Use the clip to inform students’ research into diet and its relationship with growth and development. Students could consider energy requirements, and the specific roles of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
Divide the class into different groups, each of which could consider a different vitamin or mineral, how it contributes to health and where our bodies get it from. In some cases this will not be through food. The groups could create a presentation about their vitamin or mineral for the rest of the class to make notes from.
