The class could discuss peer pressure linked to healthy choices. Why did his mum ask him to buy fruit? When the clip talks about the side effects of unhealthy choices, question the children on whether or not they think it is OK to have smelly breath or even bad teeth. Talk about how sometimes the bad things in food can’t be seen like sugars, salts and fats. However, the impact on your body can be felt or seen. When the little boy was asked just to eat the fats without it being inside foods why did he say no? The class could write or draw a list of foods that are healthy and unhealthy.
