## Area of a trapezium

$Area\,of\,triangle\,1 = \frac{1}{2}bh$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times 7$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 14$

$= 7c{m^2}$

Area of rectangle 2 $$= l \times b$$

$= 5 \times 7$

$= 35{cm^2}$

$Area\,of\,triangle\,3 = \frac{1}{2}bh$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 9 \times 7$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 63$

$= 31.5c{m^2}$

$Total\,area = 7 + 35 + 31.5 = 73.5c{m^2}$
