Being Human Attic

It's less than 24 hours until the final episode of Being Human series three.

Herrick is back to his old self with devastating consequences, killing McNair and stabbing a pregnant Nina in cold blood, leaving her life hanging in the balance. With Mitchell and Annie in a police cell and George on the way to find them, will anyone discover her before it's too late?

Meanwhile, Mitchell's past crimes have finally caught up with him and justice has to be done. It's taken many years for Mitchell to finally succumb to the law, but in the end it was Annie that made it happen. Annie who put so much faith in Mitchell, gave him so much love and loyalty and in the end was forced become the thing she despises... a killer. Could there be any way back from this?

There's also the mystery of the wolf-shaped bullet. Who could it be? How will it happen? Or is it all just clever mind games?

There's only one way to find out... join us this Sunday at 9pm on BBC Three to see how the series ends.

Don't forget to share the love on Facebook and Twitter (@bbcbeinghuman), where we'll be tweeting updates before, during and after the episode. Plus, there's brand new Becoming Human on red button and online straight after the episode at 10pm. This week Christa's transformation strikes and Adam's about to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time.

If you're still yet to catch up on Becoming Human tune in to BBC Three next Sunday 20th March at 9pm to see a 50min special retelling the mystery so far and finally revealing the killer.

With so much action going on in the Being Human world we think our brains might actually explode. How do you feel? Leave us your thoughts in the comments below...

Those who were here last year will know that a day before I wrote a summery of season two and called it Castle CenSSA This year I thought I'd go a different style that is the reason for this.

It was to be a Hawaiian dream, an oasis of peace and safety from all the horrors in the outside world. Now that dream was shattered turned into a nightmare the furnishings stained red. How had this happened? Why had this happened?

All in all it came down to secrets, hidden from the world, hidden from each other.

Had it been only two months ago when such joy had filled these walls as Annie who had been lost, no not lost stolen from them had been returned. Their family their pack had once more grown whole. Annie the purest soul had returned from such fear and torment they could not guess. Saved from hell by the most tormented soul of them all, Mitchell. Such a hero he was risking all for her he gained her heart but did he believe himself worthy of such an prize.

Mitchell whose past like a gossamer cloak so tightly wrapped around him made almost invisible save for the stains he had earned in his long life. Shunning the world out this dark souled man hoped to keep his nightmares of freedom away. His past however would not be so forgiving, for others of his kind would not forget nor damn him for his deeds. Some would even praise him for these acts of rage. As if the tightness of the cloak was not too great a strain to bare from the lips of his victim pushed down on him. The manner of his own death.

For the lovers mated more than they could know George racked still with remorse for his part in his loves fate, Nina. Nina, whose past dark in woe and pain untouched lest the memories return locked away from waking thoughts. Still new to the curse and this new, old world where she now lives. Hope was to be fully realised for these two lovers when under the moons touch when they feared death. Life was the result.

Now for this four if alone their fate would not have been kind had it not been for those that intruded on their life. A child of blood was a there forcing conflict with those revelling in their sickness. Rescuing the child earned the pair enmity for which they would be targeted. The dying dead would also come, caused into being by the act of freeing Annie from hell. Though knowing less of their world the last acts of wisdom striking a cord and spurring actions in those who heard them. The fool who followed would also leave his mark. The fool who pushed and taunted the slumbering rage in his own way to plead for death. However like a slumbering viper he had left behind his chronicles of Mitchell's misdeeds.

Now in hopes for their child to be born the lovers sought out others of the marked to find answers. Deep within a forest far from prying eyes they searched till a father and a son were found. Warriors they were who sought out those of the blood to vent some vengeful rage. Whose arrival had Mitchell unknowingly betray his friends to the petty vengeance of others, A treaty formed for one night to free them. A truce formed in blood.

Now waiting in the wing of Chaos He was waiting a Malevolent Jester his past torn from him. His broken mind an echo of who he had been. His true self locked away behind a wall of thirst. Now Some wanted this fiend dead before the smiling devil that he was returned, Others stood for humanity, for redemption, for life. So waiting above them pulling strings to twist and tear at our heroes bonds he waited, finding the motivation of them all he found the book of the dead and so he struck with deadly accuracy into the groups heart.

So there they were as the dawn rose their fortress through fear and distrust was waiting to be breached.

The champion to the slaughtered was to come, knocking on the door. Named for a young sleuth, she could see secrets lying just underneath the surface. The true depth would still escape her till the end. All that was known is that lies were being done and that the faces she talked to were but masks. Up above the strings were pulled and following the threads she climbed to hold in her hands pages black and white and red all over. The book of nightmares. Though the book was destroyed it's impact remained like a cancer eating away at the foundations of the home.

Annie touched by the champions desire for justice decided to aid her in her quest to find and punish the guilty, little knowing where it would all end.

Now we come to the night before the blood when tie illusion of safety still held strong as from the outside pushing ever closer came hell and prophecy pushing down upon them. Now to this came the return of the marked warriors, the wrath of the blood hot on their heels. Calling for sanctuary and aid. The Father knowing by the very airs stench his greatest enemy had returned waited.

Now surrounded by the marked Mitchell wishing for a monsters return. As one who had fallen to the claws yet survived he would be his salvation. But the cost of his return to his shattered soul was such he could not make the sacrifice.

So as the moon rose over the house and as all the marked save one departed leaving him to his decades long desire for vengeance. Little knowing that he would fall. As some of the old Daemon remained enough for a fatal stroke to fell the proud beast.

For Annie Guiding the champions path found the knowing of what her love did, now as the truth came to light with the dark plans for the champion Annie had to make a choice. To go with love or justice, The choice made as that false mentor to the champion looked forwards not back. Such was his fate.

Now one by one returning to their home first Mitchell first to discover death at home as in the attic lay a body and a frightened man, then to be challenged for his crimes forced by bonds of love to surrender, leaving behind the champion to ascend the stairs to her fate.

    So The Jester Returned.

Then the lovers returned to the home with harsh words George left Nina to enter the place once called home, there she faced becoming the answer to a dilemma. As the Jester struck piercing her side leaving her blood to seep and stain the floor. Surrounded by the dead. Alone.

As near by the world was about to change with a single. 'click'

So stained by lies, stained by guilt, stained by folly, stained by fear.

The floor now stained in blood.

Hope that catches Us all up

  • Comment number 4.

I've made a title sequence for the show. See it here:

    Hope you enjoy it.

  • Comment number 5.

Fantastic Ewan sums this series so beautifully and has made the anticipation for tomorrows episode unbearable.

  • Comment number 6.

If the cast are reading this, just want to say well doen to all. You have all been fantastic and captured my imagination with this show.

Your all that good at your jobs I genuinly care about all your characters.

Apart from herrick he is a dick. But thats just how good Jason is as an actor he potrays his dick character so well.

I dont want it to end please bbc 3 commision a 4th season.

This show has proved time and time again the quality of acting, scriptwriting, camera work, productions values, sound engineering that Britain can produce.

The show even had Robson Greene in it, who im not a fan off. Who proved to me he is an awsome actor and played the tortured mcnair to a tee.

    What a show.

  • Comment number 7.

The anticipation is literally killing me!! This finale is gonna be epic & ill be waiting it on the edge of my seat!

    ewan- brilliant. :-)

    Roll on Sunday argh!!!!!!

  • Comment number 9.

Don't think I'm going to be getting off to sleep easily tomorrow night, somehow. I think I'm going to be awash with adrenaline.....

    Wolf-shaped bullet
    George and Mitchell's relationship
    Nina and the baby
    Annie doing battle
    Herrick's return
A house full of dead police

    ....and that photo!

Could it be any more exciting?

  • Comment number 10.

DD has just wandered in, clocked that I'm rewatching BH again, rolled her eyes and left! LOL

  • Comment number 11.

    *does kermit flail*

so excited for tomorrow, really wish it was Sunday now

Except then it'd be 5 minutes until the end of BH3 and that would be even worse

  • Comment number 12.

    Good evening bloggers!!

  • Comment number 13.

"Annie who put so much faith in Mitchell, gave him so much love and loyalty and in the end was forced become the thing she despises... a killer."

This line is really annoying me now. Mitchell has generally been a good boy since going out with Annie. She said she accepted his past, so she should get over it. But most of all: ANNIE IS ALREADY A KILLER WHEN SHE GOT KEMP. She hasn't been showing much remorse or self-loathing over that, and Kemp was HUMAN, not a vampire, but a redeemable human. ARGHHHH! Annie and George could see that Mitchell had gone bad and they ran away from him instead of dealing with it. They never asked questions.

Just give me the episode already and I will calm down.

  • Comment number 14.

OK, my thoughts on the coming ep:
1)I think Tom finds her before it is too late.
2)Annie will become darker but accept the world around her for what it is now that she has killed.
3)George is the WSB, but won't kill Mitchell - Lia will set them up against each other but Annie will make the peace between them.
4)I think we should bea inmind that it was La who put the idea to tell Mitchell 'You're the man that I want' so I think they may question the reality ofth relationship but come out strong in the end.
    5) Nina will survive but probably not the baby. Or there are twins/more and 1 survives??? Have they had a scan yet? Can't remember.
6)I don't think it will happen but I think Mitchell will become a ghost: unfinished business = resolving his crimes. This also proves very useful for his and Annie's relationship!

  • Comment number 15.

How can this be?! I am torn between absolute joy and sheer terror. Anything else would not be fitting for Being Human!
Cannot wait until Sunday... but then it will all be over.
Or will it? Hello BHP, can we have a yay or nay on series 4 yet? xx

  • Comment number 16.

Ewan at post 1, wow, just beautiful, xx

  • Comment number 17.

Could Annie be battling with Lia for LIA's soul, or have I now flipped?

Is it Nina and/or Fuzzy's door Annie uses to get back to Purgatory?

  • Comment number 18.

    Well done, Ewan! Very poetic.

I'm all on pins & needles, and making NO predictions! A while back, I fell in love with this show about how life is frequently and drastically unfair, but one little constructed family found ways to make it worthwhile anyway.

For the second year in a row, it's testing the limits of my ability to deal with it being about how one of them fails miserably.

They came through last year and left me with hope, and last week had the beginnings of that again, along with all sorts of ACK! I'm immensely proud of Annie, hopeful for Mitchell, terrified for Nina, waiting for the rest of the shoes to drop on George, and elbowing my way to the front of the queue to stake Herrick. (I said I was glad Mitchell was stopped, because he was doing it for the wrong reasons. I didn't say I didn't want it done!)

Oh, and coming to terms with Daisy's offscreen demise. "Scottish girl. Pretty. Fought like a cat." There are worse epitaphs, and she's certainly earned them. And yeah, I shouldn't be going "Oh noooooo!" for an unrepentant psychopath, but she was just so much fun! The benefit of living on the safe side of the screen... ;-D

  • Comment number 19.

17 - second point: that is exactly what I've been wondering all week! Didn't like to say though...

  • Comment number 20.

Glad that those who managed to make their way through Staines (post 1 summary) liked it.

  • Comment number 21.

Already got my immediately-after-work viewing party set up. Oh, the anticipation! But it's going to be even more killer waiting to find out about S4!!!

  • Comment number 22.

    16 @ White_Hare

They picked one of your posts for the main page. Well done! :-)

  • Comment number 23.

'could there be any way back from this?'.
Desperately hanging on to a glimmer of hope that the answer is Yes. But will still have a very stiff drink and big box of tissues by my side! Must remind myself to breathe.

Thank you BHP for an epic series which has gripped like... well, a very grippy thing indeed. How exactly have you made me care so much about a (very) fictional group of people?

I have so much I'd love to say about the mesmerising acting this year (yes, AT and JW in particular) which has been feeding the addiction to ridiculous levels. But I can't, because Being Human is messing with my head again and I have to go lie down in a dark room - again.

  • Comment number 24.

It should have read 10 @WhiteHare....sorry!

  • Comment number 25.

This time in 24 hours, we'll know how it all ends! :S

Either we'll all be incoherent, blubbering, unintelligible, emotional wrecks... or we'll be very, very happy! Here's hoping for the latter! :P

  • Comment number 26.

ooh! I would never have noticed that. Thank you! Fame at last LOL.

  • Comment number 27.

  • Comment number 36.

  • Comment number 37.

Great piece, Ewan. This series has all gone so quick. Is nice to see it all summarised :)

Well, as everyone else seems to be saying, the countdown has definitely begun! I'm half looking forward to tomorrows episode, half dreading it. I will have tissues & alcohol on standby, as at the end of last series...

  • Comment number 41.

Yesh, best thing EVER although some questions...
Is a month meant to have passed or are they not transforming in the next episode?

If they did that would be interesting coz Nina is in hospital and Gorge is fighting Mitchell :S but it wouldn't make sense.

and yh well done Ewan, not something I am gonna forget in a hurry ;D

  • Comment number 42.

Ewan (1) and Slohi (4), I bow to your creativity!
    Well done.

  • Comment number 43.

35/38 - does it mean something that I didn't notice?! Or am I so into skim reading as I try and finish this dull book on Renaissance marriages that I transferred my skills to the blog?

  • Comment number 55.

    45. am v concerned that on twitter all the people involved with BH seem to be v nervous about tomorrows ep

    how will i sleep tonight?

  • Comment number 56.

    48 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEqn68eZaco I think that's the story of episode 7. I don't like party rings. Dairy Milk please.

  • Comment number 57.

55 - I'm hoping that it's just because something they care deeply about is coming to a (we hope temporary) close and they want it to be well-received. Although I'm worried that they are sad/worried/turning to the bottle as well.

  • Comment number 58.

"Night-night from London" sounds like the title of a talkshow. Or a pop song.

    Night RealMitchell and Mosquitoinuk!

  • Comment number 59.

    Dairy milk coming up! (binary)

  • Comment number 61.

54 - yeh Shovels I know but only because you pointed out. I am busy essay researching and so I skim over unnecessary additional words without even registering their existance!

Shovels2, perhaps if you add the rum to it ;) Night, sleep tight!

  • Comment number 73.

On Monday I will be in hell, Not only the hell of not knowing if there will be a season 4 because of negotiations. But I converted a co-worker to the glory of being human because I am such a good person. Only one small problem his TV internet etc is in Cardiff where he will not be going until next weekend. So I have to keep silent about everything that happens after The Pack when I see him.

So Sunday So amazingly Awesome, Monday Hell.

  • Comment number 74.

71 - oh I can't wait for April! You've just taken me completely off-task re BH! All I want is Jon Slinger, who was the last man to utter those words to me and will sleep no more...

  • Comment number 75.

67 - Watched it four times already!

Preview made me nervous and worried. Who is the guy with the white eyes? Why does Mitchell lie on the floor (knocked out?) and why oh why is George so angry? I don't like George angry. It's like watching a hamster suddently go for the throat...

  • Comment number 76.

73 - same boat Ewan, my colleague is going to be 3 eps behind and it was almost intolerable on Monday just gone!

  • Comment number 77.

76 - Yep that was a sucky way to spend a Birthday.

  • Comment number 78.

75 - ROFL re hamster!!! white eyes guy looks like a zombie copper to me matey... someone's blocked the door again...

  • Comment number 79.

77 - you have no idea how laden your comment is for me - you are freaking me out now. Do you know me?

  • Comment number 80.

    67. ok had another look at ep 8 preview trailer

M wakes up in cage?..who put him there ...herrick?

still think G is going mad with grief and M not fighting him..its Tom who appears out for revenge and is making a stake?

then again...'the oh my god moment'( and they always do them brilliantly) might be G staking M? ( pleeease dont do it george!)

love that herrick is back....sort them all out!

feel will need to watch ep from behind cushion/ sofa/ in another room possibly?

  • Comment number 81.

74 - Had to look that one up. Remember him now from A Knight's Tale.
Sorry for derailing you. I fell asleep clutching the sonnets last night and is still in mixed up mode: Willy and BH in one confused combo.

  • Comment number 82.

79 - Wait last Monday was your Birthday to?

  • Comment number 83.

    80. point one. Yes. point two. Maybe/Probably. point three. Neh. Not with a stake. point four. Possibly but he gets humiliated. point five. Cushion. with tissues.

  • Comment number 84.

82 - thank [whatever it is an atheist thanks] no, twas not my birthday. Someone I love very deeply and was unable to be with because of work. Broke my heart. that was a very sucky way to spend a birthday.

But if it was your birthday, then please accept my belated happy returns to you!

  • Comment number 85.

In the two-second clip in the trailer where Lia appears saying "This is revenge" - where are they? It looks like an Oxbridge gown on the door behind her? It must be from the part where Annie confronts her in purgatory. Is it Lia's room at uni perhaps?

  • Comment number 86.

73, Ewan & probably the hell of another cliffhanger :(

78, WR, yes definitely a copper, wonder what part he will play in events..?

  • Comment number 87.

84 - Well that would have been very coincidental, I don't think we thank any thing in particular. Just have a that was close moment.

Well hope you managed some time with your friend a weekend or at least a drink. and thankyou

  • Comment number 88.

85 - it's a black leather jacket I think, not a scholarly gown. Unlikely to be in Lia's rooms in purgatory... Annie wouldn't be guiding her around. more likely the other way around...

  • Comment number 89.

87 - a 3 year old nephew who lives far away. First family birthday of a child which I have missed. I let him down. I will not see him for at least a month.
Oh and it will get closer. Every second it gets closer. Don't like it. Don't want it.

  • Comment number 90.

Ewan, it will probably be a crap Monday for everyone.

    1. We're going to be out of BH for the season
    2. We'll have no new previews to look forward to
    3. Other people will not understand our predicament
    4. We'll have to stop spending all our free time infront of the computer, trying to catch up with the blog
    5. Our brains will be overloaded with Sunday's events
    6. Our eyes will be puffy
    7. Our fingertips will be swollen after extensive typing
    8. Our bellies will be swollen due to party rings

Work on any decent level will be impossble.

  • Comment number 91.

Moby's techno edit of God's Gonna Cut You Down using a REAL African American gospel church from this song ACTUALLY came from.

Many country and early rockers took from the rich black American folk blues, gospel and jazz musicians. Beatles are prime and Rolling Stones too.
From the US it's common knowledge.

  • Comment number 92.

75.LOL!did you ever see the killer bunny rabbit in monty python and the holy grail film?

    85. yes bring BH to oxford...will help out for nothing!

89 - Then no going out for drinks then. Well when do don't forget a second present if you have any guilty feelings. I'm just assuming you posted him one.

So he'll be 3 years and one month when you see him. Interesting.

92- first time I've ever known anyone *real* (not binary) who watches BH, I was so excited and now so frustrated! Oh and Monty Python killer bunny. Ye Gods that was hilarious.
I don't think there are studios in Oxford. They'd be much better to bring it to Birmingham with me and Ewan nearby to assist, surely?

90 - There will be the blog to hold us together including one special blog. Some will know of what I speak others can only guess.

92 - 'course I saw the bunny! A friend and I was totally into Monty Python when were around 16 years old. One summer we went camping, and everywhere on the camping site was signs saying "Beware of the rabbits". We never understood why the warning signs were necessary, but it cracked us up everytime we saw them. The killer bunny might had taken up residence in that very camping site... Maybe in a fluffy bunny tent.

Will sign petition for moving BH to Oxford any time! Great idea on a monumental scale!

95 - yep, lets face facts here Ewan. We are here all year round as your very own little BH support network. We're like Mitchell's gang of Bristol vampires...

Hi I'm Warwickshire Rose and it's been 30hours since my last full BH episode. I'm getting by with the odd hit from Youtube, but it's not working. I just feel the need pumping through my veins... when I'm not watching it, all the memories start to come back to me... I remember their names, the blood. I tried to recruit my friend, but I didn't know how...
