Householders are being subsidised to install free solar roof panels. Fuel companies are paying for installations of as much as £20,000 per house and paying for it by taxing non-solar panel users. The result is a rise in net solar power usage, at no cost to the government. The individual householder gets electricity savings of up to 50 percent at no personal cost.
