Lee Cornes narrates a story about a messy man called Bob. Bob wakes up and goes downstairs to find that something is wrong in his kitchen. It has been tidied by elves and is clean. Bob thinks that tidying up is a waste of time and wants to get rid of the elves. But Bob meets someone very special and realises taking a less aggressive approach to his elf problem might be the answer. 'Bob and The House Elves' was written by Emily Rodda and illustrated by Tim Archbold.
The clip provides a focus for work on character, setting and plot in work in stories with familiar settings and/ or fantasy stories. This could also be used in PSHE work on conflict resolution and solving problems.
