Last night the annual British Academy Film and Television Awards were held at a ceremony in London. BBC FilmsPhilomena, directed by Stephen Frears and starring Dame Judi Dench and Steve Coogan, was awarded the gong for Best Adapted Screen play for writers Jeff Pope and Steve Coogan.
