Students could discuss why they think the British population received gas masks at the beginning of World War Two. In groups pupils could prepare a debate either in favour or against Britain developing mustard gas bombs during the war. Students could question what Wales' role was in the developement of the Atomic bomb. A discussion could then take place around whether the world's leading nations that produce weapons of mass destruction should condemn less powerful nations for attempting to develop their own nuclear capabilities.
