This clip can be used as a starter to a lesson where pupils have to devise number bonds. They can be shown the clip and then asked to find their number bonds for each number up to ten. The clip can be used both as a teaching tool and to provide the spark for a repetitive but important activity. Pupils can then be asked to take up the challenge set at the end of the clip with three numbers and see if the rule still applies.
