Scott says: "It's like they picked random words out of a raffle"

“It’s like they picked random words out of a raffle and then went 'Rob Lowe, cabbage patch, Boston police cop, ITV, six episodes, thank you very much'.

“This whole thing is so loopy. It kind of reminds me of when they got Kim Cattrall into a really serious Swedish/Danish drama.”

“Casting wise, this is the weirdest cast I’ve ever seen.”

Hayley says: "It’s constantly like, 'why is Rob Lowe in a Volvo?'"

“It feels like it's two shows stitched together.

"For me it feels like a totally OK, but weirder than usual, ITV drama that is elevated by a respectable cast.

“It’s constantly like, 'why is Rob Lowe in a Volvo?'

“Our first question to Rob Lowe – how did this happen?

“How long did he have to be in northern England and how did he feel about it?"

Wild Bill starts on ITV on Wednesday 12 June at 21:00.
