Ask the children to pick an animal from the clip and describe its entire life cycle in a diary. Write the names of animals or plants in their early life stage on the board. For example, pupa, tadpole, seedling, and ask the pupils to link them to images from the clip. The class could have a look at the human life cycle. Write down the terms for each stage in the life cycle, such as embryo, foetus, neonate, toddler, adolescent, infant. Then ask the children to put them into the correct sequence. Show images of people in each stage and invite the children to link them to the terms.
