  • Comment number 3.

Ok it was working fine to start with and as more people started watching it got slower and slower lol but got there in the end :-)

Mr.Tovey you are a legend :-) really liked that video and its always nice to know the cast and crew get on so well behind the scenes. Really hope this isnt the last video until next series maybe a quick couple of the filming...without giving anything away obviously?

  • Comment number 4.

ARRRRR every one on this show its so nice. Ive been waiting for this to.

I cant believe this going to be the last video for a while i already miss it so much.

I love that he desided to do the squeeking thing himself its one of the reasons that we all ove george so much. it just makes the show that much more likeable.
i hope they did ha ve a great time filming but still didnt say when they would start filming again though i hope its not to long i need to find out if there all going to be ok

  • Comment number 5.

    awww, he's just sooooo cute!!

can't wait for next series now!!!

  • Comment number 6.

    Awww bless him.
    I agree,, the squeaking = George ;)
And someone said they heard that he filming begins in August? But i don't know where from.
    Hopefully thats true :)

  • Comment number 7.

Apparently they start filming in August but shh not sure we're meant to know or not lol.

"Tovey is widely regarded as one of British acting’s hottest young talents,".....He is indeed - hes going to be Englands next big thing id put money on it - and not just because im a fan - from a purely professioal point of view he really is a brilliant young actor and seems to be a genuinely nice bloke as well so i really hope he does well and he certainly deserves to.
We're all behind you Tovey :-D

  • Comment number 8.

    Thanks for the shhh! info.
but what are we surpost to do till then.

are we starting something new now surport RUSSALL TOVEY best english actor in all public votes now!!!!
( thts in award show and such )

  • Comment number 9.

Awww, shucks. Thanks Being Human Production for throwing that in for us.

It's so nice to, again, get confirmation that they all get on well and seem to be nice people.

  • Comment number 10.

Lol i'll vote for him :)
That little message for us fans was really sweet. Its really nice that we get a mention :D
Cannot wait till the second series.
How long does it take to film and edit a programme?

  • Comment number 11.

Lol yeah if russell doesnt get any nominations it'll be a crime against British television - he has to.

  • Comment number 12.

Well last time they were filming in december and we didnt get it until following jan but im not sure they were working on it all that time they probably had it waiting ready to go for when the bbc wanted to show it so iguess we might have it the same time next year...hopefully

  • Comment number 13.

What a sweetheart!! What more can you say...

  • Comment number 14.

It's nice that they got on so well/had such a good time making it. I think that really came across in the video diaries and in the chemistry between them all. And I thought it was a nice touch to thank the fans.
I think the new series probably won't be out till early 09 but I reckon the BBC will repeat it again. Plus hopefully we will see the cast in other stuff.
Am I the only person who thinks Aidan would make a really good Dr. Who?!

  • Comment number 15.

awww bless him! the cast are so lovely x

  • Comment number 16.

Jeez,m I would love to see this, but I can't. Could you PLEASE put this(and the other video diary and that last vid) up on Youtube(I'm getting annoyed now)

    To jaynedoll
No, I think he would be good too for Doctor Who
    Ok, the campaign starts here
    Aiden Turner for 12

  • Comment number 17.

I think ANYONE would have made a better Dr Who than that 26yr old they have picked to take over from the legendary David Tennant. I hope he will prove me wrong but I doubt it very much

  • Comment number 18.

Just looking though my TV guide and the BBC have no excuse now; they are showing Undercover Princes on BBC1, which first ran (about a million times) on BBC3. If they can do it with that they HAVE to do it with Being Human!

  • Comment number 19.

Ok, update georgethewolf now where's the Youtube links for those of us who can't use iPlayer

  • Comment number 20.

sorry for this folks but SQUEEE! One of my questions was answered! ^^ *bounces excitedly on the spot*

Aww, Russell is such a lovely guy - bless his heart. He's genuinely grateful, honest and so enthusiastic.

And thankyou so much to the fantastic maintainers of the site for letting us into the world of Being Human. *grinz* I can't wait for us to do this all over again next year!!

    KC

  • Comment number 21.

I guess dr who and mitchell are kind of similar roles in that they both have to play older and wiser than they look lol i think david tennants been the best doctor so far :-( he shoulda stayed so i dont think id be happy with the new bloke who ever he was lol....maybe even aidan :-(

  • Comment number 22.

kinkyclawz, you're lucky you can see it*cries*

  • Comment number 23.

I wish I could see this. Can they do an American friendly version of these when it comes to BBC America? I just wish I didn't have to wait that long. As always, here's the obligatory request for transcripts of the Cast Answers Your Questions sessions, please.

Nice to know from the comments that everyone gets along and that Russell gave a nod to the fans :)

  • Comment number 24.

    sperkii,
The guy has no eyebrows.......NO EYEBROWS!!!!
    0_0

  • Comment number 25.

Er...obviously am not talking about Russell there, heh^_^

  • Comment number 26.

Yay he answered my question, albeit under someone else's name but hey, I loved the message to the fans.

On a side note I'd like to make a public apology to Sperkii and Eagleeyes for my responses here and on FB, I'm very sorry and feel terrible *niggling feeling in my tummy*. An upsetting day is no excuse for unsettling others.

It's too long till the DVD release!

  • Comment number 27.

apologies superOchre! That's our mistake there, it was indeed your question. We're doing a quick re-edit now, so expect a new version with your credit very soon...!

  • Comment number 28.

    Lionesskeeper hahahahaha

superOchre thank you. I did wonder what on earth brought it on. Hope whatever it was is sorted now and you have a better day today.

Being Human Production, you're so ace aren't you? :-)

  • Comment number 29.

it's ok! you don't have to edit it. it makes no odds to me.

Yeah.. sorry sperkii, totally uncalled for, that's not me, just one of those horrible, stupid days. I sincerely, truly apologise.

  • Comment number 30.

Would anyone be kind enough to write out (not word by word) but the jist of what the messege was from Russell to us fans? As I mentioned on another post, my speakers on my laptop don't work for some reason so I don't know what he said (I should learn to lip read.. Lol)
Much appreciated if someone did (:

  • Comment number 31.

Going (very quickly, I promise, sorry BH) back to Dr Who..in my opinion Dr Who shouldn't be younger than 30, so even Aidan (bless him) would a be a little too young, although I'm still sure he'd do a better job than the new guy (can't even remember his name)

  • Comment number 32.

Yeah, but sperkii, by the timeMatt Smith would bow out, he'll be just the right age:)

  • Comment number 33.

I think someone should give him miricle gro, for those eyebrows

  • Comment number 34.

    hahahahahaha :-)

  • Comment number 35.

Lionesskeeper, I'm still chuckling about comment 24

  • Comment number 36.

Thanks Russell for that lovely message to the fans but i think it should be us thanking you because if it wasn't for you Aidan and Lenora we wouldn't have anything decent to watch!!

    MSG TO AIDAN TURNER STALKER

The msg was basically he's very thankful to us all for being behind them and making the show happen and for being given the opportunity for this series and the big response for the 2nd, for us caring about it as much as he does, we're very important and a massive thanks!

A massive thanks to the BH production team for their fantastic efforts i'm cold turkey until the next series xx

  • Comment number 37.

Getting back to the actual video, you can see why the rest of the cast like spending timw ith Russell so much; he seems like a very hard-working yet fun person to be around. I love the fact that it is him who put in all of George's squeeks and noises and mannerisms :-)

  • Comment number 38.

*time with even, God my typing is atrocious

  • Comment number 39.

I hope all the different areas of the crew get award recognition. I think, for starters, the website team should get something for this website. I have never ever contributed more than once to a discussion board on a programme website before but this website has been interesting and brilliant.

  • Comment number 40.

LycanLind, aw thank you very very much xD Russell's such a lovely lad, only a true gem would do a special little messege like that.

And might I say, I haven't thought about it before now, but yeah, Aidan would make a really good Doctor Who. Although I don't think he'd be favourite because of his accent (I'm not against it, I seriously love it!), but the producers and writers and etc. always choose someone who can do an English accent.
Hmm.. or maybe you should ignore that 'cos I know a lot of you will probably think "How dare you!", Lol.

  • Comment number 41.

Yeah i agree - go Barry :-) if that is indeed your real name :-) this is the only website i have ever become a member of and only program i have ever felt the need to comment on and i know im not the only one so if there is such an award then well be voting for you and if not i hope that knowing how much we appreciate all your hard work will make you slightly happy at least :-)

And yes russell seems lovely - someone id love to meet down the pub and maken frieds with whether or not he was a famous actor!

Oh superochre thanks for the apology consder it accepted i have to admit i have to admit i have no idea what you said that should have upset me? :-S or if i did iv already forgotten lol trust me if you worked with the blanking blanks (for the benefit of the mods!) that i have for so long you become resistant to mardy people :-D but i hope you're feeling all better now? keep smiling :-D

  • Comment number 42.

Aww thanks eagle, I'm feeling loads better.

I just showed my sons the Tovey interview saying 'that's my question! look, he's answering it,' and my oldest who has Aspergers said 'well, yeah that's great mum well it would have been great if he had phoned you and answered your question in person I guess.. can I have an ice-lolly?'

  • Comment number 43.

Glad to hear things are better today

  • Comment number 44.

    @ sperkii

dontcha think it's kind of ironic you questioning an apparently inexperienced 26 yr old actor's ability to play a charismatic super-human (or non-human) with a dark and centuries-long history?

worked out ok for being human..

  • Comment number 45.

russell is one talented actor! didn't realise just how great he was until george came along...

hope he gets plenty more comedy squeaky moments in the next series :)

  • Comment number 46.

bexter2001 Matt Smith just doesn't seem like front-man material to me, more a bit-part or extra type, and certainly doesn't seem right for such an institution of a title role. I just don't think he's the right choice. Not saying he won't prove me wrong. The BH twenty-somethings were supposed to be twenty-somethings and didn't have a long history to live up to (just the pilot). Plus Russell especially is just a phenomenal actor. He could have done The Dr.

  • Comment number 47.

As in starred as him, ahem

  • Comment number 48.

Saw about 5 minutes of a new dr who tonight with the new guy and i have to say he is a good actor but not a doctor - sorry he just doesnt seem right to me - for me the doctor will always be david tennant now hes been the best so far in my opinion. that new guy isnt bad though hes a good actor just maybe in a differnet role :-S nothing hes done wrong he just doesnt fit

  • Comment number 49.

I didn't realise they'd started showing them already?! That totally passed me by. When was it on? David Tennant was always gonna be a very hard act to follow but with all the great options they had open to them it still baffles me why they chose Matt Smith to do it.

  • Comment number 50.

Aww that was really nice of the Production Team to throw in that question at the end and also very sweet was Russell’s response!! x3~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    That deserves a BIG smile:

  • Comment number 52.

Athough i thought itd be a big saturday night bbc 1 thing? so maybe it wasnt him :-S

  • Comment number 53.

Yeah ok dont think it was like i said i only watched a couple of minutes maybe it wasnt the doctor at all lol god knows i watched it religiously for a few weeks and havent really seen it since...

  • Comment number 54.

lol, I think they are re-running all the David Tennant ones on BBC3 at the mo. I didn't recognise those ones either though. I stopped watching when they brought in Martha coz I didn't take to her at all. Only started watching again when they brought in Katherine Tate. Was gutted when they wrote her out coz I thought she and David were fab together. Anyway eagle_eyes4 we are hijacking the forum again! We really should FB nstead. On that note, there are the Toby, Jason and Gilbert Fun groups now

  • Comment number 55.

Am I totally imagining it or did I just see Guy Flanagan on the new Lynx advert?

    God, sorry, that's off-topic too

  • Comment number 56.

I very, very possibly imagned it. It's late and I'm essay writing so my brain is mush and my eyes are tired

  • Comment number 57.

Oh i hope it was him i havent seen the new lynx advert though i really like him i hope we see some more of him :-(

  • Comment number 58.

    @sperkii

isn't the new lynx ad animated? lol.

  • Comment number 59.

I think there are a few Lynx things out at the mo. I mean the Lynx Bullet one. But I really may have been hallucinating. I have been essay writing every night for what seems like forever

  • Comment number 60.

I think I was just imagining it. Probably just part of the Being Human cold turkey effect

  • Comment number 61.

Hey, was wondering if someone could upload this and the previous vlog up on Youtube for me, I wouold be waiting forever for the official site to do this and I really want to see them, so if any fan wouldn't mind, that would be great

  • Comment number 62.

    Awwww thats very sweet

i would of said sumthing earlyer but iv been away.:(

my sister said to me the me served Aidan Turner in her pub and he goes in there very Sunday night
    XD

can't wait for it all boo whooo!!! but im glad that it'll be on again.

  • Comment number 63.

Same, i think i'm slightly obsessed with this programme now. :/
And at the DW episode it was a David Tennant one, he just appears in it like twice lol
    Anyway...
    ;)

  • Comment number 64.

Just seen the lynx bullet add and its not guy :-( looks a bit like him though but not - shame i was looking forward to seeing him lol

  • Comment number 65.

midnightsparklegirl for gods sake dont say which pub or the poor guy will be mobbed this weekend :-)

  • Comment number 66.

Has something come up with the upload to YouTube? Starting to worry a wee bit.

  • Comment number 67.

...and thank you Russell for making one of the best most lovebale characters in television! Keep up the adlibbing throughout series 2! And i can't wait to be glued to my screen again this time next year!

  • Comment number 68.

    stingeroo
I don't know what's wrong, I'm asking for ages for the vids to be posted up, they must be busy with the red nose stuff, or something
    I'm starting to worry too:(

  • Comment number 69.

Sorry eagle, I told you I was going mad! Stupid essays

  • Comment number 70.

    At last!

After "sparrowhawk," he makes almost the same facial gesture as in episode two. I figured it was not exclusive to George.

  • Comment number 71.

Morning Bloggers! went to see "a Miracle" at Royal Court theatre and twas fab! all the (4) cast were excellent and with it being such an intimate venue, we got totally into it! As one of millions - I can't wait for series two of "Being Human". RT - great guy, fantastic actor and look forward to bumping into him when out and about, we always have a giggle and get a chance to update my photo collection!

  • Comment number 72.

Hi, just to let you know, all the video diaries, interviews and the Journey's End video are now on the BBC YouTube channel. Enjoy!

  • Comment number 73.

The bit at the end about the fans was so sweet. He seems like such a great guy.

  • Comment number 74.

awwwwww russell made me want to cry at how much he needs us all (liked the blowing a kiss added a lil personal touch) awwwwwwwwww xXXX
