Daily lessons coming soon
Beginning Monday 20 April, BBC Bitesize will publish daily online lessons for all ages. We'll also have a new dedicated TV channel full of learning content, podcasts on BBC Sounds and loads of educational video on iPlayer.
Shapes can be transformed in ways such as translation, rotation, reflection and enlargement. Enlargement is described by its scale factor and the position is described by the centre of enlargement.
Congruent means identical in shape and size.
Shapes can be congruent even if they have been rotated or reflected.
