A rat named Jacques lives in the city and is missing the love of his life, Lucille, who lives in the countryside. Jacques decides to visit her, but when he gets there the countryside isn't what he expected, so they both go back to the city. However, things don't run as smoothly as expected for them and Lucille ends up being caught by a cat. They then decide to compromise and move.

Write down words from the clip on the IWB and ask the children to link them to either to the Town Rat or to the Country Rat, eg. Kuh - Landratte, laut - Stadtratte, etc.
Ask the children to choose one of the characters and give a short presentation about themselves - who they are and where they live.
Could be used to spark of a discussion about where the children would rather live, in the town or in the countryside using the phrase 'ich wohne lieber'. Encourage the children to try to give reasons using the words from the clip, eg. 'es ist laut' or 'es ist ruhig'.
