This clip is useful as an example of a Muslim prayer and to explain how during Ramadan, Muslims remember the gift of the Koran to Muhammad (pbuh). Ask the class if they have ever seen or read the words of the Koran. Encourage children to share their experience and to discuss Muhammad's importance in Islam and the meaning of Shahadah. To Muslims, Ramadan is a time for what? Why is this important? They could then think of a gift they would like to have and how they would use it in actions of good will.
