Le nouvel an est vraiment important en Ecosse. La fête s’appelle ‘Hogmanay’. Il y a souvent des feux d’artifice et un ‘ceilidh’ où les gens dansent des danses traditionelles et jouent la musique folklorique.
En France, on fête Noël le vingt-quatre décembre. Les gens mangent un grand repas et ouvre les cadeaux.
The New Year is really important in Scotland. The celebration is called Hogmanay. There are often fireworks and a 'ceilidh' where people dance traditional dances and play folk music.
In France Christmas is celebrated on the 24th of December. People eat a big meal and open presents.
