Get the children to sing the song from the clip and this will reinforce 2D shape vocabulary. Whilst listening to the track, they could make the shapes with different parts of their bodies, or in small groups, they could then discuss this. Following on from this the children could then be provided with a variety of photos (familiar to them) or go on a hunt outside to look at them in the school grounds. Here, they can identify the different shapes in them. Some of the children can also write down the properties of the shapes. Ask the children if there are any other properties to 2D shapes that they could add to the song which have been missed out.
