Teenager Marie is discussing her first sexual experience with her friend, while her boyfriend does the same. He is surprised to learn that he is the first of his friends to have sex, as he thought they had all had sex already, and felt under pressure to do the same. Both discuss why they didn't use a condom. Back in an SRE lesson the teacher discusses some myths about sex and pregnancy, as Marie looks worried.

This clip can be used to help students discuss their thoughts on how to protect themselves against pregnancy and STIs, how to negotiate using protection before sex and the pressure on young people to have sex. This could also lead to a discussion about emergency contraception options. This clip would be good to use in conjunction with the other 'Teenagers and sex' clips. The clip is the last of four in this series.
