It's time to welcome back one of our favourite faces from BH series one - legendary make-up designer Marcus Whitney.

His handiwork was responsible for all the glitz, glamour and gore of the first series, but today he's got an easy job... a haircut and a bit of make-up for Russell Tovey.

Did I mention I love Russell just a tiny bit? :-D thanks blog team this is just what I needed to cheer me up before entering the hell hole that is my place of work lol

Oh and Anglo thanks so much for that message on the other page thats really nice of you - made me smile :-) might have to take you up on the offer at some point in the future :-)

  • Comment number 2.

How am I supposed to keep up the George group if I can't see the vids :(

  • Comment number 3.

    Ahh lovely Russell!

  • Comment number 4.

Ahaa, the lovely Russell is back, looking not too American Tan thank goodness....very manly, nice hair....you're many with or without ingrowing hairs, pet!

BH PROD TEAM: I could say more here but I'm not going to....I can keep secrets too hehe

  • Comment number 5.

....incidentally, that should be manly, not many...here we go again.

  • Comment number 6.

Hi all, quickie as getting changed then out...

Nice banter between these two..don't cha love Russell's laugh!
Would have loved to have seen vid of Marcus applying 'blood and gore' in vampire scenes.

Oh and...ok...the word 'chair' is in the title but..kinda hoping for more ..you know what I mean BHteam!

Anglo...spill the beans ..what do you know that we don't?

Maybe talk later tonight or tomorrow

  • Comment number 7.

Eagle:: Oh have a good time at work; well, as good as it gets anyway lol No worries about the staying for a short while stuff...you will have to share the room with my computer though...hope that's OK for you....it behaves itself mostly!

  • Comment number 8.

Love the smile... waiting on YouTube for this one... that is a whole test of endurance, going through that much make-up. Kudos to Russell for his patience!

  • Comment number 9.

    Hello everyone!

    Very glam Russell!

BH PROD TEAM: Can Marcus do my hair & make-up please?

  • Comment number 10.

Well, there I was, went out for an invigorating walk, froze myself silly and came back to find this vid....

Russell is looking very good ....seems to have lost a bit of weight, but I can't quite see why though....he looked gorgeous before....unless it was for the more action-type stuff I think they might have to do this time. If it's getting fiesty, then I can understand the working out but I hope he doesn't lose too much weight...a girl has to have something to hang on to.....grrrrr (eagle, take note)

  • Comment number 11.

Hi Joooos and Monster, how're doin?

Hasn't Russell got a fab laugh? Amongst other stuff...

BH PROD TEAM:: For the next vid or two, can we see other cast members getting their make-up done, please? It's fascinating, watching all this because most of us haven't a clue what goes on back-stage...takes me back to school plays and panstick and the excitement...nostalgia, nostalgia!

  • Comment number 12.

Aww. Russell's lovely isn't he? I don't think we say it enough. He's wonderful.

Thanks for the vid team. :)

  • Comment number 13.

I suspect Russell dropped some weight and gained some muscle--Aidan made note of it in the last video. (Sadly this is on YouTube now but still not available worldwide, so now I'm waiting patiently for someone to do a mirror!) But then, if you're going to be naked before the WORLD, you'd be a bit body-conscious as well!

  • Comment number 14.

Hi C: Yep, he is....lovely eyes....and that laugh....glad I'm not the only one who has a loud laugh hehe

Monster: But his bod was lovely before and we saw rather a lot of it... it didn't bother us, hell, we've all got 'em, what's the big deal...I can understand a bit of muscle for the more active scenes but he wasn't overweight...like I said, a girl needs something to hold on to!

  • Comment number 15.

Yeah his eyes are lovely. Very blue. But also his personality. He seems like he'd be a great person to have as a friend... Though he maybe completely different in real life. But I dunno. He seem genuine and cool.

  • Comment number 16.

Hard to say what his personality could be at his level of career success! ;-) Fame changes you, man, it changes you! LOL! But, yes, there's every indication of him being at the VERY least capable of empathy and kindness.

So what's going on in this vid? Is he getting a full werewolf treatment here with the contacts and teeth and all, or just a little extra hair? (with an Irish brogue) "Describe it, man!"

  • Comment number 17.

C:: Yes, he comes across as being a lovely bloke, pretty genuine. I know he's better known here than in the States but I don't know how much better...mind you, I'd never heard of him before BH but then I'd never seen the History Boys or his episodes of Dr Who!

Monster: I think he's getting a little light make-up to start with, and a haircut, but heaven knows what came after....it'd be great if they gave us another vid with the end result, and/or the others getting made up, too, blood, scars, the works hehe

  • Comment number 18.

Ah, he's being "prettified"! Not that there's much work that needs to go into that, eh? ;-)

His star is slowly ascending here in the States. The Emmy wins for "Little Dorrit" helped most recently--his is one of the most heart-wrenching yet noble scenes in it ("All the time I was breakin' my heart over her... she was breakin' hers over you"). The "Being Human" panel at the ComicCon helped as well. "History Boys" on Broadway warmed him up to American audiences first, though.

  • Comment number 19.

Monster: Didn't know he was as well-known over there....forgot about Little Dorrit which I also haven't seen but read years ago....he does heart-wrenching scenes to absolute perfection, real emotion in there "And then what? And then...?" "Then there was this"....

We loved the vids of Comic Con....Eagle did that amazing vid on YouTube with bits of that incorporated but I guess you've probably seen that, set to Sexy Back and Sex on Fire...loved it..can't get enough!

  • Comment number 20.

BH PROD TEAM::: And who is in the little room next door to Russell and Marcus, being made up, cos I'm sure there's someone else in there apart from the make-up girl? Hmmmm? lol

  • Comment number 21.

YAY!! Forgot it was Friday...thankyou team....I loved Marcus from the first time we saw him...He is absolutely every woman's bestest friend in the whole world. You could tell him your deepest, darkest secrets and know he would take them to the grave. I love this man...please tell him so...

    Hi all,....all OK?

  • Comment number 22.

    Hiya gang!! *huggles everyone*

YAYNESS! Anglo, Eagle, MBP: I totally agree with you, my sweet friends! Russell has the lot. The looks, the personality, the humour, oodles and oodles of natural talent, expressions to DIE for and that utterly awesome laugh that just lights up his face. He deserves to finally get the accolades he so richly deserves too.

And Marcus - MWAH and hugz! Love ya babe for all that work you put in that probably won't be noticed on screen but would be conspicuous in its absence! Its heartwarming to see him on the blog again. Keep up the wonderful hair and make-up effects, darlin'!

    ^^ KC

  • Comment number 23.

Hi there Vampy, KC: God, it's all happening tonight...new vid (I've requested more make-up shots of other case members).

Yay for Marcus!! Top man....he sounds so cool....he can do anything.... haircuts, make-up, bit of special effects, you name it....it's great to see behind the scenes because these guys are not paid great money and receive hardly any accolades apart from the odd Oscar-winner or BAFTA prize, so it's good to see the minions get praise....more please, BH Team!

  • Comment number 24.

...oh, and of course Russell who is lovely.....when do we hear him sing because he's got a bit of a voice (bet Aidan can't sing as well somehow)hehe

  • Comment number 25.

Hi anglo...yep..Russell did look particularly lovely..but then, even in my Vamp-eyes, he always does.

Think Russell has got a fab voice (fast car..thankyou)

Don't think the Irishman needs much make-up...but then that's just probably me being all in love with him....

  • Comment number 26.

VF: I really want to hear Russell sing properly....can't someone write a song about Three Thousand Otters, set it to music and then get him to sing it? lol

You're right about AT...he'd need a bit of base make-up and the odd set of fangs but everything else is already in place, as it were, so not too much work there....

By the way, in that lovely pic provided yesterday, did someone notice how his eyebrows weren't quite the same as in the vids, because I don't think they were somehow? Or is that just me? hehe

  • Comment number 27.

....and while we're on the subject of the divine one....have we seen him in a lime-green t-shirt yet? We've seen the red, we've seen the yellow one (a hard colour to carry)...how about lime green? He could do that easily.

That pic is now on my desktop - I can't believe my luck!

  • Comment number 28.

....I mean, talking t-shirts....how about a wet t-shirt....or no t-shirt....a torso shot would be nice....of both Russell and Aidan..... separate pics of course....and without t-shirts....for the sake of appreciation.....please??

  • Comment number 29.

anglo (28) please stop it....am having enough trouble sleeping at the moment without....well you know

  • Comment number 30.

VF:: Oh you are around.....just testing hehe....well, I mean, the wet t-shirt thing is a brilliant idea for both of the guys....but preferably without....

Heck, I see what you mean.....I'm off to watch TV for an hour...back around 10ish *whimpers softly and crawls off to living room*

I won't sleep tonight now either lol...wonder what brown thinks of this idea?

  • Comment number 31.

Not being able to see these videos when they first come out makes it so hard to comment.

I wish I could actually discuss the video, rather than just add various thoughts about how attractive, talented, sexy, gorgeous, funny, dorky (good dorky), and charming Russell Tovey is.

I feel like I've just got a page of random lines about Russell and just copy and paste since none of them are specific to the video that I can't see yet.

  • Comment number 32.

anglo...only just dipped a toe in tonight...got a complete house-full of family for the weekend, ...... sometimes I just wish they would leave me alone (love 'em all dearly) Hehe.

So I may, or may not talk over the weekend. But no matter how many tatties I peel or bottles I open...they cannot take my Aidan/Mitchell thoughts away from me (which is probably why I have taken to burning everything I try to cook...!!)

  • Comment number 33.

Vampy:: Got the feeling you were busy today as you hadn't been on much... have a lovely weekend, we're bound to speak at some point between now and Monday morning when I shall be thinking of you with your cooking, family, washing up, invoices, Aidan/Russell....you'll need a day or two off to recover and not just from the work hehe. Have a great weekend!

Grygazol:: Keep glued to YouTube hun, it'll be on there soon I hope....the vid is basically a couple of minutes of Russell in the make-up trailer... it doesn't reveal a lot but he is just soooo cute and much better looking close-up....and has a joke about being manly and ingrowing chin hairs!!

  • Comment number 34.

Anglo... We've already had the odd no T-shirt one... but think about it... in your love for Aidan do you REALLY want him getting so cold now the weather's turned? lol!!

We need some more Lenora I think.... I mean we get the russel/george shots for his fans, the Aidan/mitchell shots for us fans but we still love Lenora, don't we?

  • Comment number 35.

    Hi all,
anyone seen the Aidan interview on the Desprate Romantics web site. Look at episode 6 he speaks about a private injury he got after filming a marathon sex scene where he had to wear a sock over what he calls his "business" stuck on with double sided tape and how painful it was to take it off every night. Poor baby! On the web site he is also reciting sonnets writen by Rosseti they are fantastic he is so good, Hope he don't take off to LA soon I hear from a girlfriend who works in the business they are sitting up and taking notice of him overthere keep your hands off him he's ours.

  • Comment number 36.

Hi SweetL:: We do indeed love Lenora...it's just me and Vampfan getting terribly excited about a wet t-shirted Russell and Aidan....I thought we could perhaps do the shot indoors so he wouldn't catch his death!

Angifan:: Which Des Rom website is this please, the BBC one or another one? I need to see this urgently!!

  • Comment number 37.

Can't believe you haven't seen it just google Desprate Romantics and go to episode 6 let me know what you think, I have to watch it at least once a week just to cheer me up when i'm down he has such a great laugh. enjoy!!!

  • Comment number 38.

    (35) Literally, a "private" injury! Ow! And imagine how long would it have taken to remove all the tape residue as well. (BTW, thanks for explaining the interview rather than alluding to it, as I can't watch it.) I just picture the poor guy sitting there in tears at such a predicament!

  • Comment number 39.

Anglo it's also worth watching the interviews with Jennie Jacques episode4 who plays Annie and Rebecca Davis episode5 who plays Fanny Aidan reads a sonnet in every episode put it to full screen it's like he's in the room, I WISH

  • Comment number 40.

Angifan:: OMG I've just done the sonnet one AND the interview vid....the blessed things kept 'spooling' when that daft white circle in the middle keeps interrupting the speech...took me ten mins to get through the interview and about four mins each time to do the sonnet. I don't know how that spooling thing happens but I wish it wouldn't it drove me mad... however, I can truthfully say that the knees were extremely weak and I swear I was dribbling at one point...my dreams won't be clean tonight, after that! Thank you for introducing me to those and I will watch the others you recommended too...I shall be recommending them to VF and others when they return, if they havent already seen them of course.

Monster: Yeah, the poor guy had to put some sort of, er, protective garment over the wedding tackle, so to speak, because he did two weeks of sex scenes and because it was double-sided tape, it had to be whipped off each evening (well, carefully removed!) and took bits of him with it...ouch....missed my opportunity to kiss it better there, didn't I!!

Far be it to tell him not to go to the USA but.... DON'T GO AIDAN, WE WANT YOU HERE, THINK WHAT YOU'LL BE MISSING, ALL THESE LOVELY FANS *throws self onto floor pounding carpet with fists and sobbing hysterically*

  • Comment number 41.

Anglo: Thought you would enjoyed them how could you not? I think Jennie Jacques (Annie)looks a great laugh, could she be the new love interest??????

  • Comment number 42.

Brown, C, VF: He can't go to America, at least not for a long time, he just can't....

Brown:: Talk him out of it, lie in wait, anything....well, almost anything....we'll be keeping an eye on you, Vampy and I....but we're so desperate for more of him....I'll even let you use.....The Chair. But I want up-to-date reports on this and other, hemmm, events *coughs discreetly* when I return tomorrow.

Night-night....remember, I want details on Saturday!

  • Comment number 43.

Angifan:: I couldn't find the Jennie Jacques vid interview, the BBC Des Rom site didn't have anything from Episode 5...I'll Google it tomorrow when I have time....thanks for that again, I look forward to it!!

Unsure whether she's the new love interest in BH though....that Lucy woman looked dark haired unless Jennie has had her hair altered completely or is wearing a wig....hmmmm....will bear it in mind though!

    Thanks again hun....see you tomorrow

  • Comment number 44.

Hi everyone. Aww Russell is so patient. I think we need a few more vids of the backstage stuff as that is really interesting to see how its all put together, get the four of them together (can't forget Sinead) and some more of Lenora's smile as she is lovely and charasmatic. Have been having withdrawal symptoms this week as no BH on the beeb and i miss the handsome A and his gorgeous smile. Speaking of which thanks BH Team for the twitpic :) x

Have come across a couple of blogs lately (googling Adian for other projects he's done for interest) *smiling inwardly* and found some graphic blogs from other 'fans' (more like stalkers who don't know when to stop typing) bit scary!

  • Comment number 45.

Evening all....bit wacked after a long week and great evening out so don't know how long before we retire.
Anglo..yeh, VF and I have had many great moments ..back some time ago I think..discussing the 'sock' used by Aidan to cover up his..bits. The Des Rom website was up and running during the time the series was showing in July. Don't know if you'll be able to retrieve the missing interviews and sonnets now ( there were 6 in total) but it's possible they're on the Des Red DVD..I haven't bought it as I have the series on our DVD harddrive

ok..now I'll read back the posts on this vid

  • Comment number 46.

Yeh Racey and everyone else who's asking for more backstage vids...earlier I asked to see a vid of Marcus on set with vampire gore and all..that would be really cool. Of course we want to continue to see vids with the cast in ...I do have a *slight* bias towards the beautiful one but this doesn't stop me wanting to see vids with Russell, Lenora and Sinead in...yeh it's time we had Sinead in a vid I think. But backstage stuff is also really interesting..especially to those of us who don't work in the world of media and have no idea how a tv episode is put togteher.

  • Comment number 47.

Evening all :-) wow a smile after work thats rare lol maybe because I came home to derren brown on the tv and a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge piece of leftover chocolate cake :-D Ok ok diet starts tomorrow :-P

Hows everyone doing then? And ooh yeah can he do my hair and make up too? I never wear make up itd be interesting to see if I actually look more human with a bit of slap on as apposed to my usual state of looking like a torchwood extra (if you dunno what im talking abuot google image "weevil" lol)

  • Comment number 48.

Oh and anglo I did indeed take note but Ive had to change my train of thought I was about to start drooling lol grr indeed...a good grr not an annoyed grr :-P grrrrr

  • Comment number 49.

Am quite sure you don't look like a Weevil that would be disturbing!

Sorry have been getting carried away on the strictly boards and only just catching up - think i will watch the vid again to gather toughts!

BH Team - Question? Why can a feature film be made within 30-46 days (including special fx) but a mini series like BH will be filming until December? Whats so different to create such a difference in filming capacity? am assuming S2 will again be only 6 episodes *although dreaming of more like 10+*

  • Comment number 50.

dirty, dirty laugh - :) leads too dirty flirty thoughts!

  • Comment number 51.

ok I'm on a roll now and Man watching MOBO awards on tv so we're up for a while.

I think it's inevitable that Hollywood will spot our lovely Aidan..not only is he gorgeous he's also a damned good actor ( in my opinion) and I thought he was brilliant as Rossetti. Of course if he's enticed to LA he'll go...but maybe he loves his homeland enough to not stay away too long. At the end of the day he'll go where the work is to develop his career..we want to keep him here? then the Beeb, RTE, ITV and others have got to offer him good roles

  • Comment number 52.

OMG...is anyone watching the MOBO awards? keely Rowlands is managing to murder 'When Love Takes Over'...completely out of tune...perhaps she should be wearing those ear plug things

  • Comment number 53.

eagle: you still here?..have idea for new vid

  • Comment number 54.

Those ear plugs don't always work! think it is us that need them more! Block it out, actually where my mute button!

I can see A being more enticed to maybe do a film within the British film industry a bit like how Russell has done it, he's not as 'plastic' as someone like McAvoy whose taken off in hollywood.

  • Comment number 55.

Not saying James Mc is like a barbie doll or is a wooden actor he just has this image that is more sunset tan than when he first started in Shameless. And A would not look right tangoed!

  • Comment number 56.

Sorry to say, there are Americans mistaking Aiden Turner of "All My Children" for THIS Aidan Turner. A simple vowel but apparently confusing for some.

  • Comment number 57.

You're right Monster..it's not only Americans..half the people putting up vids on YouTube on AidEn Turner spell his name as AidAn turner so they get called up when folk like me are trying to find new vids or artciles online about the only Aidan Turner worth talking about ( in my humble opinin)

Racey...oh but I love James McVoy..gotta go where the work is when you're an actor baby...doesn't mean he's sold out

  • Comment number 58.

I don't think he has sold out as such (and i do admit i have most of his films) but there is a definate change in him from the early days like 'Inside i'm dancing' to him in 'Wanted'. I prefer his early stuff when he was a bit more *raw shall we say.

I agree Brown, for an actor you have to go where there's work until you get to the stage where you can pick and choose. I'll watch anything Adian related regardless ;)

  • Comment number 59.

Yay I've finally come across the freeview opportunity on TCM they're showing classic three stooges! I know its different to Laurell and Hardy but maybe Mitchell can expand? oooh and there's classic Gene Wilder later - think i'll be setting the sky plus!

  • Comment number 60.

Anybody been watching 'True Blood'? Maybe VF...?

  • Comment number 61.

Oh and C - we dont say russell is lovely enough? I don't think I actually have time enough in my life to say it much more lol

Yes his eyes are lovely and yes his body is lovely - it has been since the pilot but there just seems to be getting less and less of him.

Oh and thanks for the vid mention again :-) I will make a "Look how sexy russell is" one soon enough lol but I need to psych myself up a bit otherwise I'll just sit drooling all day and end up with a video thats 3 and a half hours long lol

Oh I do wish theyd stop with the russell videos i cant handle all this russell talk its doing funny things to my tummy and turning my brain to mush lol especially ones like this - at least before I could imagine that he was actually only gorgeous because of the make up but now I know that hes gorgeous before hes even got the stuff on properly

And since everyone else is declaring there love to Marcus I will say...well if Im honest my heart belongs to Russell lol but you're a top fella and very very good and hey I'm here if you fancy a challenge...and I mean a challenge :-S

And yay to more singing from Russell - please please? He really does have a lovely voice - maybe Russell singing a nice tune for Aidan and Lenora to dance too :-P

Oh and a naked photo shoot? Ok our demands are getting a little out of hand no? but hmm wet shirts...hey I know I know I know *hand in air* can you make us a calendar?! lol its nearly calendar time :-D

  • Comment number 62.

Oh and angifan..thanks for nods up to Charlene Mckenna Wikipedia page and her personal column note re splitting with Aidan. Together with article I posted on previous vid blog from Irish mag ( Trio at BBC HQ blog) I think we can say they have split up. Said all I needed to say on this subject on that last blog.

Watching the fantastic Shakhira on BBC2 Jools Holland at moment..if you're up watch her.

  • Comment number 63.

Ooh Brown vid idea - go for it :-)

Kinda planning a Russell one but dont think Im gonna do an "Im so sexy" one since I did that for Aidan think I'll do a "I'm gorgeous and just generally wonderful" one lol think thatll work :-P

  • Comment number 64.

brown - vid idea go for it :-) sorry net being pain as always

  • Comment number 65.

Oh ok it already posted - sorry didnt think it had worked :-S see net = pain lol

  • Comment number 66.

agree with you eagle re wet tee shirts for the boys..somehow I've never thought this worked for men as well as for women ( Man reading this over my shoulder and says 'yeh to that'...oh, he also says he loved your comment last night about him tottering off to the kitchen...yes I do read him some of this stuff!)

ok...new vid..not sure you'll be with me on this one...

First up the song: I'm Not Dead by Pink
ok...stange choice but bear with me....
I'm thinking that the lyrics are so well suited to the situation that our 4 heroes ( yes, time to include Sinead now I believe) are in with their 'conditions'. So....the lyrics would tie in great ( I think) with a vid with all 4 of them in which somehow shows their struggles etc...this wouldn't be a 'romantic' vid but a dramatic one

If you don't like that idea how about a vid with George and Nina..one that shows their love and also difficulties...don't have a particular tune in mind for this one but will ponder.

  • Comment number 67.

Speaking of videos Im off down south for a bit soon to visit my little cousin before he starts his new dance/drama school (if you havent read my previous posts going yay yay yay he got in well yeah he got in lol so proud - go dude :-D) anyway said I'd take my video camera with me and try and put something together for him a little video of him busting his moves :-P if I put it on my BH youtube channel as well as my others will you all watch it and comment on how brilliant he is lol itd absolutely make his day :-) of course im a little biased but we think hes awesome :-)

  • Comment number 68.

Haha glad he approves lol thing is though - women with wet t shirts is pervy - men with wet t shirts is just sexy lol im thinking colin firth and hugh grant in briget jones in the fountain...ahem...yeah...anyway yeah what was I saying?

Oh videos cool yeah I'll have a listen to that song not sure if I've heard it or not - I do really wanna do a george/nina one too I've got an idea for a song but you may have to bear with me not sure most people will have heard it

  • Comment number 69.

More fantastic Shakhira on BBc2...watch now if you can...

  • Comment number 70.

Well I guess the wet tee shirt thing depends on whether you're male/female/gay/straight/anything else...I think most straight men find women in wet tee shirts sexy not pervy..they don't do anything for me ( the women I mean). of course if there was a scene set up in BH2 with george and Mitchell frolocking in fountains etc I'm not going to say " oh no this is terrible"..but...I'd much rather they got their kits off rather then left them on..wet...and dripping....

    moving swiftly on...
what's your idea for Goerge/Nina song?

  • Comment number 71.

Was watching the inbetweeners...now im watching mika squeak down a microphone and "dance" although he looks slightly like hes having a fit...should I be worried? lol actually thats kinda how I dance :-P although I don't profess to be a dancer or go on TV doing it so think I can be exused lol

  • Comment number 72.

ok...that's me for the evening ...night all..talk tomorrow sometime..

  • Comment number 73.

Seen Russell Tovey's YouTube clips in "The History Boys" in Sydney? He's got a sexy "Little Russell" dance going on while on the boat. (Easy, now! He's got shorts on!) I didn't know he was in Sydney with the play; just knew about the NYC Broadway appearance. The things that you learn "Being Human" fan...

  • Comment number 74.

I saw the Des Rom sonets and interview a while back... so laughed at the interview... PAIN, lol...

I didn't really like Des Rom much.. not cos of A but didn't think much of the other actors, and just couldn't get into it.

BTW... everyone say "happy birthday Lyssa" I'm 27 today!!!

  • Comment number 75.

VF, brown, C, Eagle, etc (28) Still fancy the idea of the wet T-shirt thing on A and R or have we gone off that one?....Still up for a shot or two, frankly, but no more than that....as long as it's done in a warm room hehe....no socks, either.

The calendar idea was brilliant Eagle ....Unsure about the naked stuff, just....maybe a little teasing (don't know if you remember but a couple of years ago the England rugby team did a fab calendar...nothing too naughty, just enough to...remark upon...and it was absolutely beautifully photographed in black and white)...something like that would definitely work with these two.

Good job I was only joking about Aidan remaining around this side of the pond to work....it did sound a bit "special needs" or it would have done had it been a serious comment! He'll go where he needs to be, that's what we all do, I guess, I know I've moved around a lot.

Congrats to your little cousin, E....didn't we say it sounded as if he had "it"?? A YouTube vid would be great...

Brown, Eagle: Another vid idea sounds cool....can't wait to see what you guys come up with although a lot of Russell wouldn't go amiss plus A and the others... it's nice to see more of Russell though my loyalties still lie with the vampire...

Catch you all later, things to do.

SweetLyssa: Just caught that blog post before I went....MANY HAPPY RETURNS!! Have a great birthday...is the Bristol trip next weekend (or maybe it's not you, I can't remember)

Des Rom was great if you just took it in context....I know a bit about the artists, I went to art school for a while and got interested in the impressionists and later the romantics, and a lot of the history wasn't in Des Rom but then I listened to one of the vids (can't think who it was and don't have time to check, probably the screenwriter) and he explained that he purposely left out stuff, put other stuff in that wasn't originally there and so on....and explained that he had to condense 10-12 years of events into 6 episodes or however many there were. Quite tricky, so I'll forgive him, I just thought it was a jolly good romp with a bit of everything in it...have to say, I was initially expecting a bit more drama and art history but wasn't too horrified when I saw what I saw!

Have a great birthday and if it you coming to little old Bristol, enjoy!

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. I'm really busy at the moment so I probably won't be on much (other than dropping in occasionally to say hi) until December.

I hope you're all okay. *hugs everyone*

Eagle:: Hi there...you don't sound good, hun, you ill? Think Russell thoughts to make you feel a little better, otherwise take care of yourself and don't overdo it..

Errr...got modded and this time I think I know why, cos I didn't check it before I click on Post Comment and usually I do....ohohoh, dear, I think I know what I might have put....sorry Mods, I wasn't thinking straight, got a lot of mind at moment...am not a weirdo or stalker in case you were wondering..

C:: Hi babes...sorry you won't be with us much but you won't be forgotten...join us again when you can and take care of yourself in meantime...we'll see you when we see you!

Great stuff re your cousin...he must have that certain something for you to awwww over him at his age! Good for him....it's hard work but worth it in the end.

Fourteen-hr shift...hell, rather you than me but needs must, I guess.

  • Comment number 81.

Eagle:: sorry didn't finish off properly...last blog, last 2 paras meant for you....apologies my grammar is off scale today, mind is flying in all directions hence the mod earlier..(did I really write that? it seems I did....can't believe I did that).

In meantime, watch lots of feelgood stuff which is what I'm trying to do along with a lot of other things except in my case there's way too much to actually do which is why I'm going off at tangents lol

Now I'm babbling so I'm going to lie down for a while hehe

  • Comment number 82.

Yeah reallly yacky and jsut burnt my hand on kettle trying to make tea :-( when i get poorly it always goes straight to my head and i get dizzy so handlinght objects was never gonna go well lol had to call in work sick and the supervisor bloke bitmy head off and started having a go so i just hung up before i lost my rag - so no doubt ill be in trouble when i go back in :-(

how are you today anyway you at work?

and i know bless him think its cos hes like a mini john barrowman and you know what i fan i am of anything barrowman-esque :-P

  • Comment number 83.

that was meant to say "handling hot objects" lol damn keyboard

  • Comment number 84.

Eagle:: Back again babes...isn't it awful, I mean, here we are, two (sane?) women running around like headless chickens, loathing work, poor, and thinking of JB, AT and RT and other related stuff, not feeling great, and going about our business whilst writing stuff we shouldn't and burning our hands....blame those men, that's what I say lol

At work - no, off until Wednesday when I am dreading going back for various reasons....bit like your reasons, I'm thinking. When are you back do you think, or haven't you got to thinking that far yet?

I'm looking for the E1-E5 episodes of Des Rom so I can check out the sonnets and interview vids but can't find them anywhere reliable so I'll keep looking....am still glowing over having found, via Angifan, bless her, the sonnet The Kiss by yer actual DG Rossetti, as read by Mr Turner esquire....if you have it full screen, there's a bit where he looks up from his book directly into the camera, and leans back to finish off the sonnet....gawd, it's something else. Apparently, there were other sonnets AT read out and I really want to know where I can get them on a reliable website (there are some very bizarre ones out there as I discovered yesterday when looking at the pilot of BH - that was scary in a computer-type way) but I'll rely on my old pal Google....sure that'll see me through the issue!

  • Comment number 85.

Well I was meant to be in tomorrow but they probably wont let me - then not til thursday - Im only contracted part time and overtime shifts are pretty sparce because everyone is skint and everyone jumps on them as soon as theres one going and the fact ive fallen out with the manager (the one who told me i had "too much personality" lol and thats not even me paraphrasing unfortunately they were the exact words - shows tha kinda hellhole I work in...and in my defence I only have "too much" to fill the void left by everyone elses distinct lack of it lol) anyway yeah the barny with the manager reaaaaaally didnt help matters :-S

Well Ive got lots to look forward to in the next few months - that makes it much easier to "keep my head down" as does nice thoughts of John Aidan and Russell :-P (I know we're not really on first name terms but its just easier lol)

  • Comment number 86.

Eagle:: This manager sounds like he doesn't have a personality at all... what is the man made of? And how can you have "too much personality" especially if you're made that way? Sounds like you're working for a robot who expects you to be a robot. My situation is different but there are some vague similarities.. not being allowed to be yourself even though you work your socks off, that sort of thing...weird...kind of makes you wonder what it is they want that you're not giving them.

What were you going to do in your vid or can't you say on here? You can contact me on Youtube if you want, provided I can remember a) how to get on there and b) how to access my emails..

  • Comment number 87.

It's a she which is even worse I reckon lol blokes wanting bimbo's with no personality is...well not understandable but something I'm a little more used to lol everyone reckons shes just jealous because she walks around with a face like a smacked **** and seems to have forgotten how to laugh sometime in the late 80s lol but the other manager and I get on really really well and he's actually her superior (not quite sure how it works but hes big boss blokey anyway) and everyone else is very sort of "yes sir no sir" with him whereas I have a laugh and joke with him and take the mick a bit and he does it back - you know my kinda usual banter lol same as I am with everyone and thats more important really because hes actually a half decent human being AND mardy **** cant sack me without his consent - well she cant sack me anyway because ive never done anything wrong (well apart from being 5 or so minutes late if JB's on the telly lol) so my theory is she just doesnt like me so is trying to beat me down so much that I just quit and she can get rid of me that way - and as much as I hate to lose its kind of working :-( its so depressing being there.

    Phew moan over honest :-P

What was I gonna do on which vid? Not quite decided what im doing at all yet but I do wanna do a Russell one - but since its Russell i wanna do something a bit different but not sure what :-S ideas welcome...

  • Comment number 88.

Just finished ironing....better than work any day (yep, that desperate) lol

Eagle: Female boss-ette, eh....worked for a couple of those in dim and distant....one brilliant and great to work with, one brilliant at her job but very strange to work for..when she was good, she was fabulous but when she had one of her moods on....hide! Had some great male bosses and some absolute horrors.. the present one...well Ive no idea what is going on there I really dont but he def doesn't like me and I think would love it if I just left...believe me its a strong possibility but its finding another job that pays as well...its not going to happen yet although Im not going to stop trying.

New vid..well, what's already been covered..some werewolf transformations but not actually that many....might be something there....done the funny moments unless there are some we haven't found or noticed (this means going back through endless vids...not an unpleasant thought lol)...I'd love to hear him sing properly I think I said this in (24) and (26) for some reason....he has a good voice, let's hear it BH PROD Team!...in fact we need more vids of Russell in order that Eagle can create a special one for him so please, more of the werewolf doing whatever you have him doing....I'd love to see him do stage work because I think he's an all-round talent....can he dance too?

Sorry Eagle, off-topic slightly there but where's the surprise in that? lol I'll have to think about ideas for Russ-vid in more detail.

    Definitely a Russell black-and-white 2010 calendar though!

Evening all....busy day ( so what else is new) which involved cleaning the flat...we decided we couldn't go out to play unless we did this; Is there anyone out there who actually enjoys cleaning? Both of us love cookng so no probs there..but anything else..!
When I win the lottery I will employ a housekeeper.

But back in the real world...or this world...how are we all? Man cooking so all's well in my world...I've even got a glass of wine on the go.

Cieria...hope what ever's keeping you busy baby is productive..and successful...and helps you get to where you want to be.
I'm sending that sentiment to everyone actually...I get even more passionate ( if that's poss) and emotional when drinking...haven't decided yet whether or not that's a good thing ( the emotion I mean not the drinking..)

ok...what are we talking about? oh yeh...videos! Eagle: what thoughts on song for George/Nina vid?...have you listened to the Pink tune yet?

  • Comment number 90.

Lionesskeeper...just read your tweet..YES YES YES!

  • Comment number 91.

Brown:: Congrats on the vote? Just heard on the news, been out and about today on and off.

Cleaning....nooooo, hate it....when I had money I had a cleaner and it was wonderful...now, however...

How many glasses of vino exactly have you consumed here? Or is it by the bottle since you last posted?? More passionate? Tie her up someone... oops, wrong choice of words perhaps.

Will you have your dancing shoes on tonight or do you have a night in?

  • Comment number 92.

Just found all 6 of the sonnets of Rossetti and listened....and watched.. the favourite is Supreme Surrender...Mr Turner reading them...wow...no more to be said.

  • Comment number 93.

Yep Russell singing :-D please? pretty please Mr P?

Brown - pink song will listen when I can youtube possibly later if not then itll be monday :-) Im gonna hold off on the George/Nina vid though cos I remembered Lionesskeeper said she was working on one so ill leave that area to her :-)

Just watching strictly I tell you what our Tullys brother cant half dance lol (the judges know NOTHING!) and he looks good in a suit :-P I really wanna learn to dance - im in no doubt that id be completely rubbish but it looks so much fun lol although I cant even walk in heels let alone dance - no exageration there I literally cant walk in heels since I had an op on my foot a couple of years ago - got out the habit of wearing em (i didnt much anyway) wore flats for about a year and just forgot how to walk in heels lol and I dont think a tango or whatever looks quite so sexy with converse :-P

Ok what vote? what news? and what tweet lol the one about the convention? brown does that mean you're going too? ooh if theres a few people going

  • Comment number 94.

Eagle:: Hi there....YouTube down for maintenance at moment so I'm twiddling thumbs a bit.

    Is there a convention?

  • Comment number 95.

Anglo::Hiall, Just got back from a visit to my son in Sheffield, so glad you enjoyed the sonnets. Jenny Jaques had to wear a red wig for Des Rom and what she called a merkin to cover her lady bits she is naturally dark haired.

    Convention where? when?

Eagle:: Read somewhere AT did a lot of dancing in his teens (will try and remember where) fancy tripping the light fantastic with him?

  • Comment number 96.

yeah i just went to listen to nab wifi and youtubes down lol

awwww did you just see the kiddies on strictly? bless!

yeah convention in bedford in feb i think russells gonna be there :-) and sinead annabel dylan jason paul kasey and think thats it so far cant remember :-S

  • Comment number 97.

angifan - yeah he was a pro - represented ireland apparently :-) he does latin i think...and erm yes please :-P but i think vampfan would fight be to the death for the oppurtunity lol

  • Comment number 98.

Angifan:: Glad to had a good trip....god some of the stuff in those vids is funny....I loved Fred's one where he spoke about what the director had him doing in one particular scene....I can't say more than that because when I did something similar earlier about the Aidan Turner vid where he talked about his injuries *ahem*, I was modded. But you'll know which one it was anyway....I loved all the interviews and all the sonnets. The one from Episode 2 was brilliant....Aidan did his Mitchell expression, quite severe and tough, straight into camera....made me go all peculiar....I may have mentioned this before but....why aren't I 26, a size 10, incredibly fit through years of sport, with nearly black hair and no shadows under blue-green eyes, again?

And now I know what a merkin is! lol Bless em...the things they had to do....I don't think I was quite that broad-minded at their age but they are actors so maybe they have to be...I on the other hand was quite green and naive. Luckily this did not last.

Eagle and Angifan:: AT did indeed do Latin American dancing and did represent Ireland....now I'm sure brown will have a lot to say about this because she is the dancing queen of salsa...VF is also fairly keen on the subject of getting into a tango with the vampire....frankly I would get into anything with him...as long as the words chair, shackles and sonnets were involved hehe

This convention sounds good...do we have any further info on this or shall we delve into Google again?

  • Comment number 99.

if you google housebroken being human convention - its like the second link down i think its the massive events website - tickets are like 80 quid though :-S

  • Comment number 100.

Hi Eagle:: Thanks hun...just Googled it....see what you mean....and its limitd to 300 guests...Now of course, if it was a private audience with me and the vampire or Russell too come to that...
