The presenter is listening to the Shahadah and he explains the meaning of the words and how it is used in prayer. He goes on to explain how, during the month of Ramadan, Muslims remember the gift of the Koran to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the message God gave to him.

Give out handouts with a couple of short passages from the Shahada and ask if there is anybody in the class who could read them. If possible, bring in a copy of the Koran and allow children to explore it in detail (the size, the material, the language, the colour). This might encourage some children to learn a few words in Arabic and maybe even learn a few short phrases. Pupils could then write in a short paragraph what they have learnt from the clip and, possibly, from fellow classmates.
