This clip could be used to illustrate immigration issues in the USA. Following this clip, students could be asked to consider the 'push' and 'pull' factors which contribute to immigration, particularly illegal immigration. Students may wish to undertake further research into government responses to illegal immigration. This could lead to a wider class debate on immigration in the USA. Students may want to look in more detail at how much immigration is having an impact on political representation in the USA.
