New to BH? Watch out, this post contains spoilers from series one...

He was the awkward hospital porter with a twinkle in his eye and a deep, dark secret.  She was the acting ward sister that you wouldn't want to mess with.  So how did these two opposites end up attracting?  Featuring never-before-seen interview footage, we chart the history of George and Nina's whirlwind romance...

Ooooh, thank you BH Blog team :D (although also slightly rats because I was thinking of doing a Nina/Geaoge fanvid at some point)

I LOVE Nina. I think the way the part is written is brilliant (must admit I never saw her as a battleaxe because I've worked in nursing and I totally saw where she was coming from!) and Sinead's performance is also brilliant. They make such a sweet couple and are both capable of such compassion and understanding. Oh I love them. ALMOST as much as Gilbert.

I am very curious about what will happen to them in the next series.

Bless Sinead '..not that there's anything wrong with being a porter...' awww, she seems nice, and fun too. They all seem like that really. What a good bunch of people you seem to be at BH :)

    Thank you again :)

*George ... not sure who Geaoge is :S

  • Comment number 3.

Was a welcome revision break - got an exam tomorrow :(

  • Comment number 4.

Bless em. Nina is sweet. They are a great match in tv land.

  • Comment number 5.

Oh my internet wont let me watch it :-( well at least its nice to have new post - might have to go to mums house tomorrow lol get it watched :-)

Thanks guys and liking the sound of new interview footage :-D

Sperkii im with you though I was planning on doing a george/nina one next bt never mind lol you can never have too much of the tovey :-D

Oh and on a side note - happy happy happy! last proper college day today, got new blur cd and series 3 of gavin and stacey started filming today! Woo!

  • Comment number 6.

yay russell will be in series 3 of gavin and stacey :-D :-D :-D even mre happy now lol this week looks set to be much better than the last!

  • Comment number 7.

Awww I love George/ Nina as a couple. I can't believe Toby was going to kill her off!! I'm so glad that he didn't in the end.

  • Comment number 8.

*tiptoe-ing quietly back onto the blog in the hope that no-one notices she's been skiving off for ages*

  • Comment number 9.

    she's a feisty little one, isn't she? a bit like R2-D2!

  • Comment number 10.

you've all forgotten me haven't you? or are you all watching the thunderstorms at the moment? we've got a corker going on in SE London at the moment.

  • Comment number 11.

    hey brookesie

I feel a bit of a sranger here. Real life outside being human's just been a bit more mental than usual.

I was so pleased to see that from Nina thanks Barry. I think I was quick to dismiss her character initially but I really love her now. I think it was episode 4 where I warmed to her. It was when she came to the house and said "I would have listened" ; it was very powerful and enough for George to seek her out later on after the accident with Bernie.

In many ways I hope Nina's scratches aren't going to make her a werewolf; as George wasn't fully transformed at the time. Also I don't think George could handle the guilt that would come from all this.

I seem to be struggling a bit tonight with expressing my thoughts on this (I don't know why) but I loved Nina in Ep 4 and her compassion with George and for George but I can't imagine a way forward but hey isn't that where Toby comes in? I sort of hope so.

Sorry guys I think I found that film quite emotional. We're a few months on fron series 1 but there always seems to be more material that needs to be discussed. I guess that what sets it apart from anything else that's been on TV for a while.

  • Comment number 12.

yay it worked :-) brilliant video thank you everyone at bh towers :-) i really just cant get enough of russell at the minute going to mums house tomorrow so i can listen to newfangle :-D and mat says hes gonna be in series 3 of gavin and stacey so yay...wait did i already say that? it was just so exciting lol

great video though cant wait for the next series :-) its really odd though hearing sinead talking with her accent and then as nina :-S

  • Comment number 13.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks team....another good one. Please ask Toby to make sure that George and Nina stay together.....no matter what, they go really well and I don't think poor George would cope without Nina now.......Still love the 'peedo-ing' line.

  • Comment number 14.

Woo listening to new episode of newfangle :-) has everyone heard it? russells radio sitcom? Its really really odd - kinda forget everything you know about sitcom then give it a listen - its brilliant :-) lol mud turtle...no harm done is there? well not unless you count the harm done to my will to live!

Lol it is cracking me up russell's hilarious in it he really is.

  • Comment number 15.

yaay new vid, i like nina and can't wait to see what happens in series 2, i hope she doesn't try to keep the werewolf secret from george coz i'm sure she won't be able to for long.

  • Comment number 16.

I do think itll be really interesting if she keeps it from him and mitchell will know but George wont - well I dont think he will - hes kinda got the wolf smell up his nose most of the time anyway lol and Mitchells had a lot longer to learn how to use his senses if that makes sense

Hmm just hope it doesnt go the way it did in my fic because I kinda want them to be happy...actually...nah thatd be boring - put them through hell for a bit lol

  • Comment number 17.

woah annabel with a scouse accent is confusing my lil brain lol seems pretty good though so far and she does the accent well even if it does confuse me :-P

  • Comment number 18.

Damn, now I'm addicted to True Blood in the absence of BH. It's like bad-arse Twilight, only the girl's telepathic. Awful, awful accents though. Yuck.

  • Comment number 19.

btw eagle, are you getting confused about which is BH and which is fanfic now? heehee

  • Comment number 20.

Lol yeah a little bit :-S I put so much thought into mine and how I think it will play out that if its not exactly the same I'll be a little confused - you know it doesnt take much lol

I really want to watch true blood :-( is it just yanky accents? I dont mind american accents for the most part...although texas accents grate on me after a while.

  • Comment number 21.

It's a kind of southern accent - the kind where they add non-existent syllables to words(!) - It's ok once you get used to it though.

The credits are awful as well though. Terrible style and music choice.

Am addicted to the programme now though

  • Comment number 22.

In True Blood, vamp blood is sold to humans as a drug on the black market and vampires can buy synthetic blood at bars

  • Comment number 23.

Still love you BH (of course) but True Blood is also totally awesome

  • Comment number 24.

So are they sort of out in true blood then? Everyone knows about them kinda thing?

I really do want to see this :-(

  • Comment number 25.

Ok apparently they are - this isn't fair though Americans are so selfish with their telly lol we're giving them BH in July and we havent even got our second series yet - true bloods in its second series (i think?) and we havent had it over here :-(

Next time im at my mums or somewhere else with proper internet ill have to watch - are you just watching them on youtube sperk?

  • Comment number 26.

hmm just had a look at a few pictures - it all looks very toothy lol not necessairily bad i guess just different. apparently the books are good though - might give them a go first.

  • Comment number 27.

Hmm Mitchell's 118 Edward in Twilight is 108? (ish I think correct me if im wrong) and the main guy in this true blood is 173...Can't think of a reason why they're all kinda the same age? they're all a hundred and something - surely with vampires theres the scope to have them any age? I did think aybe having them too old might make them stand out from humans too much but then Herrick was older (well we all seemed to assume he was what with him being the big boss man :-)) yet all the main characters seem to be similar age - or is it just coincidence?

  • Comment number 28.

I sooo won't be able to watch Twilight now. It was wet before but after True Blood, I'd seriously wanna throw my tv/laptop out the window if I put Twi on again. True Blood is awesome. eagle, yes they are 'out' and it has more adult content in. Love the fact that the humans get addicto vamp blood too.

There's a lot of explanation in it, e.g. Bill tells Sookie that vamps spread myths about themselves so that they could deny they were vampires more easily (like having no reflection...they could 'prove' they weren't vampires by showing their reflection). And it explained about the blood inside vamps being life itself. And it is fairly 'toothy', eagle, yes (you really are a strange one, aren't you?!)

  • Comment number 29.

*addicto...what, sperks?!! ...think I was subconsciously trying to save time...I meant 'addicted to' of course.

  • Comment number 30.

lol that was one of the things i liked about BH vampires - the whole fangs coming down thing - think it worked really well - just meant the pics of true blood i saw all looked very...toothy lol the fangs look really over the top. but yeah the myths thing - very good i like that.

  • Comment number 31.

Right, back to BH...just watched a Lauren fanvid. Feeling BH love all over again. After my initial Lauren hate right at the beginning, I cam to love her. I think it really helped hearing Annabel talking about her in the interviews. I just ache when I think about Lauren now and want to go back and rescue her lol.

  • Comment number 32.

We've been wondering this sperk - which fanvid?! the only one i can find is the harder to breathe one and youve always dissagreed with me about that song

  • Comment number 33.

Ooh True Blood. Yeah I have to watch that because it looks awesome.

Though that's after I've finished watching Moonlight which is also awesome! I would recommend it. Though it was cancelled after the first series. :(

  • Comment number 34.

eagle, ot's the 'Numb' one...it's not on her YouTube channel but she provides a link in the description

  • Comment number 35.

oh ok then will check it out at some point

  • Comment number 36.

ok off to pub to nab the wi fi s i can watch it in a min when laptops charged up a bit but on similar subject anyone got any ideas for more fanvids? im in the mood but have pretty much exhausted my own ideas :-(

  • Comment number 37.

yup yup good videos - now extremely jealous and want my new program even more :-( hmm lots of extra shifts coming up me thinks - ban myself from internet and telly and work double shifts back to back for about 20 years and i might just afford it :-P hmm or go and buy a lottery ticket...think ill just try that once first if not back to plan A.

But yeah thanks for the heads up sperk :-)

  • Comment number 38.

c, I watched the first ep of Moonlight but found it too similar to The New Adventures of Superman. The main woman in it was too much like Lois Lane and he was the one 'from another world' rescuing her while she puts her self in danger pursuing the story. Thought the vamp stuff was bit too soft and cliche as well. I found it kind of mild, inoffensive entertainment but wouldn't get hooked on it at all. I have come to the end of watching Season 1 of True Blood *sniff* and I'm suffering withdrawal...

  • Comment number 39.

Well I quite like it anyway. :/

  • Comment number 40.

I know, c, bless ya. I wasn't saying you were wrong
