On any Being Human shoot there are two important locations...

The first is the set itself, where the cameras, crew and actors do their thing. The second is the unit base, a massive 'travelling circus' of lorries that set up close by to house the production team. This is where shoots are planned, actors are rushed into make-up and, most importantly, Tom the runner refills his tea urn.

The man in charge of keeping the unit base running smoothly is everyone's farourite 2nd Assistant Director, Derek, and he kindly agreed to spend a day showing us around.

Now, he looks like a nice guy, but if you don't keep to his schedule... well, let's put it this way, they don't call him 'Mad Axeman Derek' for nothing. Oh, wait, actually I'm being told they don't call him that. But he will give you a VERY ANGRY LOOK.

Be warned.

Bossy red head 'I love hamsters' Derek is great! Tom and Tovey make an appearance too. *waves*
I think I love Derek a bit more than Tom though, sorry Tom. ;D

  • Comment number 2.

Thanks guys...dunno about the rest of you but not knowing anything about how tv shows/films are made I found this really interesting. What do ya mean Derek is mad axeman...the man's a sweetie....love that accent!
I don't know, you can't keep a good Russell down.waving to the non-existant paps....Derek's there to keep the stalker fans away methinks...talking of eagle...

  • Comment number 3.

OOOOh! New vid. Yay! Oh, should probably watch it before making a comment.... oh well. Thanks BH Prod.

  • Comment number 4.

...and what did Tom have stuffed down his tee-shirt.?...keep it clean guys...

  • Comment number 5.

Didnt quite get first on here...!!!!!! Another great vid for the bloggers, very interesting as ever. I love the BH hamsters, they are beautiful.....We have a Syrian hamster called Buddy....so im a huge hamster fan. Wonderful, going to watch Derek again, loved seeing the nerve centre, the trailers, Marcus"s den etc .......

  • Comment number 6.

what's that? Oh yeah, what IS that on his t-shirt? It looks like he's thrown a pint of water at himself too

  • Comment number 7.

Ha, a minute ago no. comments=1....

  • Comment number 8.

FYI - The hamsters are a mother and daughter pair called Pinky & The Brain!

  • Comment number 9.

Hi BHTeam..where is Sinead's trailer thingy and why no mention of her.?...she's every which way a main character in BH2 and all twitter/bloggers love her cos ahe writes tweets to us ( yeh...you're not the only ones see...)
    Sending love to Sinead...and she's Irish..not that I'm biased...

  • Comment number 10.

Pinky and the brain... unoriginal but sooo cute that they are tame, well cared for hamsters. I kept hamsters for years, they can be vicious. Derek is seriously brave. ;)

  • Comment number 11.

Hello Super, Brown, Beatrice, Brilliant and BH production team!

Another great video with gives a fantastic insight into how a TV programme is made. I've never really thought about all of this stuff before! It looks relatively easy being an actor when you see what everyone else has to do!

SuperOchre (1), I agree I love Derek a little bit more than Tom too!
Brown, I also love his accent!

Loved seeing Russell too....as I've said before, Russell seems a real pleasure to work with, and very entertaining too!

I could do with one of those umbrella things, that's for sure, especially today!

Right, off to have a little (OK, big!) glass of wine now, and will no doubt speak more to you all a bit later on.

Thanks again BH production team. xxx

  • Comment number 12.

Yes we had hamsters for many years particularly when my daughter was young....they didn't seem to last too long..don't think I'll go there..

Well enjoyed this..my first blog vid that I've seen at same time as all other bloggers. Agree that Derek is no way scary....I never used to find red haired men that fanciable...until Dermot Gavin hit the screens some years ago ( landscape gardener for all you young things ...ok...makes me sound ancient so will shut up ). But Derek is a lovely ..young..man. His job sounds exhausting but very interesting. And he gets to meet and talk with all those lovely people we met on Saturday.
Agree with brownirisheyes...why no mention of Sinead?...I had the impression on sat. that she was a major part of the second series.

  • Comment number 13.

Hi all...didn't even see this new vid...what am I like?

Tom and that t-shirt...looked like he had an ECG machine secreted about his person and it was taking his heart rate....or maybe he had that double-strength stuff under his clothing, the kind Aidan had to wear when he was staked by Herrick at the house...it looked a bit uncomfortable.

Nothing about Sinead, Annie or Aidan...maybe they've got a bit of time off or something or their filming is elsewhere..Russell looked hot though...I love his coat, that's what I was after and could I find one? Russell...where do you get your lovely duffel-style coat, hun? lol

Be a second he said....cos we all want to be everything else other than what Derek is (gorgeous Scottish accent...I do love Celtic accents...grrrr)...well there's an opening, ladies...hehe

  • Comment number 14.

I understand the thing about never finding red heads attractive because I have the same POV with natural blondes. Just- no.

Red heads, brunettes, fellow copper heads- yup but blondes- N-O! It's a weird thing I have.

Maybe the cast were busy or they risked over exposure after the Mayhem meet so they showed us hamsters to distract us. ;)

  • Comment number 15.

anglo: at least they mentioned Aidan and Lenora and showed their trailer thingys....but I ask again ..why no mention of our new darling Sinead?

Dorina:..read your comments on my YT vids and ty. I'm thinking that you must stop blaming your comments on your daughter...I'm thinking you are one hot mama! ( if you're like my mama you'll take that in the spirit intended)...and yeh...I do know who Dermot Gavin is....he's from Dublin and my mama used to have the hots for him!

  • Comment number 16.

Looking for a sinead update? Here it is!

  • Comment number 17.

    Thats BH Prod!
    Love the hamsters *steals* :P

  • Comment number 18.

    Haha I can't spell
    *THANKS BH Prod!

  • Comment number 19.

Also, a quick message to those people following @lenoracrichlow on Twitter...

Lenora has been speaking to us and would like to let everyone know that this is NOT her. She was first made aware of this Twitter feed at the Nottingham Being Human event last weekend when fans mentioned it to her, but our Lenora does not actually have a Twitter feed and would like to make that clear.

Bear this in mind when following updates from this source in future.

Sorry to break this news, guys...

  • Comment number 20.

Yay for new video! Yay for Being Human! Yay for hamsters! Yay for very short responses!

    *runs off*

  • Comment number 21.

BH Prod - Yeah we knew. Some out our lot who asked her! Thanks for the heads up anyway...

  • Comment number 22.

    Hi Barry

Thanks again for letting everyone know the Lenora on Twitter is not real. I was there in Nottingham when (I think it was Eagle?) Eagle mentioned it. You'll be glad to know that the @LenoraCritchlow on Twitter doesn't have any followers anymore!

  • Comment number 23.

Barry BH PROD: It's just one of those things...some of us at Mayhem mentioned it to her and she hadn't a clue poor girl...it's no-one fault and the only person who should feel bad about it is the one who is the imposter.. it's not clever, just silly, and it's made them look an idiot.

Lovely of you to have mentioned it to us though, so thank you for taking the time to do that...there was a guy called Aidan Turner on there at one point who, though he never said he was THE Aidan Turner, certainly never denied it and seemed to be enjoying the attention...we cottoned onto him pretty quickly and no-one follows him now that I know of.

    Thanks again Barry and Team!

  • Comment number 24.

Brown: Forgotten they'd mentioned the trailers for Aidan and Lenora...and not Sinead....was the vid done when she was back in London I wonder...she has just come back to Bristol from there a few days back...lovely Sinead! A bit more of her next time would be nice..

You off dancing tonight or tomorrow night brown?

  • Comment number 25.

BHTeam...thanks for response #16...I had seen this Nina vid. Not having a go at all...guys you have to know that you are the BEST production team ...ever...are any award things coming up for production of websites cos you'll get ...millions of votes!!!

As Sinead says....I was just sayin....

  • Comment number 26.

Hiya gang! *hugz everyone* Ahh, as usual, I'm late to the party! ;) How are we all happy and healthy this noisy (bloomin' fireworks and police cars!) Friday night?

*waves at Derek* Now here's another man with a really difficult job! Bless ya - looks like you're on our list of people we love now, Derek! ;) Right there with Marcus, Tom and the hard-working Blog team!

Do we know if the cast member who had the car accident is alright? *hopes* Send them my best wishes, wontcha?

Aha, and its lovely to see Pinky and The Brain in the fur, as it were. ;) *grinz*
    ^^ KC

  • Comment number 27.

hi KC..yeh...sorry fogotten about 'the supporting artist' who had the car accident..hope all is well.

anglo; yeh..dancing shoes on and shortly out...tomorrow just hanging out with friends. Enjoy your wk.

  • Comment number 28.

KC: Hi there...long time, no see on blog :)

You know...I think we should have a party...cast, all crew and we hard-line bloggers...it'd be great to get together with everyone and have a ball wouldn't it? May not happen but I can dream, can't I? lol

Hope the cast member who had the accident is OK...give our best ones, guys.

THanks to all who made this vid and this amazing series possible, all those behind-the-sceners we seldom know of and hardly ever see...and it was lovely to see gorgeous Tom again! Keep up the good work peeps :-D

  • Comment number 29.

Hi..not sure how this works...once new vid is up does eveyone stop looking at previous blog?..if so..could all bloggers who make vids please see my comment on end of last blog.
Anglo: thanks for your comment...good to know that my Aidan comments are ..shall I say...in line with others!

Brown ..it's quite some time since I was called a hot mama..you've made my day!

  • Comment number 30.

Hi Dorina, yes we generally stop commenting on old vid & move to new one, to "ease congestion", 400+ comments and some...ummm...more mature PC's.....get a bit slow and cranky :P

  • Comment number 31.

Anglo: Pmsl at your comment! What the hell is she looking at then??

  • Comment number 32.

ATfan1: God knows...I expected her to say oh the guy who plays Mitchell is just gorgeous, etc., etc....and she said Russell was "lovely" which he is of course...it's just that it was totally unexpected from her...the fact it had taken 3 minutes of her time to actually have a proper conversation with me in three and a half years nearly, says something...and when she does talk, she says that....well, it's what she didn't say really..some people, eh? lol

  • Comment number 33.

    (28) anglo: ooh, a ball? Are we talking fancy-pants dressy ball here? Cos' if we are, I'll second you and choose the BH white tie event over the crummy year 11 do to which I feel obliged to go....

  • Comment number 34.

    oh, hope supporting artit's ok

  • Comment number 35.

oh drat, my fingers have gone silly "artist" *creeps away and hides in corner*

  • Comment number 36.

Oooh BT when's your ball then? I remember my prom...great fun :) You should definitly go....

  • Comment number 37.

  • Comment number 38.

*Definitely* lol. Hmm, not sure when, still a little while away, but people are ALREADY talking about who they're going with and from which school.... I think I'll just go with my best friend, we can stand and compare dresses in the corner

  • Comment number 39.

Thanks BT. You see what I spent my English lessons doing in school...:S

Yeah go for it, might as well go, don't need a date as such. Just make sure you don't wear the same dress!

  • Comment number 40.

Hi guys....I was thinking more about a get together in a restaurant...us bloggers and the BH team....in Bristol of course or London possibly...I'd go just for the craic, it'd be fun just seeing them and talking to them again after Nottingham...silly cos it ain't going to happen but it's fun imagining it!

  • Comment number 41.

Lol. I'd sit opposite Aidan obviously....
    Then Eagle & Russell?
:P Lol. Seating plan would be a NIGHMARE.

  • Comment number 42.

    Attack of the failed spelling.

  • Comment number 43.

    Righty, telly time!
    Night all speak soon x

  • Comment number 44.

Gotta leave you folk for a while...back later but not too much later! x

  • Comment number 45.

Hi ATFan 1...thanks for heads up on previous blogs. So- can I say Thank You to Eagel-eye, brownirisheyes and Cieria for their BH/Aidan vids swhich have cheered me up on a wet miserable day. Will look at others over weekend.

Anglo..get together with cast/bloggers ..great idea...providng I was sitting next to Aidan..after all..the sweet boy needs the love of a slightly older woman..I think thats the line I'm taking and..frankly..the only one which keeps him safe from the younger bloggers who may not know how to handle such a hot man...I am only here thinking about the welfare of most of the female bloggers you understand..and not at all about my own....needs.
    ( sorry.daughter..what daughter?)

  • Comment number 46.

Well, I'd sit next to Gilbert (no not Alex Price, Gilbert). At least then I'd have someone to talk to.... I have a feeling that the conversation would range from 'The Smiths' to 'The Smiths'.

  • Comment number 47.

Dorina: (45) haha...oh you and VF and I are so going to have fun with this.. you see, some weeks ago, some poor younger women on this blog decided that, well, the vampire we know and love would of course prefer them because of their youth and vigour....

I on the other hand, knew differently, and voiced my concerns...after all, I pointed out, he was actually over a 100 years old in human terms (in vampire terms he was only 26 or so, but let's not quibble over trifles), so actually all we ladies over 30 (!) would really be more his thing than some younger model as it were...we are a lot more experienced and can handle such danger... we know a few tricks or two....and now we have you to fight our corner as well, as it were...I can see we 30+ ladies are going to get on famously. hehe

Beatrice: Well I guess conversation with Gilbert would be difficult but I reckon Alex is a lot of fun in real life...he'd be invited to the party, along with all the 'dead' cast like Lauren, Seth, Herrick, Josie..it'd be a blast...

God I didn't realise how tired I was...I'm going to have to head off girls... have lovely dreams of parties and Aidan and the usual stuff we do on here..

    night night x

  • Comment number 48.

Anglo (47). Us over 30's are definitely a lot more graphic in our descriptions, that's for sure!

Looking forward to seeing the recording they did last Saturday in Nottingham, as long as I don't appear on it anywhere!

Right, I'm off now, but sure I'll be back tomorrow.

Just watched Autumnwatch, maybe I'll go on their blog now. It's the same as this but everyone has user names like "Squirrel Nutkins" or "Dormouse"!!!

  • Comment number 49.

Look, everybody! Toby Whithouse approves of us!

"Our fans could take their fans any day,” he declares, bravely. “The Being Human fans are extremely tenacious and mobilised.”

I feel a warm glow of pride.

    Link to article: https://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/michaeldeacon/100015816/twilight-with-robert-pattinson-is-the-worst-film-ever/

  • Comment number 50.

    Hi ecurve!
I saw that article...I think our average age is older than the average age of Twilight fans. Toby's absolutely right though!

  • Comment number 51.

Thanks for this article ecurve...ok..I've not watched any Twilight but Toby's right "Our fans could take their fans any day,” he declares, bravely. “The Being Human fans are extremely tenacious and mobilised.”

In the words of my generation..bring it on..!

  • Comment number 52.

    (47) anglo: no, conversation with Gilbert would be fun. I was being serious. Anyone who has a walkman and listens to 'The Smiths' is greater than god....

  • Comment number 53.

    (49) ecurve: Yayness! Yeuck, apparently Pattison doesn't shower or wash his hair and 'Bella' said she wouldn't do the 2nd film if they didn't make him. Pretty poor going for Britains supposedly most attractive-teen export.

  • Comment number 54.

    Anyway, must go. nightynight all.

  • Comment number 55.

Yay!!! Hi Derek!! and Hi again Tom!! (BTW Tom is waaaaay cuter, he he)

Love these behind the scenes vids.. seeing how it's all put together is just so cool!!

And don't worry.. we all un-followed Fake Lenora... there were suspicions but now we know for sure and I've told people that didn't realise and still commented to her about her being totally fake. God knows why someone would pretend to be someone else... really must have no life!

  • Comment number 56.

Those were two cute hamsters, I used to have hamsters, now I have a rat called Owen, neamed before I started watching BH, I don't know why I chose Owen, suppose I could have called him Ben, but that's a bit Willard and look what happened to him!

  • Comment number 57.

wooooooooooooo BH nihgt no blog really have vodka and BH good times :-)

Thanks for the official note Mr P we did tell people cos it was me who asked her on Saturday but nobody ever listens to me lol so thanks for telling people :-) naughty imposter naughty naughty! :-) Sinead is real though well...you know what i mean

  • Comment number 58.

Phew! Just finished BH night :-D watched back to back including extended/deletes scenes (well the good ones anyway lol) although we skipped episode 2 - I love all the George/Nina ness but man friend was impatient for the vampire and werewof sexy times lol and of course Gilbert fun :-P hardly drank anything couldnt tear bum off sofa to get it lol I've seen them so many times now but still completely engrossing :-D

Oh and yay big up for Barry :-) we do love you Mr P and for all the newbies he is a very talented man you should check out his youtube videos :-) (Seriously Mr P I should be on comission dont you think? :-)) but boooooooo for naughty Lenora imposter

  • Comment number 59.

Cant read all comments should really be going bedroomwards but just noticed the "our fans could take their fans" is this in reference to twilight fans? If so then yes we so could lol I work in a cinema so witnesssed the twilight fanbase last time and we could sooooo take em lol and yay for Toby approving of us :-D althougn im not sure what more "mobilised" means does this just mean that BH fans are actually old enough to drive lol

  • Comment number 60.

Also noticed big up to Sinead - I'll second that one too :-D Yeah ok ok Im going but hey theres a lot of loving going on tonight and Im missing out on it all :-P

So yay for Mr P and yay for Sinead and yay for real Lenora although tell her she should get on twitter :-P and Russell...Aidan maybe not because I dont think the other female bloggers could quite cope with the excitement but it doesnt take long...just one tweet a day would do :-P

  • Comment number 61.

Morning all...done the shopping, hairdressers (just a trim thank god...you have to hang onto it at my age) lol and dipping in and out of this inbetween cleaning everywhere..tomorrow it's yet another birthday card hunt after a long lie-in and a bacon sarnie for a treat when I get back...yum!

Toby's comment on new Twilight film was interesting...I like a man who says it like it is and if that's what he feels, then hey, he should know, he's written BH after all...Twilight has never appealed to me, but I'd check it out just to make my own mind up.

He was right about the fans too...teenage girl fans of Twilight might strike fear into the heart of most people but we BH fans have (metaphorical) claws and we're a wily bunch...we can handle them :-)

Tom is getting better and better...bless...he's lovely but they all seem to be....how big are those trailers I wonder? Couldn't really tell...wouldn't mind having a look inside one...just to be inquisitive..

  • Comment number 62.

BH PROD: Was the person in the car crash injured at all...was a bit worried when I heard about that....feedback would be great...give them our best wishes and hope they're up and about soon.

  • Comment number 63.

Hello all. Well, well; nobody's commented for HOURS.

  • Comment number 64.

  • Comment number 65.

Finally watched the video yay :-) another brilliant one thanks Mr P and Super I think I agree - he is very loveable...we're so fickle aren't we we were shouting "We love Tom" last Saturday and a week later "We love you Derek!" Lol.

Was the person in the car accident ok? Well she was able to ring in sick so I suppose she cant have been that badly hurt :-)

Derek - I want to be a runner, well to start with anyway, so to me a 2nd AD IS pretty glamorous lol seems like a great job...and I agree don't trust Russell to go anywhere on his own :-P and yay for pinky and the brain - we thought they were werewolf food but maybe not eh :-)

  • Comment number 66.

Hi folks, back again...been a bit nutty today..

Anyone who is into werewolves, there's a new film out in February called The Wolfman....it's a remake of one which came out years ago, here's the link if anyone's interested in checking out a preview...got to say, the werewolf/ wolfman's transformation looks pretty astonishing...if it's as good as it looks all the way through the film, I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Those hamsters in the vid...made me laugh....soon as Derek held one, the little thing gave the camera a disgusted look and turned it's back on it...a bit of a critic perhaps? lol

  • Comment number 67.

BH PROD TEAM: I think your blog site is still a bit hormonal! (well it was a full moon a few days ago)...

When the page is refreshed, about 50% of the time the background goes black, the text is red, blue and every colour under the rainbow, some of the pictures disappear as does the previous video list at the bottom...even the shape of the comments box changes and becomes much smaller...a couple of refreshes later and it goes back to normal, only to do the same thing a bit later on..are there still problems at your end? Would really appreciate some help on this please...

    Many thanks. x

  • Comment number 68.

Im off to watch BH ep 6, Im not exactly seeing them back to back, but enjoyed the deleted/extended scenes yesterday. Our hamster Buddy says Hi to Pinky & The Brain....are they little Russian or Chinese hamsters ?I know Syrians like to be solitary.
Cant make my mind up about Twilight, read 3 books, not seen any films yet.....but you bet we can take those fans on.!!

  • Comment number 69.

Lol anglo theres also a film coming out in February called "Dogging: a love story" so something for everyone it seems lol and before someone asks me how the hell I know that it wasn't an embarrassing google session lol I work in a cinema I know the release schedule for about a year ahead at any one time. Theres also a new vampire film coming out which sounds fab but can't for the life of me remember what it's called now :-S not the cirque du freak one another one early 2010 hmm will have a butchers next time I'm at work...

  • Comment number 70.

Eagle: Hi there...the vamp/werewolf thing is really taking off....I think I know the film you're on about but can't remember the name either...would love to see The Wolfman because I think the original had Oliver Reed in it but can't remember that either lol...Dogging: A Love Story....I dread to think exactly that is about...the only dogging I know about doesn't have anything to do with werewolves, that's for sure ;-)

Brilliant: Hi there..don't know much about hamsters, I'm afraid...apart from the fact that they're cute and don't live long lol haven't got into Twilight at all..I'm a bit selective! Maybe I will one day when I have a boring Sunday afternoon and is peeing with rain or something lol

  • Comment number 71.

Hi all, (don't pay the ransom, I've escaped!!)

A very belated hello to Derek...got to say ...you do have hair like a mad axe-man...but what an interesting job and how lovely was litle hammy.
Is it me, or did anyone else get a warm, fuzzy at the fact that they now assume that we know who Tom and Marcus are....makes you feel part of the family doesn't it?. Sorry if I am rambling but just watched EP 4...it has that effect on me.

  • Comment number 72.

Right, had chance to catch up now..
First of all, thanks Team for introducing us to Derek (I want his job).
Thanks for introducing us to Hammies..so cute.
Thanks for Sinead's little vid.I will always remember how lovely and chatty she was with me at Nottingham.
And finally (with apologies if this has been sorted) Twilight obsessive nut-job fans against BH obsessive nut-job fans...well, bring it on. There is only ever going to be one outcome. Hehe

  • Comment number 73.

I'm conflicted. I am a Twi fan. Although I've never tried to push RP under a car and the thought of watching New Moon in a cinema full of screaming girls is my worst nightmare. I also know that the books are terrible but the films are so appealing, I am easily seduced by cheekbones and brooding vampires. It's my only weakness.
I know we could take on the die-hard Twi fans! And the comment from Toby is correct, we are tenacious and mobilised. We might be fewer in numbers but our higher IQ average would ensure our win.
That said I'm still trying to figure out how to watch New Moon without having to endure the hormonal teen masses.
Sometimes you can't explain why you like something.. you just do.

  • Comment number 74.

Hello to you all...much better day here after yesterday's monsoon so will be getting out shortly. Never watched Twilight and have no desire to join screaming masses of teen lovelies....did enough of that taking daughter to various concerts in the past!
I've seen the books around though.not worth reading you say superOchre?

  • Comment number 75.

Hi super::'tenacious and mobilised'...yeah, love it. Got to admit. I haven't seen Twilight so it is easier for me to dismiss it when I shouldn't ....but as far as I.Q?, well mine has been tested and resulted as 148 which represents 1% of the population!!...I know, who'd a thought it?! Dopey, love-sick vampfan has a brain although she does her best to hide it...Hehe

  • Comment number 76.

    Hello all.
Yes I am a Twi-Fan too, not obsessive though!

  • Comment number 77.

VF, Super, Dorina: Afternoon...and a cold, rainy one at that...have to pop out shortly for a couple of hours but will be back to blog as usual later.

Bring on the USA teen Twilighters...no contest hehe

VF: Isn't IQ of 148 bordering on MENSA membership? Seriously, I thought it was....you'll be joining the likes of Stephen Hawking, Brooke Shields (yes, really), Jimmy Saville....hmmmm....on second thoughts is that something you'd want to do?

What can we talk about next....I love Derek's mad hair...makes me want to run my fingers through it...I have a thing about Celtic men...you may have noticed...hehe

  • Comment number 78.

ATfan1: Hi there...good weekend so far?

  • Comment number 79.

Anglo: Yes lovely thanks. Had the whole day to myself yesterday, so went down to see my boys and give them some exercise. One came in from the field with a large gash on a hind leg, but all's well now.

& My IQ is like 136, so not too bad :P
No where near MENSA level though lol.

  • Comment number 80.

    Hi everyone!

I hated Twilight and everything it stood for so I decided to read the books and watch the film before I carried on ripping it and the fans. My brother told me not to, he reckons they put hidden messages in the film to hypnotise women. :p He might just be right because I got drawn into the hysteria. The books aren't very good, no. But they don't need to be. Some of the fan fic is streets ahead of the writing ability of the original author. :/ Still it's really addictive and I love RP just a teeny bit.

Being Human doesn't need to play on any of that though. Although AT now has quite a tenacious fanbase. Plus men and women really enjoy BH which Twi could never manage.

I.Q tests are a bit pointless. They test the person's ability to pass I.Q tests and very little else. Intelligence can be measured in lots of ways.

I love Derek's hair too. More Derek please! ;)

    anglo/AT Hiya..
Yes, I was invited to join MENSA (God, this sounds sooo naff) but was only 14 at the time and had just discovered boys...so was desperate not to look like a geek!! (How 'bout this for irony...I took the test in Nottingham!!) I found and lost my brain in the same place!! with a few years in between.

    Everybody well?

  • Comment number 82.

    Haha VF :P
You should have gone for it.....
What is your job btw? Something intellectual?

  • Comment number 83.

Thanks for that super....nice to know my little bit of brain-power has no use whatsoever...Hehe

  • Comment number 84.

    Hi again all...

Boys....yes, we couldn't do without 'em! My IQ is only 130 so MENSA was off limits to me...but the boys made up for it...had my first major kiss (but it was very chaste, it had to be) at 11...haven't totally stopped since hehe

ATfan1: hope your boy (horse) is OK now...fetlock, was it, or higher?

  • Comment number 85.

Oh well, got to go out, back around 3pm ish....face this awful weather but if not I won't be eating tonight!

    See yous later..

  • Comment number 86.

AT::: not anymore..but used to have a quite interesting job...when I was a person, before I became a Mum. But as super quite rightly says IQ and knowing stuff is not the same thing. And although it was and is a great source of pride to my parents, I have always been a bit embarassed by it.

  • Comment number 87.

LOL sorry vf. That's not what I meant. I know this guy who has an incredibly high I.Q and he told me that the tests are pretty pointless. They just test a person's ability to pass that type of test. A bit like how in schools they teach you how to pass a test instead of actually giving you a wide variety of knowledge. If you take the test more than once your results will jump up because you know what they expect.
I can talk for England about this and it's very dull so I'll stop now. :p

Back to hair... you could try to run your fingers through it but it looks like you'd get tangled up in gel. ;) Still love his hair though.

  • Comment number 88.

I'm so going for the hair-gel-runner-througher of AT's hair job if there is ever a vacancy...I'll pay them to let me do it :P

  • Comment number 89.

    Bye Anglo, see you later.

Oh, and everybody. Don't forget the lovely JB is on Family Fortunes tonight - ITV1 at 7.15 :D

  • Comment number 90.

super (87)...I know what you mean...I used to work with a guy who was 150...an absolute little little sweetie...but when we were giggling around the mess table at daft little jokes,,he used to giggle with us, then say "I don't get it"...he could see to bigger picture but just didn't get the daft stuff.

    AT:: JB? does eagle know?

  • Comment number 91.

    No idea :P
It hasn't been very well publisized (how do you spell that???).

Hi ATfan, VF, anglo, Super and anyone else out there!

Just thought I'd say Hi! Still waiting to see your photos from Nottingham Vampfan...I'd love to see them! You can see mine if you join Twitter!

Does anyone go on the BH Facebook page?...see link to side of this page. Something interesting has appeared on there. I don't know whether you need to be signed up for Facebook to be able to access it.

I've seen Twilight. It's a typical Hollywood film for teenagers. It's OK, but nothing special and I don't know what all the hype is about Robert Pattinson (maybe I'd understand if I was younger!).
Still, I'd like to see the new film when it's out (next week?), but will wait a while before I see it.
I was in HMV yesterday. The whole store is filled with Twilight and Robert Pattinson and vampires!!

Of course, Toby Whithouse is right, us BH fans could have Twilight fans any day.....although a hoard of screaming Robert Pattinson fans is quite frightening!

  • Comment number 93.

Whats the "interesting" thing? Theres so much new stuff since I last looked....

  • Comment number 94.

Is this that video? What is going on there? Transformation? Or is he running away?

  • Comment number 95.

Joooos, ATfan1, VF, Super....back again...weather dried up a bit but still very November-ish...this is probably because it is November!

Joooos1: What's the intersting thing on Facebook? I've just joined Facebook (didn't take long because I've put next to nothing on it!)...so where do I look please?

ATfan1: I put a link up about a new film coming out in February which has an interesting looking transformation scene...https://bit.ly/J5qtX see what you think...wouldn't mind seeing it...Anthony Hopkins is in it and Benicio del Toro and Emily Blunt...surprised Aidan isn't in it somewhere, I could just imagine him getting his kit off with Emily B hehe

And how are all today? VF - you been busy this weekend, you normally are with dog shows and people and catering and the vampire...lol

  • Comment number 96.

Afternoon peeps..back from a lovely lunch with Man's family and nice walk. Just spotted this on YT...I love it.

ok.what's on Facebook that I should know about?
Back later..have to go and do some work now.

  • Comment number 97.

    Hi all....

Brown: Thanks for the vid.....yt is down for maintenance so I'll tune in later...I'm sure I'll like it whatever it is as it has Aidan in it! Glad you've had a nice day.

Don't know what's on FBk either....have joined and had a look....obviously missed it by a mile lol...any help here guys, please?

  • Comment number 98.

Just seen Joooos1 and Brown's clinic vids again....have kind of got them into the right order....love seeing Ruairi snuffling away on Grace's shoulder... if they want a spare actor, they know where to look hehe

The vids are slowly gaining views and doing pretty well considering they cater to a reasonably small audience (so far....wait until we've converted a few people)!

  • Comment number 99.

Joooos: (92) Think I've found the Fbk thing...is it that vid of a certain person writhing around in the street and screaming? Sounded like something horrendous had happened... we'll have to wait for January to see...god, it looked good though..it didn't give anything away which was good because we have loads to look forward to still, and don't have a clue to what that snippet was in aid of...

Talking of aid (Aidan) which we weren't...last night's Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith...Natalie Portman was in it again...she is minute, must be as petite as Sinead but looked even smaller..she has a new film coming out where she plays a ballet dancer which isn't hard because she does ballet...perfect size for it, too.

Anglo (99). That's what I was on about! Poor George!

Think I'm coming down with something, I really do! I hope I feel OK tomorrow.

Brown (96). Thanks for the link, am in the middle of watching it.

    See you all tomorrow.
