A group of Spanish school children sing a version of 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm' in Spanish. Using animal images to illustrate, they teach the Spanish for a dog, a horse, a hen and a lamb, as well as the noises the animals make in Spanish.
After watching the song a couple of times, students could be given flashcards with the animals and the sounds they make and match them in pairs. Students could also be encouraged to write out the song and illustrate it. Students could use the clip to introduce animal words, to compare songs in different languages and also as the starting point for simple storytelling.
