  • Comment number 1.

who the *peep* is that ô.o?

  • Comment number 2.

    Oooh who he? Jacob?

  • Comment number 3.

    Who's this guy ^^^^^????????

  • Comment number 4.

Has a bit of an EW vibe, doesn't he?

  • Comment number 5.

He looks like someone you don't want to get on the wrong side of!!

  • Comment number 6.

I think that's gone up an hour early. Did someone forget the clocks were going back?

  • Comment number 7.

Alex doesn't think much of him, going by that look she's shooting him ^^

  • Comment number 8.

@2 Ooh good shout sasha, could be! I wonder if he is friend or foe!

  • Comment number 9.

Alex is looking at him like he might be dangerous. I think he's a bad vampire.

  • Comment number 10.

    Who the didgeridoo is he?

  • Comment number 11.

hmm well Alex looks genuinely scared and we havent really seen that so far (well, a bit scared-angry-confused but not like that) so he must be pretty ...yeah :S

  • Comment number 12.

why is Alex looking at him like that? ooh er. He's wearing a black tie, do you think it's her bother with the dodgy tattoo?

  • Comment number 13.

    7- Maybe he's her brother's tattoo artist? :-)

  • Comment number 14.

He looks like a Kemp sort to me.

  • Comment number 15.

Could he be an official from the afterlife? One of those bureaucrats that comes in to clean up a mess of disembodied ghosts floating around and live babies being carried across the threshold?

Either that or a nasty vamp gets my vote!

  • Comment number 16.

@15 I mentioned before about the possibility of there being a form of policing on the other side and he does look very official!!

  • Comment number 17.

    12 - Nearly a snap there :-)

Could he be a vampire friendly funeral director there to remove Alex's body, perhaps?

  • Comment number 18.

although saying that he has gorgeous eyes :3
@15 , that would be pretty awsome!

  • Comment number 19.

@BBD - could be an AL-careworker, maybe one of the men who had to make a form the last time Annie dragged a living person through the door come to tell her not to bother trying because the "Kemp2145 form is just not ready yet!!"

  • Comment number 20.

    13-@sasha *lol* good idea...^^
12-@brookesey *lol* you and sasha think quite alike, hm?

  • Comment number 21.

    @ BigBadDog and Tenbatsu
yep, he looks a bit like some kind of supernatural detective, do you think?? someone "on the case"?? Annie's case?

  • Comment number 22.

@16. Yeah, you'd think they'd have some sort of clerical or official folks who take care of the newly dead! Wonder if he has a stick and some rope!

  • Comment number 23.

Yep 16 and 17 @ BBD and Tenbatsu its a man with a stick - bet youve got it.

  • Comment number 24.

@21 I think maybe he could have something to do with Annie. Hmmmmm *ponders*

  • Comment number 25.

    @ 20 Opositiv and @ 13 sasha - great minds think alike!
seriously got to go now and feed RL children and partner - back tonight after all the stress of episode 8

  • Comment number 26.

He looks like an estate agent. But then Cutler is a solicitor so this guy could be an vampire estate agent.

Note to Toby: Get a Vampire estate agent in series 5

  • Comment number 27.

@22 I think he does have a stick and some rope somewhere!! If Annie does go full throttle in this episode it may be why he's there.

  • Comment number 28.

Hello Blog, how excited are we?
I've had butterflies all afternoon. Me

  • Comment number 29.

    Re last blog

Great scenario *rofl* ^^ he'd be any dentists wet dream, wouldn't he? *lol*

  • Comment number 30.

Arrrrrggggghhhhh, he's unnerving me! His eyes are following me around the room! He better not be here for Annie!

  • Comment number 31.

    He's Mr Rook

  • Comment number 32.

he looks like he has something to do with her body... i think that there still in the basement anyway.. looks like it to me. :/

  • Comment number 33.

if he was a stockier type of bloke I would say AL bouncer - you know the sticks and rope being the VIP entrance to a club... he could say "if you ain't proper dead you ain't comin' in".... sadly he looks like a little like my old history teacher :S

  • Comment number 34.

    Evening all!

Ooo live blog, exciting! But can't believe it's that time already, not only because I'm not ready for it to be over I just have so much to do before I can sit down and watch the episode! argh! Wanted to give myself over to the blog tonight but it's clearly not going to happen :(

  • Comment number 35.

    @28 Hi Oleta!! *waves*

@30 Please don't take our beloved Annie!! *fingers, toes, legs, arms, anything that can be crossed is crossed*

  • Comment number 36.

wow, i get back from a day out and there are 500 odd posts on the last blog! Stupid RL...

So anything exciting happen on the last blog? i have no time to sift through all those comments, to busy watching "Making History" again and again and again...

So I suppose the BH party is about to begin (164 minutes left), Anyone want a beetroot and tomato juice? i made some this morning, its actually really nice!

  • Comment number 37.

Hello, long term lurker and longer term viewer coming out of the shadows to say he is apparently called Mr Rook

  • Comment number 38.

have you look at this gentleman eyes???

same weird blue as Annie and Alex come to think of it

yes finally one man with a stick unless it is a man with a rope

finally an angel, well if we have daemons, we have angels

and mr angel is not happy

will clear the 'dreadful business' and hint at

'repercussions' 'can't tolerate cheating' and leave

letting our new fab fours as allison is coming back
worry about who the '''' are these peoples who get vampires terrified like lambs can be of tigers

  • Comment number 39.

I read somewhere today and I cant remember where ( news paper??) and there is no way that anyone can confirm anything until season 5 has been put in the bag but...
*****sort of spoiler but I may have dreamt it dont you just hate it when that happens*****************************************************

    ****second sort of spoiler alert*****************************************

That season 5 was going to be like a John Le Carre novel.... Wassat all about unless this guy is a spook. No.. I mean a real Spook spook......

  • Comment number 40.

oooh or maybe he has something to do with FW... i think everyone saying he's from the AL is defo onto something anyway...

  • Comment number 41.

@34 Hi Nic!! *waves* Full of trepidation and excitement for Being Human tonight!! Eeeeeeeeeeeek!!

  • Comment number 42.

oh no, i am not ready for this episode at all.... what will i do with my sunday evenings? What will i do with my life without this blog?!!?

  • Comment number 43.

Half my post is missing! *blog hates me.

Was going to say how much I like all your ideas about this guy being an AL official: A Supernatural Civil Servant, come to sort out the administrative errors caused by:
Annie's refusal to go through her own door, dragging Kemp to purgatory before he was dead, and generally hijacking other people's doors, and coming and going to Purgatory without the proper visas. There may be tax implications...

@yekim-mikey: Aren't all Estate Agents vampire...they are kind of parasitic ;P

(apologies to any bloggers who are Estate Agents :o) )

  • Comment number 44.

@26 Lol @Mickey! Wouldn't that be the absolute worst? A vampire estate agent!

  • Comment number 45.

    @36 Hi Shoe!! *waves*

@38 Angels are a possibility. Maybe Annie is going to ascend rather then descend? *doesn't really want to think about it*

  • Comment number 46.

29 - *coughs* ROFL - can we say that?

BBD - do not worry. He's a funeral director and he's here to clear away Alex's body. Honest! There, is that better petal?

  • Comment number 47.

daemons and angels using earth as a giant three dimentiomal chess game a bit a la star trek and time is one of the variable

when I say daemons and angels, it just means peeps from another plane of reality, passing no judgement

    earth is simply a gameboard
    and the gamers cheat

the supernaturals placed on the board to help win a game, humans being simply the pawns, valueless
did not say my beings were nice

possibly they are very nice in their own world because they have different sets of value, not understadable by our own plane

yes can imagine a very angry angel having a row ar mr snow

you cheat, we stop this party and you pay the rounds at the pub for everyone tonight!

  • Comment number 48.

    well...hasn't gotten modded...yet ;)

  • Comment number 49.

    *waves @tenbatsu:o)
@42, I know what you mean, after today Sunday will revert to being that 'anticlimactic day before work begins again on Monday'.

  • Comment number 50.

New chap on the block: sharp, three-piece suit (I love good tailoring), must be a vampire. Werewolves are definitely not the best dressed supernaturals. He could be a ghost, if he died on his way to work and was wearing his office gear. Could be a funeral director (what is that little pin badge on his lapel???) or a vampire funeral director come to take away Alex' body? All will be revealed...

  • Comment number 51.

Here's the dictionary meaning of Rook

    1. (chess) the piece that can move any number of unoccupied squares in a direction parallel to the sides of the chessboard.

    2. An Old World bird (Corvus frugilegus) that resembles the North American crow and nests in colonies near the tops of trees.

    3. To swindle; cheat.

  • Comment number 52.

Evening everyone! Wow, the bloggers have been busy. Need to catch up on all the comments. Interesting theory about the guy above being a AL bureaucrat. He does look a little annoyed. Wonder what Annie has done this time.
About tonight. I haven't read any theories about it so far and maybe most people don't really care but I've been contemplating whether we will see more of FW/FE on this episode. So far she has only interacted directly with Annie but I would love for her to have a couple of scenes with Tom and Hal as well.

  • Comment number 53.

It would be nice to see Annie going with an angel, it would be a fitting end to her story. We learnt in series 1 that behind the door wasn't "something nice" it was "something else", which is why I've never been sure why we're ok people go, so maybe it's not the whole story and Mr Rook will complete the story.

  • Comment number 54.

43/44: I'm sure there are very lovely estate agents... :=) What about a vampire traffic warden? I'm sure due to the genius of the BH writing team they'd get us to even like one of them!

As for this guy, I think he's there for Annie. I have no basis in fact for it though

  • Comment number 55.

Oh my, this is already moving to quickly for me, no way am I going to be able to keep up tonight! Will try to be around for support group afterwards though, think I might need it! They can't kill Annie! Or Cutler! But especially not Annie!

  • Comment number 56.

@46 Thanks sasha, yeah that is a little better! I've now remembered the scene with Alex in a body bag!

That better be all he's here for! He better not go near Annie! *getting hysterical again*

    ...............and breathe!

    Ok, I'll be fine!

  • Comment number 57.

50 - Had a look at the logo for National Union of Funeral Directors - it's round and that looks as though it is square shaped.

  • Comment number 58.

@53 It makes me feel sad just thinking about the possibilities!!

  • Comment number 59.

Also re Rook the Chess piece

The two rooks are sometimes colloquially referred to as "pigs on the seventh", because they often threaten to "eat" the opponent's pieces or pawns.

  • Comment number 60.

56 - There, there BBD - your voice went all high and funny just then! It'll be ok, honest :-D

  • Comment number 61.

    reposting from previous blog entry

there is only one blog, this bblog on which I am writing

the rest is personal, which can be lovely but is not thr BH blog

    Hello everyone.

    Loved reading everyone's comments.
I've had a lot of questions about other forums/fb sites etc so -

There is no such thing as an 'online support BeingHuman group' anyone who sets up a private group can do so. But it is just that - a private group. The only official Being Human site is this Blog - the official BH fb page and the official twitter account @bbcbeinghuman . The rest is just someone else's ego-trip. They say they are fans, make up your own minds. No they are not axe-murderers. Hope that helps.

    Ice-cream mmmm

  • Comment number 62.

Hi, brand new to blogging on the BH site, so apologies in advance if I repeat what has already been said and hopefully, I wont bore you all too much with my thoughts.

Been a fan since the pilot and always always, always, end up with predictions / thoughts come the final episode. Though none good enough to be spoilers though. Last series. I had a Mitchell and George cage fight confidently predicted, with series 5 being a ‘Search for Spock’ like epic, with the gang trying to resurrect M, Herrick holding the cards with the secret to M’s return and McNair and Tom providing the ‘moody, useful in a scrap with a dark past’ vibe that M brought to the mix. So, with that stunning track record, here goes…

Annie or Hal is the true Saviour. Annie will finally be allowed to blossom into the Avenging Angel we have seen hinted at since her and George raided Herrick’s undertakers parlour.
Or Hal will repent and decide to defend humanity. We still do not know what turned him bad in the unaltered timeline. The loss of Pearl and Leo, going on a Ki’ora bender, who knows?
Either Alex will keep Hal on the straight and narrow or he will be ripped apart by Tom and come good.
Why? Becausemy half arsed theory is, in the last series the resurrected Herrick appeared almost human, returned to the ‘just converted’ stage of being a vampire. Possibly he regained his soul but losing it when he drank and became good old Herrick again.
Maybe Hal will be torn apart, resurrected by he OO's but, this time, choose to reject the Vampire way, having regained his soul. Maybe.
    But probably not.

Annie will go thru Alex’s door. Whether she takes on Annie’s super powered status, don’t know.

Kemp will return from Purgatory to save the human race, sort of.

The Prophecy / War Child is a Vampire mis-direction to give human race something to cling to and survive for. (Because killing something that had hope, only to have it dashed makes it that much tastier….)

    Tom will die.

Mr Snow WILL be a judge on X-Factor and BGT for series 6. (‘First prize, we save you from being one of the herd and you will be young and beautiful forever, like us’ – too good a bit of satire to miss, surely?)

The skeletons in the Han Solo type frieze behind Snow are Wyndham, Herrick and Mitchell….

‘Course, none of the above will happen as LT always throws a curveball and outthinks me.
    But then, that’s why I’m a fan.

  • Comment number 63.

I wonder what that is on his lapel?

  • Comment number 64.

Let's see, pale, bad haircut, creepy eyes - whatever he is, he's up to no good, I guess. And Alex has some kind of 'shall I whack him over the head'-look.

  • Comment number 65.

Erm can you have vampire accountants?

Lol at the way Alex looks like she swallowed a spider

  • Comment number 66.

Blimey! Who the hell is that! Oh sorry, you've all just said that - but it was the shock. 2.30 hours to go and... hey presto! New guy! And I thought we could have a yoga class before... well, never mind.

Saint - that comment on the last blog about the Blog was lovely. *wipes tear*. Here's to the next year.. (or jail....'cos..)

  • Comment number 67.

here we go again with the creepy-crawlies-eating...brrrr *shakes herself*

Did you know that statistically we swallow 1.5 spiders during our sleep in our lifetime...?

  • Comment number 68.

Hi everyone - just a quick post as won't be around until after the ep - I can't WAIT to see what Mr Rook is here for. Steven Robertson was utterly chilling on Luther, and it looks as though all the big guns are coming out tonight! Had a quick glance through the other feeds on here, and apols if I'm repeating anything that's already been said, but tonight I'm thinking vaguely -oh so very vaguely, as this is such a deep pool to jump into - along the lines of......

Cutler submits to the OO's and goes back to Brazil with them and Hal is abandoned (hmm, seems too easy, even as I write it...)
Annie crosses over, taking Baby Eve
The Woman (she's still credited as The Woman, even though she's told Annie that she's future Eve) is a red herring. Don't know what her significance is, but don't trust her.
Tom HAS to survive - we've only scratched the surface of his character, and we're seeing him realise that all the birds and the bees chat he got from his Dad has left him really ill-prepared for the real world. Hal and Tom need each other.

I'll hold my hands up and admit that I've got absolutely no idea, but I quite like that in a weird way :-)

Sorry for lurking and then brain-dumping on you. I hope to be back, as I'll be in need of the group therapy on the other side of series 4 for sure.

    Better go, strength to gather....

  • Comment number 69.

Hi Manc, yeah, who indeed? He has me worried!

But it's ok sasha has reassured me that he's just a body snatcher, i mean funeral director!

  • Comment number 70.

Why are we calling him Mr Rook? Has someone been looking at the cast for tonight or are we just *giving* him that name?

  • Comment number 71.

70- I saw his name on a picture somewhere, but didn't post it.

  • Comment number 72.

@67 0positiv relax, thats a fallacy. What self respecting spider is gonna climb into a persons mouth in the middle of the night?

As for 1.5 spiders? Is that one that can't commit?

  • Comment number 73.

@sasha, i think some cast list peeping has come in to play here...

  • Comment number 74.

It's like having 2.5 children...wouldn't want to be the .5th....

  • Comment number 75.

    Hi all...

He does not seem as he can see her. So must be human. But I would say he's too old to he her brother as he said that Ryan was younger brother. What about a detective?

  • Comment number 76.

67 @0positiv. I'll never forget the time a massive spider fell from the cealing onto the pillow right next to my head scream wasn't in it. It was so big you could hear it plop.

Then there was the time in January when my husband strolled downstairs with a wolf spider on his arm that was in the bed with him. *Shudder*.

Yes we swallow lots of insects just as long as I don't start coughing up insect legs Im not really bothered

  • Comment number 77.

I'll bet 5 cupcakes that at the end of tonights show, the announcer will say something like:

'Wow, well that was a fantastic end to the series! Did you see that coming? That's all from our favourite ghost, vampire and ww for now but BH will be back on your screens in February next year!'

  • Comment number 78.

If he is called rook, then it might be interesting that the rook or crow, is associated in mythology with travel between life and death. Sometimes it is believed that they guide souls from life to the after-life. So it would be a good name for an undertaker, or indeed for someone sent from the after-life for Annie.

On a more grisly note, Rooks are carrion-eaters, so maybe another supernatural who preys on human-flesh. Hmm maye I've been wearing these zombie slippers too long...

  • Comment number 79.

and srsly...that thing with the 1.5 spiders was just a joke *rolls her eyes* because on the other blog Saint had the OO eating leeches ^^

I bet that gave you quite the fright ^.^....the spiders not the husband mind you

  • Comment number 80.

76 - @howlingblue - any more talk like that and I won't be sticking round lol. I've had too many spider incidents to want to even hear that word! There's conkers everywhere in my house to try and scare them off!

    77-@sasha -oooh I hope so!!

  • Comment number 81.

77 @sasha I would gladly give you 50 cupcakes for that news. With Kia Ora flavour icing and cherries on top.

  • Comment number 82.

Delurking to say - very excited about tonights episode and

  • Comment number 83.

    72 - ROFL

  • Comment number 84.

Right peeps...putting my marigolds on for a bit. Speak soon :D

  • Comment number 85.

Sorry for mistypos by the way... Very difficult to type on the phone. I'm sure she was saying to Hal that her younger brother Ryan had a tatoo and this one must be in his mud thirties

  • Comment number 86.

Ooooh is he the OO's lawyer?
    Is Cutler done for?
Or will it be Annie crossing over/ or crossing over the line?
Is Hal alive (yes i'm guessing)?
Will Hal be welcomed back into the fold and become Lord Hal?
Will Tom and Milo come to a dog fight?
    Will Milo swap sides?
Will Ghost eve achieve her aim and somehow kill herself?
Will thw old ones win or lose?
Will the Gang at HH stick together no matter what (ilke Mitchell, George, Annie and Nina always did)?
Will we have a suprise return of someone?
Will we be left stuned, heartbroken, with a wonderful cliffhanger?

    only time will tell?
    Bring it on..............

  • Comment number 87.

79 @0positiv Oooo i don't know though he can be pretty scary. LOL

  • Comment number 88.

    oh forgot,
Will Alex be taking Annies place?
Will HH now have 2 ghosts?

  • Comment number 89.

scary husband? *lol* Well, as long as he doesn't eat you for tea..no wait dinner, 'cause tea is barbaric ;)

  • Comment number 90.

    Whos that guy?

  • Comment number 91.

Two hours to go and counting.

  • Comment number 92.

@agenna: Definitely would prefer two ghosts in HH rather than Annie leaving.

  • Comment number 93.

    2 Hours

Im glad people say "new blog next door" otherwise i would still be on the other blog thinking where is everyone?

  • Comment number 94.

which ever way it falls I hope we see Annie's powers kicking butt!!!!

  • Comment number 95.

Counting down now. Tick tock. isn't it handy that we've changed the clocks today. BH is an hour earlier!

  • Comment number 96.

Someone said about could there be a vamp accountant. He could be, it would make sense. I always did wonder how vamps would have bank accounts.

Im really looking forward for this ep! 1 hour 52 mins!! :-)

  • Comment number 97.

@saint - what do you make of the godhead symbol? Do you think it looks like an explosion, I do? What if for S5 we are in a new location and HH is the casualty? I would take that over one of our heroes!!

  • Comment number 98.

I am getting nerrrrrrrrrrrrvvvvvvvvvvvvvooouuuuuuuuus. Mojitos - I think a stiff gin is required. Anyone?

  • Comment number 99.

all you peoples antici.............................pation for tonights episode makes it even worse that I'll have to wait till tomorrow to watch it ó.ò

  • Comment number 100.

The wait is almost over! Evening everyone. How does the live blog work? Is there going to be Q & A after the episode, or is this just a place to discuss the episode as it airs?
