A room with plain white walls is transformed by throwing brightly coloured paint at them. As balloons filled with different coloured paints are thrown at the walls, the paint explodes in star-bursts which spread across the walls. Multiple throws create a unique and random design which transforms the space into a colourful and striking interior. The overall effect is a bright and colourfully decorated room created in a novel and unusual way. Contains behaviour that could be imitated. Teacher review is recommended prior to use in class.

Children could experiment with dropping paints or inks onto paper. They could drop powder paints onto wetted paper to create a star-burst effect. Mix liquid colours by dropping them together from different heights.
