Before watching the clip, students could be asked to discuss any traditional local festivals they may have been to. After watching the clip, students could go over the description of traditional costume and work in groups to draw round a classmate on a large piece of paper, designing a traditional outfit. Students could label it in French for display. Students could also match pictures of the floats with their French theme title and English translation. Given a French theme students could design their own float for the parade.
