First broadcast:

This clip can be used as a spark for identifying the tools and methods used by the Tudors, in particular in the kitchen. The clip could be played once through and then played again and paused at various times. At these points, pupils could be asked to guess what is being done and what a particular piece of equipment might be used for. This can subsequently lead to an exploration of why and how Tudor life was so different to life today.
