Useful expressions using the pronoun ‘en’

The following set expressions using the pronoun en are useful when speaking or writing:

  • j’en ai assez - I’ve had enough (of it)
  • j’en ai marre - I’m fed up (with it)
  • il y en a douze - there are twelve (of them)
  • il n’y en a pas - there aren’t any (of them) left
  • je n’en sais rien - I know nothing (about it)
