fight and then Tom lunged at Hal with his face and sort of RUBBED THE BLOOD FROM HIS LIP onto Hal's arm - thus the burn.
(Do you remember in Ep 1 when George told Tom that Werewolf Blood is toxic to Vampires?)

*sighs* and I had such high hopes for me and Lycan...

  • Comment number 95.

@ manc.. dont go all Ewan on me..... I really did think she would turn out to be a tranny which would've put Adam off eating her..

Dont think Tom deliberatley Rubbed his blood on Hal, Stake him yes! (then regret it) ALSO, when Hal Staked Tom then took the stake out he wasn't a bit concerned about Toxic blood then was he? (or course I knew he was dreaming before)

  • Comment number 96.

Thanks Manc...no worries about the spoilers..I have see all 5 episodes...a kind soul has made them available on ......ummmmm...someplace. lol..

And thanks for the concern, I live in Massachusetts so I am nowhere near tornado country, but we have had smaller ones here on and off...we get the hurricanes and blizzards (we call them Nor'easters) although I haven't have to shovel once this year.

I do remember the fight with Hal and Tom at the pawn shop, but wasn't that episode 2, before the DR came? So we should have been able to see the burn in episode 4?

  • Comment number 97.

95 - Soz Lycan - posted without re-freshing and didn't see it! ROFL! What are you like! Oh, I think she was just Adam's 'type'.

No, I think Tom went for Hal's arm, 'cos then he got away, and scarpered. Hey, that was an amazing scene when Hal stabbed Tom! I JUMPED a mile! Last time I jumped like that was when Herrick staked Mitchell on the doorstep of PH!

  • Comment number 98.

When Hal pulled the stake out of Tom it was clean, overlooked it before but maybe because it was a dream there was no toxic blood to harm Hal, so he didn't have to worry about it.

The fight that gave Hal the burn was half way through ep4 after the doctor had been round.

  • Comment number 99.

@95: He does deliberately rub the blood on Hal. Watch closely.
Re: Cutler and the Hal-in-a-chapel Trick: remember how stories of Mitchell's exploits used to be passed around? "You and Herrick and the girl in the hotel?" ("Tomb service"). If even Seth knew about a not-especially-funny line from the 1930s, I'm guessing that once Hal was out he told the story to everybody and the advice was given to most newbies sooner or later. Either Cutler heard it at Stokers, or he actually thought of it himself (he is a bright vampire, after all).

  • Comment number 100.

    98 - oh thanks Alice!

96 - Wendy came by the blog the other day - she said it was snowing...

Right! Off to my coffin! Night blog! Night Mods!
