A group of Spanish school children sing a version of 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm' in Spanish. Using animal images to illustrate, they teach the Spanish for a dog, a horse, a hen and a lamb, as well as the noises the animals make in Spanish.
After watching the song a couple of times, pupils could be encouraged to sing along. To start with, they could just be encouraged to do the animal noises and then progress to the animals if they are able to. Pupils can use the clip to introduce animal words, to compare songs in different languages and as the starting point for some simple storytelling.
