Two mice are in the attic and find an old toaster. They plug it in and one mouse is about to poke a knife into the toaster when Electro Mouse comes to the rescue. He also notices the frayed and bare wires. Electro Mouse shows the mice a new toaster and explains that electricity can be safe when it is used correctly.
Could be used as part of the children's work in Science and Literacy, where the teacher could ask the children to write the next part to the story as a comic book, choosing one area about the dangers of electricity. The children could also be asked to write a leaflet for a younger audience about the dangers of electricity in and around their home and in the wider environment.
