    Oooh!!! First. Enjoy everyone.

We had 'technical difficulties' which is why they took a while to get up.

  • Comment number 2.

    We shall thank you Rebecca

  • Comment number 3.

    and then they were three...

do not worru , mistress denton, we all have our technical difficulties

now if only we could have the transmission date and the annie prequel and the cessna videos... please, please, crawling on my knees

  • Comment number 4.

1- Get strict with them Rebecca! But thank you for putting them on the blog

2- Ewan seriously, you could have said......

3 yay - oh and by the way - can't see Michell prequel nooooowwww - oh. Rebecca's gone. Oh dear. :)

  • Comment number 5.

on the plus side Mitchell will not feel lonely as...
Annie+ Ivan&Daisy and George prequels are not working

some sort of silver lining. Silver for a werewolf, how appropriate...

  • Comment number 6.

  • Comment number 7.

Rest assured we are trying to fix the broken links. I'll update you as soon as I know what's happened.

  • Comment number 8.

@ewan - thank you for the ever so gentle heads up....

@Rebecca - sounds like the tech dept needs a stern talking to - perhaps no party rings for the week....

*good thing have not unpacked that suitcase yet*

  • Comment number 9.

The purpose of being turned as ghost is to allow the soul to fulfill his/her destiny caught too short by death
Having Owen admitting being a murderer caused a door to show and disappear as Annie turned it away to be there for Mitchell after his stabbing by Herrick. Season 2 saw Annie learning about her powers yet not using them on Kemp's aura and we all know how it ended up. Then Mitchell freed her and teh men with sticks and ropes let her go...not for it was a vengeful spirit Lia and season3 saw Annie using her power(yes) the one demonstrated on George through Sykes's guidance: the vampire threesome known otherwise as the Lemon sherbet and Schnapps position in the Kamasutra- to be continued

  • Comment number 10.

    Thank you Rebecca :)

Well, according to my TV and Satellite Week TV Guide, at the back of the magazine it has Being Human as listed as coming up very soon, listed the same week that season four of True Blood begins and that begins on Feb 5th so if it keeps the same transmission date, then i think we're looking at Feb 5th for Being Human series 4, so i think Aquamarine Jo was on the money...so with some luck, Feb 5th will be Vampire Sunday for me! :D

  • Comment number 11.

Because all along season2, bit by bit Annie learnt to let go a human love, learnt about aura, learnt about being able to taste food if not eat or drink, learnt they were good ghosts Gilbert-s1 , but also average ones Sykes, dubious ones Saul and could be useful to her own specie- see Alan Cortez experiment. Believing her not useful to her own'supernatural family' Mitchell and George, she went to Cessna and ended up on the otherside... Season 3 saw her loving an 'equal' as in the supernatural realm , yet just as 'bad' boy as Owen but this time where it took fear of the most cruel and sadistic nature to get Owen admit to the police he had killed her. it was Annie beginning which prevented having HH being transformed in a blood bath (though it saved nobody as the OO took over later) to be continued

  • Comment number 12.

Annie has loved unworthy lovers though the last one redeemed himself and thus proved himself worth of her love- see TW interviews this month. Now what isit about a woman' normal expectations: children. ghosts can't have children, right? Wrong, as seen on the prequel: we had Annie the ghostly maid; we have now Annie the strong maternal spirit. TW message is not about having biological children or not; whatever way is good as long a syou bond with a child. Motherhood is essential to the basic nature and requests on what it takes to be a full fledged woman: to have, raise and hold a child and protect...Vampires are strong, but many dangerous hanters have learnt bitterly that nothing is more dangerous than a mother bear/lionness/tigress etc
Question then: if this season sees finally Annie ticking all the boxes of her destiny: season 4 cliff-hanger could see her finally crossing willingly her door?

  • Comment number 13.

Love it! The baby with the stakes, the dominoes! This series is going to be great, even without the usual gang in it.

  • Comment number 14.

    @mistress denton

thank you so much for us , little bloggers who have been so, so lonely for almost ten months

and understand and appreciate our frantic search for the transmission date

it will be our beacon in that dark night

  • Comment number 15.

Hey on the picture of Annie, Hal and tom on the blog homepage, has anyone noticed that under the word cafe it says "under new management" the same thing the vamps said the world was gonna be at the end of the last series, don't worry if u hav noticed already, i not got time to follow all the blog, just thought it worth saying.

  • Comment number 16.

8- Sunny - thanks for info from next door - and for the key lime tarts - got them now - along with the sofa....

Go Rebecca! Hope you get to announce TX date first before anyone else! x

  • Comment number 17.

@ziggy yes it was mentionned in the previous blog or the blog before

actually soon are wondering if the new manager is not by any chance Hal: theory>>>not proven. Leo, the 1955 werewolf who owned the barbershop finally died of natural causes- natural causes as Hal is not on the war path to avenge his friend. Hal has plenty of dough and needs a new 'safe' household. He buys the shop where Tom is working: Tom has a job, Hal has a keeper to remind him to stay on the waggon and the cellar mentionned on Tom Prequel is just the right thing for Tom when the full moon happens. Hence under new management... Hoping nothing wrong happened to 'Mam' and the 'burger buns accountant - cum- human ressources manager'...

  • Comment number 18.

Loving these prequels. This is going to be great. No longer worried about the cast disappearing bit by bit. THOUGH I WILL REALLY MISS THEM. This looks worth the wait.

  • Comment number 19.

    Loving these teaserz

    Whats the song used?

    "Clearly not"

  • Comment number 20.

12 - I feel this is Annie's series. Hopefully so, she deserves more limelight. And yes, i fear (or hope?) she will meet her maker on episode eight.

  • Comment number 21.

    Lion by Eugene McGuinness

  • Comment number 22.

Thanks for the mini trailers BHP! They sure know how to leave my interest piqued that's for sure ;)

Will have a look at them again in a bit and if I have more to say in regards to them will come back.

At the moment though, looking good, hoping for the air date soon and thank you for the upload! xx

    Hope everyone is well

  • Comment number 23.

Lurve BH - where u bin u blumin janner? R u still Plymish or have u moved to the right side of the river yet?

I'm Pacing my cage now, January is BH season; "I'm Aware that I'm a werewolf!" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

  • Comment number 24.

Lycan my little lovely! Oh how I've missed you and your... wolfish.. tendancies ;)

I'm still on the wrong side of the river.. waiting for you to tempt me to cross to the 'dark side' lol.

I know.. this time last year we were all full of beans weren't we? Hopefully we'll get the launch date soon.. tis exciting is it not?!

  • Comment number 25.

Shure is me olde flower, come on over the Tamar any full moon and I'll chase ee round the Woods hehehehe!!

Hope you're not behaving. Sorry Ninas to be no more I know she was your gal, I think Toms going to grow up to be a Good Wolf, love his baby harness, complete with stakeholders, wander if little Eve will be able to Sense Vampires from a Small age?

  • Comment number 26.

just noticed Toms baby/stake harness has a massive Karibiner Clip which looks like it hold something BIG and its holding Eve's Cuddly toy! Bless!...., wander what her favourite cuddly toy will be?

    Any one else talking tonite?
    "I'm aware that I'm a werewolf"

  • Comment number 27.

Lol.. you're so cute! I'll head over the bridge when it's NOT a full moon, don't want you thinking I'm a good source of nourishment! :P

I know, Nina was my fave *sobs theatrically*. I really am gutted, poor GR has had to put up with my grumbles on that front lol. I'm just gonna watch S4 and try to embrace the newness of it all

  • Comment number 28.

Hello Bloggers! I'm about Lycan, hello to you & LBH :)

Woop woop! Loving the trailers & prequels that are coming out. Looking forward to getting to know new characters & seeing the old ones again!

  • Comment number 29.

That's ok, LBH. I had a RIGHT moan to you last year when Mitchell went. Still we've got a whole new series to look forward to & it's looking like it's going to be a good one!

  • Comment number 30.

Lo GR, just like good olde days with u2 lovely loonies, looks like S4 is goning to be good. Anyone think Hals Fangs look small for an OO? interested to see how Hal and Tom get on.

  • Comment number 31.

Lol.. GR how many times have you had to talk me down from my Nina related sadness? Though yes.. last year you were a *tad* upset about AT (tad being the biggest understatement ever) lol.

Lycan.. me? A loony? Me and GR have just had this discussion.. she is by FAR more mental than I could ever be! ;)

Tom's prequel was funny, and apparently he's rather humorous this series, so that'll be nice. I likes a good chuckle!

  • Comment number 32.

I seem to keep being refered to as a loonie.....

*whispers* Lycan think refering to Hal's fangs as small may be an insult to his manhood....

Think it'll be fireworks between them to start off with.

  • Comment number 33.

Lycan... *joins in whispering* I agree with what GR said.. vampires are touchy about the size of their fang! ;)

  • Comment number 34.

32/33. get the jist ladies, perhaps they get worn down with age perhaps?

yes GR I can see Tom bringing in some good humour in too.

  • Comment number 35.

Apparently, size isn't important, it what you do with them.... Well so I heard *coughs*
Anyway, I'm liking Tom's trailer. It reminds me of the ad's for that film (the Pacifier?), muscly bloke with cute baby strapped to him... Not that I'm complaining!

  • Comment number 36.

GR you crack me up girl. But yes, apparently size doesn't matter *nods*

  • Comment number 37.

Yeah, well there were a few comments at different times that the series have been less humourous as they've gone on.... Well suppose the last one was a bit of a return to the oiginal humour. Hubby & I had a S3 rewatch over the last few days, had a good old chuckle.

    "your dad's a ghost.... & a p*key!"

    *muscley (?)

  • Comment number 38.

It may not be the broadcast date but the DVD/Blue Ray Date is April the 23rd

  • Comment number 39.

  • Comment number 44.

    morning you all
what a great way to open the day

one sort of got used coming to the blog door listening at the tune of 'no milk today' as in no news today
buy today, today is the Day, yeeha!
    sunday 05.02.2012 9pm
you bet I'll be sitting in front of the telly
will tell hubby not to breathe anywhere near the telly
no noise, no nothing, just Being Human and me

some people are cartwheeling (now Sasha, you know I am unable to carwheel as for twirling moustache that is your signature) none the less I will do what I do best: lil'missPanda is dancing whilst Saint is extending her wings and soaring to the skies in loopings!

    yeeha Sunday 05.02.2012!!!! 9pm!!!! BBC3!!!!

  • Comment number 45.

YAY!!! It's still on a sunday and still at 9pm!!!

  • Comment number 46.

    Im chuffed.......!!!

Im far too manly to twirl my tache or cartwheel so Im just here smiling while chewing a cocktail stick with one raised eyebrow as I toy with my crucifix(LOLOLOLOLOL)......NOT A METAPHOR !!!!

  • Comment number 47.

    46 - Ooooh errrr Mr! :-O

44 - Soar away Saint, soar away!

  • Comment number 48.

    @mistress denton

yes, once again, the BH fans did it... poor mistress denton, yes, we are all just a tad bit mental when it comes to our favourite show

you see, it has been so hard so cruel during those past 10 months we have developed survival skills, detective work, investigation technics

Barry Pilling did spoil us; hence we had to do something

and now look at us... happy, contented, purring

the blog room is now a big happy pink house front room, we are all sitting on the sofa- it is an extendable sofa with a big grin on our face (that's my face!)
    yes, today is the day

    happy feet, dancing happy feet...

  • Comment number 49.

Well Im off to sharpen some stakes for my mini photo shoot in the CAFE....!!!

  • Comment number 50.

Naughty, naughty RT. Nothing is confirmed yet..... I've got a hotline to the ONLY person who can confirm, and she says 'no.'

But what amazing detectives! (YAY @MancVamp!) There will be a BBC side announcement on the confirmed air-date as soon as we have passed the 'embargo' deadline.

Good morning everyone! It's certainly exciting, and busy busy busy here at BH Towers.

    *pops champagne*

  • Comment number 51.

Hello Rebecca. I know that we are still waiting for the official announcement and nothing is confirmed until you get THE CALL. It could easily change and not be on the 5th of Feb.

(I wonder what an 'embargo' deadline is?)

  • Comment number 52.

I hope it is Feb 5th, it could only be Feb 5th if my TV Guide for next week is listing Being Human starting in their 'next week' column (it does makes sense, really!) and if they keep their usual transmission date then Feb 5th it is and Radio Times seems to have confirmed it (thanks Sea! and Manc)...

So it looks like from Feb 5th, Sundays will be 'Vampire Sundays' (or Supernatural Sunday) for this household :D

  • Comment number 53.

    Werewolf susdays Ruby....Werewolf sundays !!!

  • Comment number 54.

    *hangs head*

I don't want you to feel neglected.

So there is a time/day that a schedule has gone to the point where it can't be changed. It's always the way with certain special shows that they wait until the last moment.

I'm literally jumping out of my seat here! Must go make tea......!

  • Comment number 55.

Our Manc has been MENTIONED by bbcbeinghuman over at Twitter again:

"A thumbs up to @MancVamp for being awesome. #beinghuman #season4"

Isn't that nice? Hurrah for Manc!

  • Comment number 56.

Can it be that Hal is JUST talking about Domino?

  • Comment number 57.

*comes out from hiding behind the Blog sofa*

Thank you Rebecca, oh I do hope you get to make your announcement soon and I'm glad Being Human is thought of as a 'certain special show'.

*waving at everyone* Can we have some tea, please? My heart won't take all this nail-biting excitement!

  • Comment number 58.

The new series looks AWESOME, can't wait for it to be aired. All I wanna know is where's Nina, she's my favourite character and there's no sign of her in any of the trailers so far. We've lost Mitchell, please don't say we lose Nina too :(

  • Comment number 59.

58 Meeshee1994 - Oh dear... I think you need to go over to this blog post: bbc.co.uk/blogs/beinghuman/2012/01/tobys_blog_-_so_long_sinead.html

Sorry to have to break it to you, but there will be no Nina in season 4.

  • Comment number 60.

Manc, kettle broke...latte machine is working though...anyone seen the kitty for breakables, teabags etc...is it next to the first aid kit...you know the Being Human one that has stakes, mirrors, plasters and what looks like a pair of pliers?
Oh Snowy...does Stockholm have an underground rail network...just asking...future story...

  • Comment number 61.

As we speak (hushed voice) BBC Media Centre has opened a box for the program information starting from saturday 11th february but so far nil entry for BBC3

the suspense is unbearable... , it is that or somebody in BBC Towers is having a belated breakfast or a early lunch or a tea break or is plain... ly occupied by loftier issues than 'it's just a supernatural show, what the heck, they will have to wait till I, mr or miss 'too posh to be concerned by taxpayers veering on thin patience' , decide to relent and provide grudgingly information

  • Comment number 62.

Today's sandwiches must be very good or something, it's that vampire network...they get everywhere...shouldn't have done that, I've now got a picture in my head of the Director General of the BBC as Head Vamp..."Make them wait...they're only humans..." :)

  • Comment number 63.

yes must be that... now bbc media centre moost graciously informing us that

    Monday 13 February
    Ep 6/13
    Monday 13 February
5.45-6.15pm The ministry of curious stuff
CBBC Viewers are invited to join Vic Reeves in his Ministry of Curious Stuff – a fantastical depository of information staffed by Vic and his team of inquisitive fact-finders

well, mr minister I can give you a curious stuff item for your own agenda
why can't is BH fnas getr the date of transmission of our show?

grr, Panda is getting miffed. AAnd nobody gets Panda miffed without retribution...

  • Comment number 64.

Right, have nipped to Tesco, got a new kettle with those Clubcard vouchers...all those teabags, coffee, pastries, party rings, champagne etc mount up, we have a very healthy points total now...should keep us in biscuits til ooh Saturday...
You do not mess with the Panda...she may be small but she can nip your ankles something rotten, kind of like Hetty the vamp but in furry form...

  • Comment number 65.

I`m making do with Aiden,Josh,Sally and now Nora for the time being.

  • Comment number 66.

yep, nip badly the ankles otherwise very healthy teeth!!! and though furry way nicer than Hetty- Panda happy to act as deputy baby minder to Eve

but when angry...ooohhh...when angry ... not rotten, just plainly vicious mode... bewawe mistew vewy bad BBC contwollew and diwectow
this panda is taking no pwisonew

    champagne you said?

  • Comment number 67.

Oh and I got a couple of bottles of bubbly just in case...I'll put them in the fridge...the wine cellar seems a bit empty...bit dark...there's whispering too...is that where us bloggers learn our spying skills?

  • Comment number 68.

    hello friend

making do with BH US... you must be very very courageous ... muyst be that or despair has got a grip on your soul
see SFX vampires magazine released yesterday, thei comparison screen between the two shows is overwhelming

so , no thank you, will skip BH US and keep company to like minded BH UK fans
suffer and not get poisoned by evil BH US
Aidan/Mitchell in the US is working as a surgical nurse and can be seen on camera... what next... he sparkles???

    bring on those crucifixes!!!

  • Comment number 69.

I`m as happy as Larry that BH is returning as i do prefer the original British version, all hail Lord Toby.
That reminds me i`ve got to get a new copy of S2 as disk one has now decided not to play anymore (grrrrr),just hoping that the S1 AND S3 don`t start misbehaving as they`ve had rather a lot of play (RIP old Blu-ray player) sobs.

  • Comment number 70.

I knew your heart was true!

as for your naughty season 2 disk, what can one say... one feels your pain...

It is my personal opinion someone in BBC Towers hate our show/hate us/is not doing the job he-or-she is paid for/does not bother/only bothers with stupid reality shows/is holding as hostage the real director of programmation - tick the relevant boxes...

how long can we wait? can we survive?
we need confirmation... well that or a new prequel/postquel/script a la Herrick prequel

    @mistress Denton

though fully aware as why the prequel was not filmed or if filmed was not shown on the BBC, could it be possible to have not only the Herrick prequel but also the Cessna prequel when we learn more about the three other werewolves who died in the Bristol compond. thanks

  • Comment number 71.

That lunch is really going on and on...could it be the news that, hopefully, fingers x, a fifth series is commisioned, or not, that's holding this up? I'm picturing closed doors, in a shadowy corridor...a door creaks open...a spiney-looking hand reaches round..."Take the scroll, take it, the future of BBC3 depends on it...have you seen our latest listings, we are turning into Channel 5...it must be stopped...Mongrels has already gone...just get past the guard dogs outside the controller's office..."

  • Comment number 72.

Hello Bloggers...feel like I'm playing hide and seek with these blogs..not sure if it was this blog, but someone mentioned the "other" Aiden Turner"..He is an Australian actor but famous here in the states for being a daytime tv star.

  • Comment number 73.

Hi Susan, yes this blog jumping is getting a bit confusing...always pack a pair of flat shoes just in case, and I've a feeling it is Ewan's turn to move the blog sofa, Manc's back's a bit sore with having to shove it from blog to blog...

  • Comment number 74.

    It's official. Official official!

bbcbeinghuman on twitter says it startson the 5th feb at 9pm!

  • Comment number 75.

About time too! Anyone seen the champagne flutes? We're going to need a few more bottles...

  • Comment number 76.

Fearing, suspecting, realizing threats are not working, I suggest we try the Mancvamp approach instead of the stick one. Yes Manc otherwise known as the carrot approach.
Let's see what would a BBC3 controller be interested in?
    Yes: dismal taste but
BHB known otherwise as being human brother: a good of BH fans are locked inside a house and one by one are voted out by the public , they are given tasks like remembering which song was played in which episode, quote days, cook George risotto di frutti di mare competition contest, dress like Mitchell tribe with clothings items found in the house etc...

or 'I am a BH Fan, get me out of there'. Maggots eating test not being a problem as fans looovvveee zombies, the eating contest will be how fast one can eat a pizza or how long can one survive a werewolf transformation whilst being locked w/Tom in a cage

That or 'Dancing with Sasha' and get plenty of Brucie bonuses... The possibilities are endless

  • Comment number 77.

Dancing with Sasha...On Ice...dear God do not put the ideas in their heads...Holby City with vamps running the NHS...don't they already?! Right, PARTYTIME! Mojitos, champagne, party rings, where's the karaoke machine? Is the patio ready, all the leaves cleared away...better get the fireworks out again...

  • Comment number 78.

New series of Being Human on Sunday February 5th.
First broadcast of Sherlock series 2 on Swedish Television on Saturday February 4th.

This might be too much for my little brain to process in such a limited time-frame. I might just explode from fandom overload.

  • Comment number 79.

damper on everybody : nil seen yet on bbc website but I know logic says it besides poor heart will end up in real life heart attack but twitter...twitter as bbcthree 13minutes ago and bbcbeing human do confrm

cellar as wine cellar: check two werewolves cages for Tom and George : check
plenty of dominoes, any kind of dominoes games for Hal : not yet delivered , note to self : send inflammatory email to amazon and ebay... confirm Eve birth to Pampers and collect free nappy samples in every available means, that plus plan Eve baby shower, check with Annie lamp bulbs , last lot seems feckless

contact British Museum Library, Library of Congress, Vatican Archives, Le Louvre museum and cellars about vampires scrolls...
